Very nice to see test card f there too. This must have been by 1981 on bbc1 as they changed to the twin line ident that september. Also too this was when schools were on bbc1 as they were until june 1983. From september that year they went to bbc2 instead. Also too test card f really ended in april 1983 as such as from may then ceefax pages took over in downtime on both bbc1 and bbc2 as well too. Thank you.
Ceefax was first shown in March 1980 on bbc1 I read in there too. I know it did also list a time like here when test card f was shown between the schools series then too if not this one then I would guess too.
Ceefax was also on bbc2 as well at times of old around test cards f or g the pm5544 as it seemed to also be known as then. Itv and later channel 4 had their own iba etp1 card which they showed if not oracle or 4 tel at the time so too.
A Good Job With Prospects is the programme that makes up most of this video.
@@201081hero Aaaaah thank you loads 💜❤️❤️❤️❤️
The "X" on the blackboard was significant - It marked the exact centre of the screen to help the BBC engineers calibrate the picture correctly.
Yes that was so right too with test card f of course too.
They're a clever bunch.
