    I cant begin to imagine the strength a person has with hold to their ideals in the face of such unspeakable torture. I feel enraged that such injustice exists, the courage that man has - made me also tear up. For those fighting, existing through this. The world must not forget this, the world needs to remember and hold those who commited such things to account.

    I'm a Ukrainian diaspora and the old man reminded me of my grandfather, he looked and talked just like him. He passed away 25 year ago. This video made me tear up when he talked about his torture and how he refused to be a traitor.

    I used to live in Kharkiv and would often go to Saltivka to go to the mall, bbq, and wakeboard. It was the quiet suburbs of the city full of families. What Putin's forces has done to the Russian-speaking population of Ukraine is reminiscent of what Hitler did to the Jews. Russia must be stopped as he's currently doing the same in East Ukraine still today.

    Kharkiv is a beautiful city. Even though at night we had to be in the dark and i woke up abruptly with missiles landing closeby every damn night, the Ukrainian spirit (I’m not ukrainian, I was a volunteer) rubbed off on me, and i had the courage to live my life. I would go to parks in the afternoon (the one with a river), malls, bakeries.. and then i couldn’t go back because the gps was scrambled 😂 i also heard a missile flying and hitting closeby and wonder for 20 seconds if i’d be hit. At the same time, I’ve had beautiful memories there too. Kharkiv will always be a part of me 💛💙 Slava Ukraini 🇺🇦

As far as so called "occupied" territories are well supplied and restored on civilian infrastructure, I was there I know the people there and still in contact with them. Nobody oppressing them and they are doing better now then in the rest of ukraine people does. But people of ukraine actually dying, because instead of supporting them with peace approach you fuiling war with endless weapons and propaganda of "no choice" either fight for us or die. People want to live people should live! Why everybody is so blind to understand that there more damage on this unreasonable fights than gains on saving its self-destruction regime with its own dead bodies. There will be no win. I saw fronts in both sides. I saw people who lied about russian oppression only to not being punished by ukrainian military after rescue. And than same people was praising russians for coming back. There always two sides on a coin and this video isn't representing right one. Wich is sed, we all need peace! Yet Zelensky need war more than even Putin(

      Which soldier castrated and killed a captured soldier on his video phone? I could go on and on and on. Ukrainians were living a peaceful life and never threatened any other country. I would say that it is Ukraine that wants peace! Can you honestly answer these questions and come to the same conclusion that you shared in your reply? I was in Kharkiv last July, when we heard those similar constant bombings going off as if it were right behind the buildings closest to us. When we went Northeast of the city we were actually targeted very closely by missiles right over our heads.
    When I came back to NYC, while going down the stairs to a subway platform a train started coming.
    It sounded like the bombs which were going off in Kharkiv. I froze in some kind of basic survival instinct, and while I knew it was just a train, for a minute I couldn't move any farther. It's upsetting even recalling this. Upsetting not even for myself, but I can only imagine what it's like for people who have to live under those circumstances 24/7 and almost /365.

I have known their hospitality, their generosity, the way of thinking that is not too different from many Spanish cultures, like Andalucía, Galicia or Catalunya. They are great people to have living as your neighbors. The hate the russians are getting for their brutality, despicable way of treating other people and cultures is immense. I don't think Vladimir Vladimirovich Hit... sorry, the son of a Putin, realizes what he has manage to do with the image the world had for short time of Russia and his people, he has drag them with him into the darkest descriptions you can apply to a cultural / ethnic group. Why are you using a slogan that originated with the Waffen SS?

    • @trolslovenski
      @trolslovenski Рік тому

      You czechs forgot who dragged you from Hitlers paws. What do you know about conflict that started 8 years ago? Or just following a current thing? You knew people of Donbass were cut feom water and electricity for allmost 8 years? You know they signed 2 agreements and they were nullfied by ukrainian shelling for 8 years? Know about nuclear posturing of Zelenaki in January last year? You saw attitude of ukro children to Donbass children? You saw a video when they tell that theirs will live in basements and theirs will go to school? You saw a video where their politician is calling to kill all russian children now, so they will have less hassle after? I think its first time that you hear that. And i am not blaming you. You can blame your "free media". Ehy are news sources blocked? Ehy is anyone who doubts arrested and fined? Did u protest for Gaza? Or Syria? Or Iraq? Or Libya? Or Yugoslavia? Thought so...

    Many thanks to Foreign Correspondent for making this thoughtful video. Reports on Ukraine war are few and far between in Australia where even a respected newspaper such as The Age will lazily publish Kremlin-speak articles presenting the 'both sides' argument lifted straight from Reuters.
