Hi you just need to change that text or paragraph into steps, so either paste in your paragraph and tell Chatgpt to change it into steps for a flowchart or create the steps yourself, and then prompt it to create the code for the above steps.
Make sure the steps are clear and don't overcomplicate them initially

Hi this works with copilot and Gemini too! Ask it to give it mermaid code for your steps/process and then enter the code just as you would do with the code generated by Chatgpt and you'll get your flowchart

Hi in terms of referencing check out APAcitation guide section on images and charts, however if you are creating it yourself and placing it within your paper, you just need to title it.
Yes, it would work as a PRISMA flowchart, but you will need to specifically indicate the subsections for each stage. For example, if identification has a substage of removing certain records then indicate that in your prompt and be as detailed as possible.
Once you get your code and create the flowchart, then adjust the sections you need

Hi if that happens best thing to do is to start a new chat, clearly state the steps in your process (don’t complicate it initially until you get code that works) then make sure you copy the code from the top right where it says copy code.
Give that a go!

Hi always try to copy the code from the tp of the box where it says copy code and don't try to manually copy and paste.
Second, sometimes chatgpt will give you the wrong code so just start a new chat and give it new instructions. Most of the time it will work.
Third, try and keep your flowchart steps as simple as possible initially to ensure that you get something that works. Once you paste in the code and it provides you with the main template you want then you can either add/remove shapes boxes/etc or you can go back to chatgpt and ask for new code that is more complicated.

Hi here are some tips:
Start a new chat
make sure your steps are clear
Don't copy the code manually, make sure you click on copy code at the top of the code box
Delete all the existing code before pasting it in
