hi! i hope this helps when you use hello bubble again. i used the primer once because i was going for a whale deep blue shade. one of the sellers told me that you had to leave it for 2-3 days after using the primer. then, you can now apply the desired color itself. i think that goes with other salons as well, that's why others would go back for another session. but i think it really depends on their formula.
Hello, thanks so much for the tips. We will definitely keep that in mind. We will be dyeing again soon but since we are going darker this time we won’t be using the primer. But we definitely will prime again in the future :)
@@emilywhitefield4283 if you want to grab the ash tone, i think your hair should be bleached at least for the 2nd time. the vibrant blue from the ash dye would only appear if the hair is bleached around yellowish or platinum blonde.
@@mary-gd7jx Hi! When u colored ur hair with the whale deep blue shade, is ur hair bleached before? Or u just used the primer? Im considering to dye my hair blue too, but I have very dark hair. I dont know if it will show haha. Thank you
@@zunkun8563 hi there! if your hair is still in its virgin color (let's say black), use the primer twice. but apply it after an interval of 2-3 days.. i observed that the primer is oxidizing to your hair to achieve a lighter shade. after using the first box, wait for 2-3 days before applying another. if you visually think that the hair is already light enough to achieve the dark blue hair color, you can apply it after 2-3 days of the 2nd primer application. i hope it helps!
4:37 not me, dying my hair with the same brand, doing the exact same thing as ya’ll and staring back at my phone with the same look 😂😂 btw, love the review. You guys are so cute
Does the color dye box contain bleach? Am I supposed to shampoo after since it is chemical box dye or will that wash away the color? Do I just wash the bubble away and go straight in the mask pack?
I’m not sure if bleach is in the color dye. I’d assume the blonde colors would more or less contain a bit, but I could be totally wrong. After all it is a temporary dye. We shampoo after and then the mask pack.
You will see a lot of color being washed out but it shouldn’t wash out all the color. The next few washes will also leak color. As long as you’re not doing it on natural dark hair you should be fine. It won’t look like the box color unless your hair has been bleached to a blonde level color tho. hope it turns out well :)
Hi, we primed our hair with the primer, and dyed it the next day. Use the serum after shampoo and optional conditioner, and leave it on for around 3 minutes before washing it off. Please keep in mind that the colors are not as accurate if you have darker hair. Feel free to ask us any more questions you have!
Definitely worth it. I don’t know if the color will come out if your hair is naturally dark. I used the primer two days in a row which lightened it good enough for my liking. I’d recommend to at least prime it once before the color. I have never done hello bubble without primer. I have natural black hair but has tons of dye layered on it at this point. Hope this helps :)
Hi! Thanks for this video! I’m glad I stumbled upon it as I was researching about this brand because I am considering coloring my hair, and it is my first time. I’d like toask if you have a maintenance shampoo that you use after all the coloring? Like what is your everyday shampoo that helps in not damaging the colored hair? thank you! I hope you still see this comment even if this video was some time ago already :) Thank you!
Hi, sorry for the super late response. We just use our everyday shampoo. We don’t think you can really maintain it since it is a temporary dye that fades as you wash. If you don’t have oily hair, then you might be able to wash it less often, which will help the color stay for longer. If not, you might be able to skip an extra day of wash by using dry shampoo, but you can’t quite use dry shampoo consecutively since it doesn’t actually clean your hair. Hope it helps and that this response isn’t too late for you. Thank you for your support :)
@@thematchavlogs No worries! I'm reeeeeeally thinking about coloring my hair, if I should try this or go to a salon instead if it's gonna be my first time :)) Thank you so much for this! This helps a lot! :)
It is for us. In this video our hair wasn’t too long but we recently did dye to fix our shades where one of us has much longer hair but is thin while to other has mid length but thick hair. I would say if you have waist length and very thick hair, you might want another bottle. Hope it helps :)
The primer is similar to a bleach, but it doesn’t turn your hair as light as bleach. You would have to use it multiple times if you want it to look like the box. I want to say that the more you use it, the more you’ll notice a bit of damage, but using it twice didn’t damage our hair.
Hello, the primer will dry your hair just a little bit. If you use the primer multiple times it will start to dry it more and more because it is sort of like a really light bleach. Not too bad if you don’t prime it many times. It’s just a little drier than before but we do use hair masks occasionally. Also keep in mind that if you have dark hair, the color might not show.

Is the primer same as bleach? Does it damage your hair?

Do your hair gets dry day by day after washing with shampoo?

Aww thanks, you stay safe and happy too! ☺️
Did you need to wash with shampoo when it finished
yes, wash it with shampoo, then use the serum that they provided and leave it on for 3 minutes before you wash it off.
U guys are korean ?
No, we are not Korean
Very nice
It only shows when you have lighter hair color. Like blond or smth
You shake the bottle too hard that's why the color didn't came out well
Omg really??? Thanks for pointing that out. We will be careful with that next time.
If you want the color out you must wait in 40 minutes i think, 😊
Thank you very much for your suggestion. But I think it’s most likely due to our hair color not being fully bleached :)
At least 40-50 minutes to get a accurate color
Feel sleepy
