- Hey guys! Today I am sharing a massive grocery haul for my family of 6 that will set us up for the month. I will be sharing a monthly grocery haul at the beginning of each month and also including prices. This month I ended up shopping at 4 stores.

Nestle Nido Fortifacada is a dry whole milk that is so much tastier than the nonfat dried milk. If you don’t find it with the other shelf stable milks, some stores stock it with the Mexican foods.

There are a few areas close to the border that I like ( well... they were there before Covid) the other side of my father's side is extremely German. Of what your kids and husband like to eat and activities to do.
Usually, when watching videos of ‘Grocery shopping with’, whether it be on UA-cam or Instagram, it’s always really soothing to watch which foods people choose, making you wonder if any of it is something (or similar) you yourself need, even if you live in Scandinavia, and the videos you’re watching are by people living in the US 😄 But on occasion, it’s also nice to see people purchasing non-food related stuff for household and stuff, because even that might inspire you to get something similar (or the same), if you notice that, for example, you need different sized storage containers for all kinds of foods (whether for pantry or fridge), or whatever gets used to stack items on, on the shelves in the fridge 🙂

I love that you are so willing to support your daughter Paige’s preferences for food and you look for similar options for her. I am a meat eater but I have been cutting back somewhat and trying some plant based options. The breakfast bowls you got from Sam’s are so good. I’m obsessed. I was sad when I ate my last one lol

I enjoy seeing everything. Sometimes I am stuck trying to find a gift or we’ll be out of something and then I see it in a haul and remember to add it to my list. I’m older and mobility challenges keep me from actually going in a store and I enjoy seeing all the stuff I forget about when ordering online. But in fairness, I will watch whatever you share, cause I enjoy your hauls so much.
I only shop for two in my home so it’s fun to watch someone shop for a family lol

Hi, Vanessa. Because you asked, I really prefer to see the non-food items as well. I love seeing what you buy the twins for clothing. Everything is so darn cute. But I am flexible and will watch no matter what you put out or what everybody else wants. I really enjoyed this one.

The Sam's club toilet paper is HUGE and is actually Charmin just packaged in their packaging. Cheaper and a lot more!
Wonderful haul. Great deals. Knorr is a German brand, "K"s are stated in German. So it is said as "kaynor". Knoppers the German wafer cookies is also the same. I lived in Germany and am part German.

I love watching your grocery hauls because this why i can see what they have. Those big bags of frozen mixed vegetables i use them for stews, roasts, soups, chicken and dumplings and chicken pot pie. ❤
The mixed vegetables will be great in chicken pot pie! Also, I have always pronounced Knorr’s with the “k” being silent. Loved your hauls but certainly feel bad that you have to put it all away-that’s the worst. Also if you need to use the instant nonfat dry milk, you can always make a batch of your own “cream of” soup base. It keeps for quite a while. I try to avoid the condensed cream of soups and this works well.
Can you make an emergency storage video? Coronavirus has opened my eyes a lot to always be prepared for anything. Storage includes: food, water, emergency supplies, cleaning supplies

I keep my Sambal Oelek in the fridge, although jar says store in cool dry place, ( would probably get forgotten in pantry). Lasts a very long time , and use on all sorts of things, even cottage cheese. Yes, please show all of the hauls. Be safe and healthy 💖☺
I was curious about the peppers when you mentioned it, so I looked it up! Basically, they are all the same peppers that start out green, so those are picked the soonest, then they turn yellow, then orange, and finally red, so they have to take care of the red the longest, which impacts the price. I thought that was really interesting, I always kind of thought they were different varieties!

Okay, this was the grocery haul to beat all grocery hauls, and I LOVED it! I really prefer to see everything because then I get ideas, like your crisper pan. I hope you'll let us know how you like it once you use it, plus I don't think you go into too much detail at all. I just really appreciate all the work you put into your haul videos!

Good luck on monthly grocery shopping! One thing I learned was to keep good track of when things expire because after weeks you may forget what you have and it spoil. I ended up still having to go to the store each week because I would be missing an ingredient or change what I wanted to cook weeks later. It is a mission for sure! Can't wait to see how it works for you
I haven't mastered the art of monthly shopping either. After a couple of months I gave up because I ended up in the store every 2 weeks anyway.
Red peppers are more expensive because they take longer on the vine to ripen and they are the sweetest of the bell pepper family. Thanks for sharing your haul with us.

I’m sorry to say but sparkling water is not regular water that your body needs, try using lemons or limes in your water. Sparkling water do not hydrate you like regular water does.

Chili garlic sauce can be added to anything you want to add a pop of spice to. We put a little in our ramen, yakisoba, fried rice and stir fry’s.
Should also add a little to pho. We add it along with plum sauce or (hou sin) sauce from Asian store.
Red bell peppers are more expensive because they have to stay on the plant for a long time in order to ripen. Red bell peppers start out green. More time to grow and ripen=more expensive for the farmers to grow.

Cotton candy grapes are sooo good! But I find them so expensive!

I love the peanut butter and dark chocolate protein bars! They are so good! There aren’t any almonds in the protein bars. They are an easy snack for me during the week since I am in a day program for adults with Autism in between my classes.

Personally, I love when hauls show grocery and non grocery. It gives insight of what certain stores have or carry or even gives me ideas of new things I may want to add to my shopping list to look for next time I’m out!
As a German I can tell you the German company Knorr is pronouced with the K there is no silent k in the German language ☺️

Bell peppers are green originally, the longer on the vine they turn red and yellow, so it takes longer to get those colors so I’m assuming that is the reason
In Germany, we call it Knorr. The K is not silent. But i dont know if that is the correct way :)
You will love your Cricut. There are so many things you can with it. I labeled all of my spice jars and canisters. Made signs, greeting cards, you name it.

I've always pronounced "Knorr" as if the K was silent. Also, the reason red peppers are more expensive than green peppers is because they are harvested later and spend more time on the vine. The green ones are the cheapest because they are picked earlier while they are still unripe.
My bday is July 3rd! I pretend all 4th activities are really to celebrate my bday! 😂
We go to Sam’s Club once a month too, I feel like it saves me money 🤣 I also enjoy sparkling water but I try to drink a gallon of water a day...I feel like it helps me stay awake while working lol.

FYI The best dry white for cooking is Sauvignon Blanc. Chardonnay is very oaky & can overwhelm a delicate dish.

That's what I was just thinking - the TV commercials definitely say 'Norr' so I always figure the manufacturer must know how to pronounce it, but people always seem to want to argue about the 'right way' to pronounce different name brands.
In Denmark we pronounce it with the K

Make chicken pot pie with the frozen veg.. the garlic chili sauce is a great condiment to add to fried rice or chow mein and keeps fine in the fridge.. about the peppers, I believe the reds are the ripest so maybe because they have to wait for them to ripen that brings up the price 🤔 and lastly, omg you’re so right!!
