Bands here in the Philippines are kinda underrated. They don't get famous like let's say One direction. They don't get to be on Television. They may be like guestings but here in the Philippines they mostly focus on solo singers.
I know. In america, i dont see that many filipino singers as well. If they do have, some hides their race or their company make it exempted in their career. But it's really sad because filipino bands/singers/vocalists/musicians are so talented but only stayed popular locally.
You guys are great. Language barrier for you guys arent an issue. Youve reacted to lots of tagalog songs from Filipinos. Never saw you being bored even if you sometimes dont understand the song. Thats what I call music angels, and you guys are. You both are very enjoyable beings to watch. ❤
Magnus Haven , Rivermaya, Cueshe , Eraserheads, Kamikazee, December Avenue, South Border, Parokya ni Edgar , Calla Lily are some of the bands that exist in the Philippines. HOPEFULLY, you'll get to know all of them 😁
This song is good. The instrumental, the voice, the lyrics. Just perfect. Pinagtagpo pero hindi itinadhana. We've been brought to each other but [maybe] we're not destined for each other. [Still hopeful]

Bands are big in the Philippines specially during the 90s. In every highschool classroom there would always be someone who plays the guitar. Company parties are never compete without a famous band in the roster of performers.
If you want that type of music, please try the following bands: All Wish Bus performance INTRoVoys - Line to Heaven Hale - The Day You Said Goodnight Hale - Sandali na Lang Nexxus - I’ll Never Go
I've listened to this a lot of times already but I never heard them singing it live. And I am mind-blown right now. I guess he sounds good live than the recorded one. So effing good! Thanks for the reaction vid Waleska and Efra.

Thank you so much for doing what you are doing! Your videos have given me a chance to rediscover music from my homeland. I’ve been away from the Philippines for 17 years now. And I have not listened to this much Flilipino music since I left. I stumbled upon your channel a few months ago and I’ve watched a few of your videos in tears. Your appreciation for Filipino music has made me so proud of our culture of music. Again, thank you thank you thank you!!! You have set a high bar for reaction videos. A lot of bands go to other southeast asian countries like hong kong, singapore, thailand, etc. In singapore, they even have a law to put at least 1 singaporean before they would give permit for filipino bands to play in SG
We are so proud to see and hear that the Filipino OPM masterpieces were known through other countries because of this example reactions. Thanks more 🇵🇭
These song is so famous here in PH, especially the line " pinagtagpo ngunit di tinadhan" meaning " destined to meet, but not meant to be" a hugot line..hehehe
Oh my gosh, I really love you guys, I love how you guys react to every filipino singer and to their music. I am also a filipino that's why I'm so proud that you guys like every filipino music. Love you guys 💕💕

The music is really good, but the lyrics is what made it a killer. ❤️ this song...
I agree the lyrics which made the song really better.

Tunay. Kamag anak ko yata mga to eh. Haha one of the smart and open minded reactors Ive come across.
"tayo ay pinagtagpo, ngunit hindi tinadhana" means "we are brought together, but not meant for each other"
Ang sakit naman... pinagtagpo ngunit hindi tinadhana....
There's also another meaning for that
: We've meet but not destined .
"Battle of the Bands" is often a thing in High School and Colleges/Universities celebrations.
we Filipinos loves singing and we easily fell in love not just with the performer but to the lhyrics itself...regardless if it's ballad, rnb, rap or rock..as long as we can relate to the song..that's it!

Imahe is a tagalog word for image.
Image is Imagen(Imahen) in Spanish.
Imahe is Filipino word of image; synonym of imahe is larawan - picture
True it is tagalog but it is actually a spanish word too.
@@juvydewald8712 we have so many "Salitang Hiram" or borrowed words from Spanish. Imahen came from the spanish word Imagen.
Actually waleska guess it 👍
