- Duran Duran performed at the BT London Live opening ceremonies for the London Olympics last year in Hyde Park, where this video of the band performing their classic hit track, "The Reflex" was filmed.
I remember when I turned 15 yrs old I ask my parents to buy me my first Duran Duran album, im now 42 yrs old and still LOVE THEM..

Me impactou !! , eu tinha 12 anos de idade , um garoto ; como não ficar impressionado com mutantes pulando , voando e dançando com olhos bem negros e dentes pontiagudos, com o Duran Duran fazendo parte. Duran Duran AND The Red Arrows - my 2 favourite things in the world!
While it ranked high up on my list, "The Reflex" was not my favorite Duran Duran song... until I saw this performance and how much of a fun song it is! I finally got to go see them live in 2022 and when they started up with "The Reflex," my emotions exploded!

Drummer (Roger) should get more camera time! He's especially great 4:50 - 5:00, and holds the whole groove together so well.
It's as if he never left. He shouldn't have left in the first place but he was feeling exhausted physically and emotionally.
But in recent live videos Roger always has a smile on his face. I don't think I ever saw Roger so happy in my life.

I miss Andy too but I think Andy really didn't want to be in the band anymore since he wasn't getting along too well with Nick and Simon.
and his harmonies killed it. The guitars are so missing here.
I love , ADORE the FIVE but he didn’t want it anymore. That’s okay but I couldn’t deal with the band disappearing just because of him .

That was an absolutely beautiful gig and audience, the city was absolutely buzzing with excitement about the Olympics.
I made the videos shown on the large screens in this video it was so cool to be there that day i couldn’t stop jumping up and down when they came on screen lol

Please let me share very nostalgic.
Such a classy band, and timeless ! I would love to be to see them live, however, my infant daughter and I, have been victimized/brutalized ! I cannot afford anything at this point, because of the horrible financial abuses and destruction of property ! Certain law enforcement agencies know all about it, and have basically ignored the REAL crimes/abuses !

Playing a remix arrangement live works well for Sunrise, but not (IMO) The Reflex (which, in its original form, is a great song). Also: gotta feel for Derek...

Ok I love the reflex, can't stand that stupid violin synthetic sound nick plays on this live version. It sounds out of tune out of place, like a cheesy midi sound set violin. Just my $.02.
+sofadviolator Yeah, it's too bad the keyboard is so far forward in this mix, and guitar is almost totally inaudible.
Otherwise it rocks pretty well though -- the rhythm section kills it!
