The Lomellina is a geographical and historical area in the Po River's valley of northern Italy, located in south-western Lombardy between the Sesia, Po and Ticino rivers. It is one of three areal divisions of the Province of Pavia.
Lomellina is Land of Rice. The economy of the entire area is still dependent upon rice production. Historically, the cultivation of rice took place in water, but it is now rapidly changing into a “dry” cultivation, which the experts claim reduces costs while still creating a product that is comparable in both quality and taste.
To learn the secrets of risotto and other rice dishes, cooking classes can be arranged in this area taught by both home cooks and professionals.
The gastronomy of the Lomellina is also famous for its goose breeding and various goose preparations. Looks like a lot of fun! Love the slow motion parts. My only complaint is the music...I wouldv'e loved to have heard the sounds of the horses hooves pounding on the ground and the splashing of the water!

Wow if I ever hot a chance to hunt over season Italy and that hunt would be it. Best films I've seen on fox hunting. And experience riders. Better than others I've seen. But why so many officials?. The ones wearing the pinks.

Thank you for appreciation. Unfortunately I have no fox hunting experience, I was just lucky enough to be able to film that event. Therefore I can't explain the reason for the colors of the clothing. Probably, since it was a simple simulation, the participants dressed as they liked according to their tastes and the availability of clothes. Greetings

Mettere la giacca che scimmiotta quella dell'Italia per la Coppa delle Nazioni (rossa con il colletto verde) per fare la caccia alla volpe , (simulata pure quella! In Italia poi!), saltanto verticalini da 40 o 50 cm, non è ridicolo; è grottesco!!
Ma una cosa cosa vera nella vita la farà mai certa gente?! Mi ricorda "La vecchia imbellettata" di Pirandello: desidera essere una ragazza giovane e bella, e non lo è!
Suscita un pò di tristezza, umorismo.... e un pizzico di compassione,,,,
Ognuno si diverte come vuole, ma questa critica ci stava tutta!
