In this video we`ll dive in into the detailed analysis of Halle Bailey's performance on Disney 50, where she sang famous Elton John's soundtrack to Lion King movie "Can you feel the love tonight". I`ll try to repeat tricks and techniques she used in that performance to explain you better what is going on there. I feel that she's singing the song the way she is because she's also acting, and she's trying to display the emotion of the scene in addition to delivering the vocal performance. You can almost see the innocence in her character by the way she sings the lyrics. Great vocal analysis!

It’s like you’re criticizing her in the beginning for singing soft and pretty.. but a song needs to build into something. She KILLED this rendition loved every moment.
What made you think so? I’m just telling the fact that her singing is soft and beautiful (i’m using the word beautiful:) … and idkn - “beautiful” means something bad?) and in the end of video i’m saying exactly that thing - that she builded that song from smaller to bigger sound
@@MeladaVocals Unfortunately there's seemingly always some people who have to bitch about everything. I wonder how this person sings and whether she would be able to copy Helle as close as you did with all of your technical capabilities and expertise.
You've done an exceptional job in analyzing as well as mimicking her way of interpreting that song, technically (classical tone, placement, the cry, twang, belt, mix, head, falsetto, vibrato and vowel modifications) in all registers, and musically (dynamics and riffs included).
