If you look at Post Malone you would never guess he’s one of the most talented artists alive.
😂😂😂
He's not.
He's certainly well rounded when it comes to music. Started in metal/rock, went to rap/hip-hop/pop, and now dabbles in country.
Do you realize how many musicians are out there? The true geniuses never get heard because the industry wants another puppet, not another Prince. Diddy said something along these lines himself.
Art maybe. Maybe.
Not music.
I like how Michael overanalyzed the lyrics to the point that he missed that it is obviously talking to a girl that the singer recently broke up with.
Did you not watch the full video? He literally said that towards the end of the video 😂
@@amydiaz1629 Yes, he did present that as a possible interpretation of the song. He seemed to be too hung up on the fact that it was a duet between two guys to get what the song was actually about.
@@eli-bt4he Words can and do have multiple meanings. Even if it wasn't intended by the artist, which we don't know, we can still learn something from them.
I just enjoy them singing this in front of the American flag and being very classic "American."
Low key feels like a political nod to the whole issue of hey, a lot of hands are in the pot of this mess we are in
It’s amazing how low the bar has gotten isn’t it
@@jmebig3044very,very low
With painted nails 😂
I liked it too
@@moose6284such a weird thing to worry about 😂
Love your politics…. But you missed it.. NOT about alcoholism
It’s about relationship. 100%.
He said that, you should actually finish the video before you comment
yeah videos like this are why people hate conservatives and why conservatives are notoriously bad at art. Taking art 100% literal and overanalyzing everything is the reason the right started losing the culture war from the beginning
He misses his politics as well
I like MK but you're right. The beginning with the phone call is the exposition of the events.
Michael totally didn’t understand this was a breakup song then tried to recover at the end😂
Its got 2 subideas
1. the alcoholism that she led him into
2. the breakup
As a songwriter, from experience its always nice to have a little bit of a story like this
so he cant finish a song before saying what its about?
Dude, ...He's saying she drove him to drink. It's a country song.
this reminds me of having to rewrite my essay to the english teachers liking.
Dude are you 12? Fcks sake. Talk like an adult
@@williamsharp2532 You sound utterly unhappy, i'd revalue you outlook.
@@williamsharp2532 Production is what makes this good though. Keep in mind this is all LIVE instrumentation too... no computerized stuff. That alone is a miracle. Trust me, as a producer myself, I prefer stuff that is highly produced and mixed well instead of raw stuff.... If I want raw stuff then I listen to live performance
real.
I really like Morgan Wallen, and I think this song is really good. Love Michael reacting to this
Pre Fourth of July… perfect timing… summer songs, they just hit different
Agree. 😊
You’re correct at the end, this is about a relationship going/gone bad and the person singing is saying I’ll take the blame for me, but it wasn’t just me and I’m not taking your part too seriously
They say recovery is a selfish program. It needs to be. If you can't help yourself first, you cant help anyone else (like your family, you even have to help yourself before them or you wont ever help them)
Morgan Wallen sings arw consistently good. He's got a great voice and cadence.
Post Malone got 1000% better after he dumped H3.
Who's H3?
@@jacobmorenzoni1873Ethan Klein the host of the H3 podcast.
What do those people have to do with oneanother?
If this is 1000% better he must have been the worst artist ever before this
must not be your cup of tea, this song is amazing
Michael Knowles being in the chair as Morgan Wallen throws it off the roof is an interesting mental picture
Need more Morgan wallen content from you Michael
These two are very talented and love their music
This song is being added to my Spotify at this very moment lol . Such a good song
I mean he said he moved to Utah to do cowboy stuff, but I did not expect him to act do country music?
He grew up in Texas and said he grew up listening to country and I think he started out playing country from what I’ve heard
if you listen to him speak normally even from years ago you can tell he speaks from the south.
I love the philosophical breakdown Michael provides with his expertise. It's unlike any other music reaction on YT.
Thanks. God bless
More like his bias. I seriously enjoy his thoughts, but on this one I think he missed the point that started with the beginning with the phone call. It's about a Relationship falling apart.
🫶🏼 Posty & Morgan
We need a Knowles watch collection video ASAP. Collab with Ben too if possible.
As long as it's an objective view and not a direct laser on their own platform of ideas and morals. I enjoy watching and listening to both, even as an atheist. Their sociopolitical views make a lot of sense.
I love this duet.I love collaboration between different genres of music. It's is untied as showing the flag.We are one people and lately we tend to forget that.
Mr Knowles. Im wondering if, maybe, you could review ”Dax - To Be a Man”?
Dax also has many songs about God and religion you might find intresting.
Love from Sweden! 🇸🇪
I love that song, especially the 10 minute version with a bunch if collaborations - it brings tears to my eyes every time.
He also does a collab with Tim McDonald and Adam Calhoun that's really good.
dax steals bars and scams smaller artists, scummy
The to be a man collab with Darius Rucker was great.
@@nathanwilliams4005he did an earlier one with Tom that 8s phenomenal. I think it's Blame the 4appers if I recall correctly
Umm…I think it’s a dude talking to his ex, or soon to be ex, girlfriend, who is blaming him for their breakup
I love how you analyzed this😂 please do more of these videos
I’d love to see Michael react to Lorna Shore - Pain Remains. He might change his opinion on metal music
Or some Christian metal like Skillet or The Devil Wears Prada
@@Meyer-gp7nqor black sabbath, the only good christian band
@@Meyer-gp7nqMicheal Knowles reacting to Prada would be hilarious he’d hate it until he read the lyrics
@@Meyer-gp7nqis devil wears Prada a Christian band? I had no idea
I found you through a review and now I love your reviews 🤘🏼❤️🇺🇸
Good analysis, Michael!
“I don’t think so buster!” Lol
Classic case of not judging a book by its cover. Post is by all accounts and stories probably the nicest and most humble celebrity there is.
Relatively, speaking compared to the songs competition on UA-cam, this song is much more dominant on the streaming platforms and digital sales. It sold 40K in pure sales the first day; most for 2024 so far. It had the highest global streams for a Country song in Spotify history, and Spotify is very liberal about what they classify as Country, e.g. Broadway Girls, Old Town Rd were country on Spotify but not Billboard. Amazon Music, same deal. To date, we have only one weekly debut songs chart out officially. Aria--Australia, weekly top Singles...Had Some Help is #1. USA Billboard Hot 100 announces Monday!
I love when Morgan says "huh" sarcastically I never heard of Morgan as I only watched cause of Post! Post is amazing!
How did Michael not catch the real story. It’s about a failed relationship with her blaming him for it all and talking about him. He’s saying she is half of the problem because it takes 2 yo make it and 2 to break it.
‘In the upbeat country song, the pair sing about a breakup and how they wish their partners would take more accountability for the demise of the relationship.
Essentially, the breakup wasn't all their fault. They had some help in the ending.’
Just when I thought he was gonna miss it……he pulled it together at the end. lol
song is a banger
Michael…your editors are awesome 😂
“I don’t think so buster” 🤣🤣
I read the song as a metaphor for a broken relationship. The alcoholism and unhealthy method of coping with the issues is Post's side of the problem but I think he's speaking to a women about how she pushes or hurts him.
One of my favorite collabs.
I love Knowles but is he purposely not understanding this song? It’s clearly a breakup song where he is saying it wasn’t only him drinking and partying- she also drank and partied with him. Knowles, you crack me up 😂
Something sad is Michal was looking down at his paper during all the good parts😂
For REAL! The best little quirky things like siblings do around eachother. And the butt wiggle 😂
Morgan is one of the best out there ❤
😂 love this
Wow I thought this was about a break up 😂
This song is such a banger
The song is about a relationship. And every problem in a relationship has two sides. If both parties aren’t willing to admit their role in the problems then recovery becomes exponentially harder.
If you read the lyrics, the song is about saying the ex saying crap about, to whoever is hearing, is also to blame for the failed relationship
Great song. Also, I'm pretty sure Morgan Wallen comes out with a new song every week. 😂😂
Great song. Love the old American feel of this video.
I have to say that song hit home to me as my wife is leaving me. Not even a Post Malone or country fan as a "goth guy". I'm even a fan of you Mr Knowles.
LOVE Post Malone
It’s the dichotomy of it all
Omg please react to more morgan wallen!! Also the eurovision songs please:)
Michael, you should listen to Geoff Castellucci "16 Tons". I'm a low bass myself, and I love that vein of music.
React to “Lies, Lies, Lies” by Morgan Wallen next
Great song
If Michael likes Morgan Wallen, he'd probably very much enjoy "Don't think Jesus"
My song... love Morgan and Posty ❤🎉
Michael needs to do some AJR reactions. Some interesting lyrics there to dissect.
There aren't many payphones but I do know, there is actually a payphone on the historical registry and one of the small towns in our great country. I think they should still be at least one and every town
This song is pretty straightforward. Breakup happened over someone's drinking antics. However the girl went out every weekend with him drinking and partying. Great tune and will be the biggest song of the summer. But he really should stop drinking.
Killing me with the self ads
It’s about a girl drove him to drink and it’s a fun song lol
Not a country fan in the least, but this one's pretty good. Both artists are quite talented
Song is a banger
They should add michael knowles reacting to Sabaton. I watched that review he did on the daily wire. Sabatons like my favorite band. Yaaa ! Sabaton! I don't know how to send a message to the daily wire, but I would enjoy another review of sabaton by Michael. I hope one of them see this.
Ya. I like the song. One has to be careful what kind of influence they are being on the ones around them
Never thought id see micheal react to morgan wallen
We need him to react to Sleep Token - Aqua Regia
You must react to falling in reverses new song Ronald
i love that Morgan walls final gets the credit he deserves from you 😅, thanks for the reaction i always appreciate your thoughts
Nice
1:21 1:26 ❤🎉😅😮 1:41 😂🎉
Y’all need to do a Diss review: Kendrick Vs Drake
Need a review of the Drake and Kendrick beef
It’s about the girl in a failed relationship, she’s partly to blame too.
Morgan Wallen amazing!!!!
🤠🤣Great fun song - a real toe tapper - anyway, be careful, Nashville's becoming infamous for folks getting roofied. Check out the bars, etc, for where it's happening. Kinda startling, IMO🤠
Michael react to a Dax song next. Plsssss. He did just release a song titled a real man
You should also react to Shaboozey - a bar song (tipsy)
If there’s one thing Michael Knowles is gonna do, it’s overanalyze the meaning of a song lmao
You need to do a reaction to Polyphia's music video "Ego Death" featuring Steve Vai next. It's completely instrumental (meaning no singing or lyrics).
🥱
Bro polyphia is GOATEDDDD. As a guitar player myself I LOVEE their stuff
@@hegemonycricket2182 What? It's great.
Hey Michael, I would love to see you react to a few songs off of Taylor Swift’s new album The Tortured Poets Department.
I would love for you to react to
• The Prophecy
• So Long, London
• The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived
I think your perspectives on these songs would be really interesting to hear.
It would've been SO cool if the song started with blaming the girlfriend and ended up expressing gratitude to God for sobriety "i didnt do this on my own, I had some help"
Except the reality is that this is where the story ends for a lot, you end up drinking way too much with your buddies to get through life.
Michael has an amazing ability to understand literature. If he ever tried to extend his expertise to a video game I’d like it to be Pathologic 2.
But yet the meaning of this pretty simple song went right over his head...
@@eli-bt4heyou stink of pride and failure
dude he’s just speaking word salad over a simple concept, i’ve worked with dozens of people like this.
Can you react/review uncommon valor by Jedi Mind Tricks, it's an older song but I would love to hear Michael's analysis
😄 that would be awesome.
I would like to see him react to "Virus" by Deltron 3030
I have seen most artist that they don't like meeting people on stage for me there are Enrique Iglesias first second post Malone 3rd Martin Garrix who does electronic music
You heard it here first folks, this Morgan Wallen fella might be going somewhere
yum
Mike! Do some reviews of Christian rock! (I know on your show the other day you kinda ragged on the genre, but you should review some) I recommend Switchfoot or Skillet
Ugh no. So cheesey.
You should react to flicker by theocracy they are a Christian metal band
Ya missed the message! It’s ok. Such a cool song! I’m 62 and soooo loving the “country” Post Malone! Morgan Wallen sure ain’t bad either😎✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻
Michael!! Please do a Morgan Wallen mashup...I wrote the book...Don't Think Jesus... & Working Man (Larry Fleet + Morgan Wallen) ❤
I saw Post Malone's black fingernail polish and it took me back to an encounter at a nearby cafe. The cashier had black fingernail polish too and I refused to buy food there. Who knows what kind of bacteria I'd be getting.
What’re you doing in broadway, michael?
This is going to be one of your most view video 😂😂😂
Do Houdini by Eminem!
Now review Psycho by HARDY
It seems like it's two guys kinda have the same story.
Post is who Beyoncé wishes she could be, not a child predator
yayyyy micheal likes morgan wallen
React to Kendrick Lamar, Not Like us or Euphoria
Please react to Man Made A Bar by Morgan Wallen
This is the most NPC reaction, he didnt even understand what the song is about and for no reason is constantly talking about problems that arent included in the song at all xd
