Honestly, the Sidemen editors are probably the best editors in the world. If you see the among us edits, then you know how sick they are. Plus they edit for not one or two, but several channels. Anyone who talks rubbish about them, show your skillset to prove your point.

I edit 17 minutes to 1 hour videos and I can say with all confidence that I get so frustrated just making sure I don't delete a sound file or 100 subtitles. SDMN edits must be so much more complicated since they have more angles and tech to them

Everything he said about the Sidemen Sunday edits is SPOT ON! It pisses me off so much to see people, who clearly have no idea what they’re talking about, go in on the editors for tiny mistakes that ANYONE could make. Not only is it free content every single week but there is so much time, effort and money (from so many different people) that goes into these videos and they can’t deal with one tiny mistake?!? They’re by far the most consistent group on the platform, be grateful for what you’re getting!

I've tried editing for a school project. It took me over an hour to edit a three and a half minute video on decent software so Kon and the team do bits do don't judge
7 Camera's , 3 hours of shoot , Which is 21 hours of 4K Video Clips, On top of that Audio , and Subtitles etc hats of to the editors

it's mad that people can't clock that editors usually also aren't just editing one video, especially editors that edit for multiple channels. i didn't like how everyone started associating the errors in the videos with the release of side+ when there have been mistakes in the past as well. yeah it might happen a few videos in a row, but the dedication they have to releasing an amazing video every sunday is admirable at least
As an editor myself I feel for those guys who are editing sidemen videos😭 that is a lot of work and a lot of time put into it. If there ever is a mistake the editor definitely feels it the most :(

Man I agree with Tobi so much like it used to take me like 4-7 hours to edit 3-4 minute video, It's so stressful especially when you're putting many small details and have so many clips you need to put together... It's just too hard man

Some constructive criticism for Tobi's editor : Make the background dark instead of white so we can read the Twitch comments as well.
This is the graphics overlay Tobi uses for his live streams, the editor has no way of changing the colors or layout of the video/camera/chat, etc.

I know right? Even the most basic edits that long take skill and hardwork. People like to think of editing as something just "FUN" and "simple", but that's the farthest from the truth.
I don’t know jack about editing because I’ve never done it or at least properly, but it’s definitely very tiring and draining.
Sure, some might find it fun and simple but generally it’s exhausting going back and forth to recheck clips and very frustrating when people complain about a minor error instead of appreciating the whole process.
I know what you mean with editing. The misplacement after adding to a clip or even accidently adding something between.... it's insane annoying having to go back

i 100% agree with tobi on this, BUT in the halloween cooking sidemen sunday at around 35 minutes there is a really loud soundtrack that plays and you cant hear anything for the next few minutes. its probably time stamped in the videos comments somewhere.
