In case anybody was wondering what the songs on the radio were: The Drifters - This Magic Moment Mary Wells - My Guy Four Tops - Sugar Pie Rosie & The Originals - Angel Baby
wow, just came across this. This is the Blvd. I cruised in 1973-1977. I did not know there were cameras and vid back in the day. The memories were in my mind.
I visited my cousin who took me down Whittier Boulevard 1973 it was bumper-to-bumper and we were not paying attention because all the girls walking down the street and Bam his low rider hit another low rider in front of us but we were going so slow It didn’t do any damage but the guys we bump into ,we explained why we bump into them they laughed and said keep your eyes on the road.we all laughed. It was an experience!
Cruzed Whittier Blvd every Saturday Night back in the late 60’s. That’s when the Blvd was bumper to bumper. It was bad!! No police or ambulances cause they couldn’t get through. Good times. After that I heard they closed it to cruzers so you’d park in parking lots along the street. AKA. Hueda
I remember seeing old school classics rolling thru sunset and Normandie an one of them almost crash but he knew what he was doing he was controlling dat thing
This seems better than any amusement park or carnival ride.

The Four Tops song is "I can't help myself (sugar pie, honey bunch)"
