In MCA IGNOU you have to attend practical classes and clear practical exams along with theory papers. You will have a project in final semester and you have to complete it under a guide. You should also submit assignments for all theory papers.

IGNOU launched online MCA in January 2022. Even after 2 semesters, there have been no exams or practicals so far. Every 6 months, they just ask to pay fee for next semester, and then ghost you. There were no doubt clearing sessions in 2nd semester. Even in the first semester, the sessions were extremely poor. LMS portal is third class and is usually not updated with study material, recorded lectures, assignments, etc. IGNOU authorities hardly reply to email queries. Better choose other alternatives if you're serious about your career.
I applied for July 2022 session and exams for this session is already done( as per some videos ) i couldn't find any message or notification from University regarding any assignment or exam. Exam are being conducted or not?
@@nehasinghal6288 Exams were conducted for MCA_NEW ODL programme, not for MCAOL (online) program. Just last week they suddenly announced the exams for 1st semester for students who enrolled in Jan 2022 session, with no tentative datesheet or list of examination centers. Exams are being conducted offline and students have been assigned exam centers far away from their places, even they choose regional centers near their homes while filling the exam forms. There was no option to select examination centre in the form, you could only choose regional center. Even then students have been allocated exam centers outside their regional centers. There are lot of ambiguities in IGNOU's online programmes and extremely poor support.
Duration for my second semester ended in December 2022, however they have still not made the study material available, nor the assignment links have been enabled in the LMS portal. Total mess!!
@@TheBanjaara Yes as per some sources on different platforms exam for mcaol is to be conducted after every semester but when i tried to fill the exam form i couldn't. Did you submitted any assignments in 1st semester because i couldn't find any message or notification from ignou side or any link for that
@@nehasinghal6288 Yes, I did submit the assignments in 1st semester online through their LMS portal. They don't send any notifications to students. You have to check their website regularly. Highly pathetic and mismanaged system..
Guess what 1st semester exams for Jan 2022 students are starting from 23rd Jan, and students have been asked to fill the exam form by 20th Jan. And then they are allocating random exam centers in the last moment without thinking about how will the students commute. My exam centre is 65kms away from my home.. lol 😂 I thought the exams will be conducted online in this program. They kept a lot of ambiguities during the launch of this program and now giving new surprise every now and then. They also keep changing rules at their own whims and fancies..
So for july 2022 session there will be no exams? Now that would be in july 2023 right?
And what happens if i didn't submitted the assignment?
Still i consider distance MCA kyunki regular mca(not from NITs or DU) ke baad 80% cases mein 3-4 lacs ka package lagta hai as a fresher aur distance se krne se 2 years ke experience bhi ho jata hai aur mca bhi aur 2 years ke baad achi hike le skte ho.

I would never suggest anyone to do ANY KIND OF DEGREE from ignou , it is the worst experience of my life , books time pe nahi milti , padhai ke naam pe to kuch hota hi nahi hai or exam kitne bhi ache se dedo marks kabhi 60 se zyada nahi millenge or most of the cases me to zabardasti fail krte hai taaki wapas se re-evaluation karwaye jo bacha apne answers pe confident tha or inhe or paise mille . Koi dhang se check ni krta

Don't spread miss information on youtube, who told you that u don't need to do projects in MCA , in IGNOU we have to do 2 projects under the guidance of teacher in order to complete the degree along with this 70% of attendence in practice is required to sit in the examination OR Bhi etna bhi easy nahi Hota ignou ka mca exam clear karna KI bas exam me jakar paper do or clear hogaya degree , it require dedicated study to clear the papers IGNOU paper checking is very strict.
Kuch bhi post karana se pahle research kar lea karo .

You can go for ignou mca but there is no on-campus placement facility so you have to relay on yourself and ignou paper checking is very strict so you will require dedicated study of atleast 3 months in each semester to clear the papers.
So if money and time is not your problem go for regular MCA otherwise IGNOU is also good you just have to put some extra efforts.

Need to submit assignments for each subject. Also Practicals, Viva and projects are there. The syllabus of IGNOU MCA is very vast and complete. I have compared the syllabus with many other online courses offering universities like KSOU, LPU, Vigyaan, jain GLA etc. More research is expected before making videos on educational courses.

Please mind before making negative statements. Google declared that they need knowledge and no degrees. My friend done mca through ignou and now she is getting 1lack per month after 5 years. She didn't feel any issue with mca from ignou. What the employer is looking for the knowledge and command over languages and frameworks, etc
