I'm really scared that I am gonna get infected in a few days, I cooked eggs by myself and I can't stop thinking that I'll get sick. Even if they looked like they were cooked I'm still terrified 😢I wish I wasn't always afraid

You should always be afraid to cook something like that because you never know if you cooked it properly or if it’s cleaned out properly. I had salmonella poisoning May 2023 Memorial Day weekend, it came from eating turkey patties that were contaminated with the bacteria. I cooked them all the way and made sure I got them cooked properly but they were not cleaned out and I was very sick. I ended up in the emergency room 2 days after eating the turkey patties, with severe stomach pain and severe diarrhea, that place didn’t help me because they said it’s food poisoning and it would runs its course.
I go to a different doctor and that’s when they made the discovery of the salmonella in my stomach but at that point the salmonella had reached my lungs because the doctor said there was fluid in my lungs and that scared me. She said that the salmonella was moving so fast and that we had to move quickly because I was in trouble. I was on 4 different medications for 3-4 weeks and I had to drink PediaSure along with it.
My recommendation for you is to just have your food cooked and ready at the store and not to cook it at home. The cooks know more than us on how or cook it.

I ate turkey patties Memorial Day weekend and it was pretty good but 8 hours after eating them I became sick and I figured it was a minor stomach ache and I took some medicine for it and i felt better but the next morning I wasn’t feeling well and figured it was a stomach bug that I caught from the kids because I am a teacher. I went home and took a nap but I woke up feeling sick, so I just assumed it would blow over. The next morning (Saturday) I woke up with really bad stomach pain and started having diarrhea, that afternoon I met my mother and sister for dinner and once I got there I threw up on the floor. I immediately went home and on my way home I threw up again in the car. I had to pull over and put my hazard lights on to throw up. The next morning (Sunday) I was feeling a lot worse and still having really bad diarrhea, again assumed it was a stomach virus and decided to stay home and sleep it off. I was still throwing up and had no appetite for 2-3 days with no food I ate. Monday morning Memorial Day I woke up with severe abdominal pain and was even worse then before, so I rushed myself to the emergency room and the doctor there was no help because he told me that it was food poisoning and that it would run its course. I went to another clinic because there was no change in my symptoms. The other clinic there told me that I had a severe case of salmonella poisoning and that it was spreading throughout my body. The doctor listened to my lungs and she said there was fluid in my lungs, she said that there salmonella was moving around quickly and that they had to move fast. The doctor felt my stomach and she said that my stomach was so severely inflamed and so badly swollen from the salmonella. I was put on 4-5 different medications for 2-3 weeks and was in pain from everything. I did cook them all the way just right but the burgers were not cleaned properly and didn’t get all the bacteria out of them.
Please stay away from these turkey patties, they are a very serious health hazard to everyone. They will poison you, they poisoned me and put me in the emergency room.
