Thank you for that, being there with was very informative and tell me what to expect, having a heads up works well. I enjoyed that really did feel like I was there. Thanks for sharing Ray K UK. YNWA.
Really useful to see how the classroom stuff is done. Doing mine end of this month (June) online, then exam part beginning of next month (July). You’ve made it look less scary
It not hard but will tell you now. This man making it sound very hard. L have my VHF. L would never goto this training School he taking about things that way way a head of the vhf
The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) officially defines the word "roger" to mean "I have received all of your transmission." For example, a pilot would say "roger" in response to an advisory from air traffic control.
Good of him to let you film those bits, and very good of you to have shared. So i take it the exam was done in the same day? Were you allowed to refer to your notes, i.e is it open book?

Great that they have allowed you to film some of it. It’s interesting and is a good little reminder.

I have booked my course for September. I’m sailing in Ipswich.
I hope you keeping well.
I never knew the guy from the Brittas Empire done radio courses!
Actually ROGER is used in Aviation, CAA publication Cap 413. ROGER means "I have received all your last transmission"
You can’t really Roger a controller as it mostly requires readback etc. but you can a FISO or basic air/ ground
Thanks very good lesson :)
Roger= R for received.
