HNY! Now listen to your Auntie A, because I'm older and wiser. As a business owner, you don't have a "stash" you have an inventory, supplies, or materials. Also, you may never have a stocked website. Baby, your products are gorgeous, and your customers are refreshing several times a day and buying multiple items before others do. Not a bad problem to have. My opinion, you are being too hard on yourself but it's good to have goals and to make time to evaluate them. CONGRATS on a successful 2024! Can't wait to see what 2025 has in store for you!!!
I agree. You increased your inventory because of all the scrunchies and market bags you made, and sold. You technically increased your business, so your stock increased. Stop beating yourself up just because your business is doing well. Love all that you do.
Video idea: everything I sold in 2024. If not for a video, just to see for yourself the amazing numbers of how many tops, bags, scrunchies, beanies, and bandanas you made and sold. Then every time you feel bad about not having stock up on your website you can look at all the hard work you’ve done.
What I took away from this video is that things can change a lot in a year. I didn't see it as you failing to meet your goals for 2024 but, rather, that your situation has changed. Your business grew; your subscriber count on UA-cam grew; your views, orders probably all increased substantially. The reason your shop is sold out of everything is because your shop is just that popular right now. Same thing with your yarn stash; I personally think your yarn stash grew because your business grew. Or having the time to write more patterns - you physically didn't have the time to write more patterns, because you had an unending stream of custom orders to make. I don't think there's anything you need to do better. You're doing amazing. Your 2024 goals just couldn't catch up to you, is all. 👍👍
You could start by making one project every week with yarn from your stash, on top of whatever you’re planning for the week. That’s what I’m doing and trying to do this past year and it’s gone well! I’ve used up some of my stash. I’m hardcore focusing on it this year and I’m also on a yarn buying ban unless it’s for a specific pattern I’ve picked out to do this year or an order that someone places.
Happy new year kelsie. i am a long time supporter but never comment. Seeing you beat yourself down at the beginning of this video was heartbreaking. You work so so hard releasing vlogs multiple times a week, coming up with new ideas, keeping yourself motivated and staying ontop of orders. Your products are such high quality, both your physical crocheted items AND your videos. You bring light to so many peoples lives as seen in these comments. In the new year yes it would be amazing to work through some yarn, make new patterns etc but the reality of a crafter and business owner is that you are constantly time short. Youre doing amazing and we are all so excited to spend another year with you
A new idea for yarn stash, you could keep a basket in your room where you put a few skeins or examples of colorways you want to use more of that month, and then over the month try to use all of them. You could even film yourself doing this to keep you accountable! Just an idea! Happy to have you back after seeing you every day for vlogmas!
My take on your “yarn stash”. The majority of this yarn is supplies necessary for your business. I would imagine if you had put the year purchased on all your lily cotton yarn you would find you had very little little lily yarn purchased in 2023 still in your office. Most of the lily and juicy yarn you have is so that you can fill all the custom orders you receive in a timely manner. This is all necessary to run your business. I feel like the only way to have less yarn is to use or get rid of the acrylic yarn in the cubes behind you and fill them with the juicy and lily yarn you use all the time. But you have stated that you have your office set up like it is so that it looks nice on camera. It’s a give a take. I think you’re doing great. Cheers to you for a wonderful 2024! I can’t wait to see all you accomplish in 2025.
You met your goals!!! Keep in mind you're the seller, buyer, maker, advertiser and marketing.... You're a beast girl....kudos to you and making it sustainable that your hands can work so hard!
One of my goals this year is to learn how to knit. I have been crocheting for 20+ years now. Your beanie tutorial is amazing and I am working on my first hat!! I am actually knitting!! Thank you for being such a great teacher!! ❤
The look on your face when you started talking about the yarn stash goal 🤣 but tbh, looking at it , it just needs a new system is all. I know you don’t want more shelves, but you could switch the yarn to some clear large bins with lids and stack them with certain kinds of yarn. It’s way more organized and pretty looking, and easier to tell what’s in it! They’re needed supplies for your business, honestly, I think it’s a stash to be proud of !
Missed you kiddo, Happy New Year, you were a supernova in 2024, just the filming alone is a full time job, you have done fantastic, we are all proud of you and what you’ve accomplished ❤
You are not giving yourself credit, you didn't write patterns, but you did crochet different things, hooded sweater leg warmers, granny vest, content was top notch, I've watched a couple of other youtubers, and they were watching you as well. I think you're an inspiration to many and that means something in itself. Hopefully I will be able to catch a drop with this new method either way, I love the content I love the products you're putting out there and I also love how you bring attention to your friends UA-cam channels. I never would have found Zach Jayda Brooke or mags without you!
I think you tried your hardest to meet all your 2024 goals. You definitely made a lot of items, which used up a lot of your yarn stash. And you tried to keep stock built up, but things just sell so quickly on your website (which is awesome!) Also, the “write more patterns” goal was technically met too, because you now have 2 more patterns on your website than you did at the end of 2023. Great job on reaching your goals in 2024, you are awesome! Keep striving for bigger and better things, and continue to hold yourself accountable. As long as you are better today than you were yesterday, that’s a win!
You are doing an awesome job and I will continue to watch your videos no matter what you do. Luv watching and listening to you. Thank you I have been crocheting for years and sometimes a little bored but you have made it fun again. ❤❤❤
Kelsie! So glad you are back and I hope you had a great break. My business goals for 2025 are: - Write at least 10 patterns - List at least 10 items on Etsy (not patterns) - Have at least 10 sales on Etsy - Do my first market (at my town's pride festival!) And make at least my table fee back
My goal for this year is to make all kinds of crochet items to get better at crochet because eventually I want to have my own business! Ever since I found your channel I have literally fallen in love with the whole crochet business and life long career!! So thank you for everything you do you truly are such an inspiration to me and I'm sure to so many more people. I love your content it means so much to me!!!!❤🎉
on the upside, you had a great year filled with success for your shop and channel !! you completed a lot of other goals that you maybe didnt even know you had at the beginning of the year :)
Suggestion: maybe buy some large clear totes and organize your boxes of yarn in those so they are stackable and will actually clear up a bit of floor space as you are using up the yarn. As you empty a tote they can be stacked together or have finished products in them. Also I feel that if your yarn stock is being smartly shopped for when there are sales then that is a good business move. Have you thought about branching out into plushies?😉. Maybe making a pattern as well as putting a kit together to make that project for beginners. Just an idea. Love the idea of the monthly drop sale. At least try it for six months and if you need to adjust the date to right after the 1 st of the month when some people get paid you can make that adjustment then. You are doing great and I never miss a video ❤
I’m happy I found in the end of 2024. I’m a new crocheter but I’ve been learning so much so fast and I really enjoy watching your vlogs. They’re so soothing but also interesting to learn too. Cheers to 2025 and can’t wait to be here for new vidsss
Yayyyyyy Happy New Year to you as well. Hope you enjoyed your time off and your anniversary with the hubs. ❤🎉 Awwwwww, sorry to hear you were ill. Boooooo. Glad you are feeling better and happy to see you. 😊
I have way too much yarn also. My craft room is horrible. Working on it daily to organize and use what I have. Wishing us both a very successful year in our hobby/business.
Congratulations on all you have achieved in 2024. I think it is a lot and I am so glad you post 3 times a week. I really look forward to sharing that time with you, love your energy and positive vibes you give out. I think the goal you have set of clearing the floor will happen with the new plan of making things and then putting them up for sale, because you can just work through the yarn from the floor until it is cleared. If you can bear to part with any yarn you dont intend to use that would make room so that new yarn doesn't have to go on the floor. When I declutter it inspires me to create more. What ever you do I shall be watching and cheering you along have a great 2025.❤
Happy to have you back, and happier to hear your break wss restful for you! You worked so hard throughout 2024 and especially Vlogmas, so this viewer is happy you got a break after all that grinding. Re: your stash - I saw another comment say you, as a small business, have materials and inventory, and its good to have those things to make sure your business stays going just in case, the JIC stash. That being said, if you have a lot of yarn you don't have specific plans for, why not continue the Vlogmas wheel and do a Stashbusting kind of series in the vlog backgrounds? Maybe 1-2 stashbusting projects a month, or when Saturday lives resume that could be a more "dedicated" use for that time? Giving yourself the permission to use the stuff and letting us give you ideas like we did for Vlogmas combined into using the wheel - win win!
Hi!! I’ve really missed your videos! But I’m glad you had a much deserved break. Can’t wait to see what the new year holds for you. I think it would be great to do part 2 of the one color at a time series and only use shelf yarn. 😊 it would be a good way to use up some yarn that you’ve had for awhile and also fun to fill them in with new yarn. I missed Neji in the video❤ Can’t wait to see more. Thank you so much for all you do ❤
Happy New Year Kelsie!! 🎉 I think you did great on your goals. I feel you accomplished your pattern goal, because those are 2 patterns that you didn’t have before. 🌟 Looking forward to your content this year. Keep up the awesome work! 🥰
Good goals, just remember through that packaging and mailing had a certain following. It added a bit of predictableness and completion to a task, closed the chapter, onto another one. Now the routine would be craft for 28 days, drop on 29, ship on 30, for contrast purposes. Maybe drop mid month and end of month? Fingers crossed you get your new home, inclusive of a nice big crafting room with no need for boxes on the floor. ❤
Welcome back Kelsey missed you and the boys (negi Terry and ceaser) I only started crochet last October when I found you and been subbed since if it wasn't for you I still being getting pissed off with magic rings as I couldn't do them before watching your videos 😂 you done so well last year can't wait to see you rocket on this year ❤️and missy meany dropping hints something amazing is on the horizon and leaving us hanging 😂😂 good luck for 2025 hope all your dreams come true x
Goals aside - I’d say I’m pretty proud of you. You’ve built your business up on your own. Your shop is always in demand because people want items made by YOU. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Great job and thank you for being such an inspiration to myself and many others here. Happy New Year!
I've missed you young lady!! Happy that you took a break and hope you got everything you wanted for Christmas! You've got the momentum going to accomplish anything you set your mind on doing, so I'm confident this time next year you will be checking all 4 boxes! You didn't mention how you're going to handle any custom orders? Maybe open it up for a week each month? Happy New Year!!
I've been working from my yarn stash since around July/August, so one of my goals this year is to buy more yarn than I did last year to restock it. I'm going to be making it my goal to slow down and just have fun. I would like to try harder to keep up with my weekly posting, and I'd like to make 8-12 pinterest projects I have had for years, lol. I can't wait for tomorrow video and I am so excited for this next year if fiber arts for all of us 😁❤️
Happy new year. 🎉Anyone else laughing at past Kelsie roasting herself. We all have the problem but its funny hearing the difference one year can make :) happy to have you back
Happy new year! Making more of those coasters would be great for cotton yarn busting! I've been addicted to making them since you introduced me to them through your video. Can't wait to hear what the secret goal is 🎉
Was so excited to see this video at lunch! Missed seeing you everyday! You spoiled us! Good luck with your goals! Will wait patiently to hear your big goal!
Hey Kelsie, I think a good way to get inventory, and get rid of some of the stash would be to make videos surrounding different themes. An example being like ocean or fairy. Then you crochet to that theme and you can make it as simple (color scheme) or as intricate (having different textures, adding appliqués, and extra things like beads or chains.) just have fun and explore. I also think you could also choose a painting and try to make crochet things inspired by that painting. For example, starry night, you can use the colors to make beautiful crocet pieces. (I personally think a hexicardigan with a pocket made out of the spiral granny square)
Happy new year! Great to see your smiling face today. I have gotten into watching you and a few other crafty content creators the past 3-6 months. All of you have brought back my love of crafting. I have been sewing and crocheting so much in November and December. My husband and I are planning on starting a small family business for our projects.
You did the hard part, you posted! video idea, what if you showed the behind the scenes of writing a pattern. This would be two fold, more video content and writing a pattern at the same time. I think with the juicy couture situation, you use all of it to make scrunchies. Unless you narrowed your color selection, I think that part is going to be what it is. Same goes for the cotton, since it is the heart of your business. As someone else said, sentro your acrylic into beanies, ear warmers, etc. and move your INVENTORY to your shelves. Or you could swap, juicy couture and cotton to the shelves and acrylic to the boxes/rubbermaid containers. I think you are doing great and I always look forward to your videos!
Happy New Year! 🎉🎉 I ordered from Zack, too! Can’t wait for my order. I also managed to catch a Joann’s sale that included some Juicy Couture! So excited for my orders to come in! 🧶🧶🧶🧶
I think your once a month drops will help with your yarn stash since you won’t have to constantly run out of one specific type of yarn and go get more you can just use what you have then post what you made with it!
You did great in 2024. Maybe that doesn't count for the set goals but you were always moving forward to make things better and to meet the needs at the time. You did great things this year!!! There were goals you reached that you didn't even set. So glad to see you and hope you feel better soon.
I think you are doing an amazing job. IMO, you used a lot of yarn from your stash. What is saw is you purchasing more yarn for custom items, which you got a lot of. Also, I agree with everyone, it's a good thing that you sell as soon as you post the items. You have inspired me to be more visible on my social media and I will definitely be setting a goal for 2025. Thank you so much
my craft related goals are to open a shop for crochet items and to finish most or all of my craft WIPs. im hopeful but I know its going to be a challenge.
So happy to see a uploud!! I am also starting 2025 with a cold, going on a week now but i wont let that stop me lol. I'm also doing a no yarn buying for 2025. I hope to get some online sales this year for my business. I think the drop system is great, gives your customers more chances to get your products.
Kelsie! Welcome back I hope you are recovering from being sick. I look forward to what you have in store for us with this “surprise goal”! Also I think you’re being to hard on yourself about the yarn storage. The boxes are all your supplies for your business! You are constantly using the yarn from the boxes and I don’t see how you’re going to minimize it if the products in demand need the yarn you don’t have storage for. Not telling you to get more storage maybe just shift yarn around in the storages and get rid of what you don’t need? We will support you no matter what! Personally, I think I just want to make more content in general and I also want to get an online shop going (currently only doing markets). Keeping it pretty simple and attainable for myself. :)
Oh my gosh I've been waiting for this video since last year! Happy New Year Kelsie, have a successful and healty year both you and Cesar! My goal is actually to crochet less because it takes up too much of my free time and I tend to neglect the other things I have to do. A healthy balance that I am aiming for! Thank you for your content, see you on wednesday!
I think you did a great job with your goals. I also think you should give yourself some grace about all the yarn you have because you have a business that requires you to have yarn. All that yarn will be used no doubt and more than likely you did use up all the cotton yarn that was on your floor in January 2024. So I’m here to say you did accomplish that goal. As for myself, my goal is to make a blanket for both of my adult children and all 6 of my grandchildren, so 8 blankets total. Plus my oldest grandson wants me to make him a star shaped bunting for his future child…he’s getting engaged this year and they are hoping to have a child in 2026/27. So that is my goal this year.
I love your videos, it motivates me to make so much more and actually FINISH my projects!! I have a suggestion of something else you could make to add to your product items, I’ve been making pairs of socks, which took me almost 3 hours to make one sock, so six hours to crochet a pair, just a little idea ❤🎉 happy new years Kelsie 🫶
Welcom back!! Missed you and Cesar. Hope your break was a welcome rest. The goals this year are simple since I now have a sentro. Lol. I would like to make headbands, crochet ami more, and clean up my craft space. I also do resin art, and my craft space is unworkable at the moment. Simple goals because cleaning is my nemesis.
U could try to use the cotton yarn and the tops or bags as the wheel(s) as a random project throughout the week to get rid of some of the stash/inventory
I have another suggestion..I do this...get clear plastic bins for your yarn. Then you can see what's in them and you can stack them and they'll take up less floor space.
Clear plastic totes are perfect for storing yarn! I keep all mine in totes because this is a multi functional studio, sometimes it gets dirty in here 😂
HNY! Now listen to your Auntie A, because I'm older and wiser. As a business owner, you don't have a "stash" you have an inventory, supplies, or materials. Also, you may never have a stocked website. such a lovely message 🥺
This is so nicely written, makes me wish I had my own auntie a life advice. lol. You seem very sweet. 💛
So Kelsie, listen to Auntie A. 😊! She's a wise lady.
I agree. You increased your inventory because of all the scrunchies and market bags you made, and sold. You technically increased your business, so your stock increased. Stop beating yourself up just because your business is doing well. Love all that you do.
You are an angel!!!!! May your blessing be overflowing sis
Video idea: everything I sold in 2024. If not for a video, just to see for yourself the amazing numbers of how many tops, bags, scrunchies, beanies, and bandanas you made and sold. Then every time you feel bad about not having stock up on your website you can look at all the hard work you’ve done.
love this idea!
i love this!!!
Suggestion: use up your acrylic yarn with the sentro quickly, then fill the cubbies from your boxes.
love this idea...
or check which yarns you do not use/like and donate them :)
What I took away from this video is that things can change a lot in a year. I didn't see it as you failing to meet your goals for 2024 but, rather, that your situation has changed. Your business grew; your subscriber count on UA-cam grew; your views, orders probably all increased substantially. I don't think there's anything you need to do better. You're doing amazing. Your 2024 goals just couldn't catch up to you, is all. 👍👍
I know you're worried about changing your background but just think how pretty it would be with the cubbies behind you full of velvet yarn! 😍
You could start by making one project every week with yarn from your stash, on top of whatever you’re planning for the week. That’s what I’m doing and trying to do this past year and it’s gone well! I cannot believe how much you posted this year. You definitely MASTERED that goal!!!!!
A new idea for yarn stash, you could keep a basket in your room where you put a few skeins or examples of colorways you want to use more of that month, and then over the month try to use all of them. My take on your “yarn stash”. The majority of this yarn is supplies necessary for your business. I would imagine if you had put the year purchased on all your lily cotton yarn you would find you had very little little lily yarn purchased in 2023 still in your office. Yeah your back lol had withdrawals lol
You met your goals!!! Keep in mind you're the seller, buyer, maker, advertiser and marketing.... You're a beast girl....kudos to you and making it sustainable that your hands can work so hard!
Dear Kelsie! You did simply great in 2024, no matter, what you are telling yourself... 😄!!!

Nice to see you back, really missed your content.. loved vlogmas. Loved your videos on the go, out with Cesar etc. glad you’re feeling better. Xx
Any achievements are amazing no matter how small 😊
Came back to say this will be the year Cesar learns to crochet, I can feel it lol maybe it can be a series lol
My favs Passioknit Kelsie & MJ’s off the hook‼️‼️ 🧶 ✂️ 🤚
clear totes are stackableyou can see at a glance what you have and gets your floor clean it works that's what I did it keeps yarn clean also
Goals aside - I’d say I’m pretty proud of you. You’ve built your business up on your own. Your shop is always in demand because people want items made by YOU. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Great job and thank you for being such an inspiration to myself and many others here. Happy New Year!
Thank you so much!
Can't wait to hear what the secret goal is 🎉
Happy New year. Go girl.I wish good luck.😊Thank you for sharing.
Was so excited to see this video at lunch! Missed seeing you everyday! You spoiled us! Good luck with your goals! Will wait patiently to hear your big goal!
You have been great..pat yourself on the back..I'm still watching!
So proud of you, 14:18 you did great. Glad you are feeling better. Give your self a break. You only bought yarn you needed to run your shop.
Very nice to see you again
Happy New year, and welcome back. I'm sure you will complete this years goals.
I believe in you,
Happy new year! Great to see your smiling face today. I have gotten into watching you and a few other crafty content creators the past 3-6 months. All of you have brought back my love of crafting. I have been sewing and crocheting so much in November and December. My husband and I are planning on starting a small family business for our projects.
Let 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣5️⃣ just flow, and everything will fall into place stress free...❣️🎉❣️
You didn't really fail your goals you locked in on one or two and ATE!!!!!!!!!!!!
You could have a tall bookcae to display your scrunchie. It is very pretty! Then you could tell which colors you use the most.
Your videos have helped me come out of depression
Thank you so much
Im so excited your back
Yay!!! Happy new year! I’m so glad you’re back 🎉❤
my craft related goals are to open a shop for crochet items and to finish most or all of my craft WIPs. im hopeful but I know its going to be a challenge.
Happy new year everybody 🥳🥳🎇 you should use some of your acrylic you have on the shelves and make room for all the velvet 😂
Can't believe how much I missed your vlogs! Excited to see what the new year brings for you and your channel 😊.
So happy to see a uploud!! I am also starting 2025 with a cold, going on a week now but i wont let that stop me lol. I'm also doing a no yarn buying for 2025. I hope to get some online sales this year for my business. I think the drop system is great, gives your customers more chances to get your products.
You have used a lot of yarn, but people also have been sending you yarn. So I think you did accomplish you goal.
Can’t wait to see what you accomplish this year! Love watching you MWF’s ❤
Thank you for your content, see you on wednesday!
kelsie back and the world is healing
So that is my goal this year.
welcome back!!! so glad you were able to take some time off for yourself < 3
Yay!!!! 🎉 HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! 🥳 , I’ve missed your videos so much as we were so spoilt over vlogmas 🤣
Hi, Missed your vids/vlogs but glad you got a much needed break. Well deserved. Do hope you feel better soon. 🧶🫂
Hope you complete all your goals 🎉
I have so missed you. I'm looking forward to seeing what you accomplish in 2025.
I like the overall monthly drop dates you’re planning in 2025.
Clear plastic totes are perfect for storing yarn! I keep all mine in totes because this is a multi functional studio, sometimes it gets dirty in here 😂
I'm currently knitting your beanie pattern and I going to try a use my yarn stash up xx
Happy new year beautiful! Welcome back!
So happy you are back 😁
you did so well!!
