Brandi Hollis honestly yes! It’s pretty accurate over and under the mesh top, just don’t use on glass surface since it only measures the surface. And it reads everything you put it on well! The basking spot from 106-112, right lower at 103, the other side from 80-89! Thai tool is very helpful.
I bought this same thermometer thanks to your helpful video. Unfortunately I can't find the instructions anymore! Could you please tell me where I could get the instructions of this model? Or maybe you could send me some pictures of your instructions...
Did you ever find the instructions? Contacting seller on Amazon you can ask for the PDF and they will supply it. Sorry for the extremely late response. Never saw this comment.
I am sorry but I don't remember what it means. It has been too long. Try clicking the link to the product on Amazon. Most of my videos have an attached link.
Thanks for asking! Tell them it would be a really good improvement, I use the Thermometer to check my baby bottle before bed, and would be amazing to keep it mute so my baby doesn't wake up hahaha.@@BrandiHollis_ProductReviews

The result in my body is 33.7 C and repeat, but the normal human temperature is 36 C, i put the EMS on 0.98.How can i do to calibrate or what is the problem?, can you help me?
@@BrandiHollis_ProductReviews Not for the body??? It’s advertised on Ebay as “Medical Grade NON-CONTACT Infrared Forehead Thermometer”. Isn’t the forehead part of the body?
@@bobmcwilliams4416 obviously the eBay listing is wrong. These types of IR thermometers only read surface temperature of the skin. Medical thermometers can read the internal body temperature because they are designed to penetrate the surface of the skin. You can’t turn the beep noise off... just the laser itself. For some of my clips you won’t hear the sound since I sped up the video to get to the point and show a specific feature. If I left the beeps it would have sounded funny... LOL
@@BrandiHollis_ProductReviews I completely took mine apart almost breaking the button but I got the beep noise to be half as loud lol 😂 still works good put it all back together but the beeper I tried poking hard and it damaged it so it's not as loud anymore, works perfectly and the noise isn't as loud as before 👍
Thank you! I couldn’t figure how to replace the batteries. I’ve had it for a few years so lost the instructions
Thanks for letting me know! Glad it helped!
Does anyone know how to turn down the volume or mute the beeping? It is an excellent product.
Volume can’t be adjusted - sorry. I think the product is great as well.
Great video!
Thank you!!! I appreciate that!! 💜
I just ordered this to monitor my bearded dragons terrarium temperature
Cool!! Is it working alright for you?

You forgot the fun feature it has where it doesnt turn off, stays on, runs the battery out and wasted your AAAs
I do not remember - to be honest I think mine auto-shuts off.
Does it have back light to turn on/off. Does not seem bright enough at bright places. What is that bulb icon on the screen?
I don't remember if backlight is on for on/f but you can choose it to be on.

Not meant for taking body temperature.
How can I torn off the BIP sound? is driving me crazy!
I asked the seller, and as I thought - you can't turn it off. Sorry. 😢

On how to install the batteries
@@alberttanner408open hatch. Insert batteries.
I have this. The beep is terrible and there is no option to turn it off.
I have this too and not sure why everyone has a problem with the beep. It measures temperature. It beeps when done. It works.

That means it is faulty.... you can exchange it for another one. It is a reliable object thermometer.

How do you reset this thermometer
Did you ever figure this thermometer out? I would just remove batteries to reset it. It still works for me.
