The metal wave will not hit Dimapur the same way it did way back in 2006-7-8. Those years were the most powerful and darkest in the history of Dimapur metal music. It's over now. These newcomers don't have the capacity to be that powerful and brutal, both musically and vocally.
Long are the days gone mate... I'm 25 lol I feel like there are hardly anyone who listen to metal/metal-core/postcore/dead/dark metal etc.... Seriously even among my circle of friends I'm the only one that listen to metal genre.... Looking at it it's too sad😢😅
No band in my opinion were musically / technically profecient as the "Esa Yimer" band. It's sad that they didn't win any tittle. The vocalist of the Code XXVII was awesome, love the band. Naga Incarnate churned ot some rocking performance. The amount of rocking vibes they poured out makes anyone forgive for some of the flat vocals lines. Nevertheless, they rocked Period! I have nothing against "Lateral Move" these guys are cool. But for god's sake, a Pop song singing band being adjudicated as the winner of a Rock contest is sacrilegious to all the head banging rockers of Nagaland.
That’s just your opinion, that’s why they didn’t qualify. But strongly agree to the part about “Lateral Move” winning the “Smash” contest. No matter how good of a band they maybe . It always has to go on the theme . But well, bygones are bygones.
Rock contest won by pop singing band lol Nagaland 🤣. Judges need some classes as well Based on “how to judge”. This is why majority of the times, outsiders leave away as the winner of the Hornbill Rock contest.
I'm sorry but i don't believe lateral move stood as winner. It seems like these days metal is not counted as music. Bands like lateral move is counted as music which sucks.
