The Hammer Hank Aaron and Say Hay Kid Willey Mays were my favorite in the 60s.Thats What got me to love the of Baseball. and now to this day they are the grates for what they did Amen
@@davidlafleche1142 the stats are very similar. My guess is that Drysdale benefits from the location he played in and being a bit of a “Hollywood” guy. Tiant should probably be in as well
I wonder if swinging cross-handed in his youth is where Aaron got the wrist strength he was so famous for. Not recommending it to youngsters, just a thought.
Greatest hitter of all time for sure! First in RBI's, First in total bases, truly the First in HR's!, second in doubles. And he played against ALL the best players in his career. Not just white players.
...and at the end: almost 7000 Total Bases?! W. O. W !! Think about how many times a player would have to get on base to even get close to that number...
Best of all time? How could that be argued? Top 10 as of now, yes. He was amazing, but #1 is a ridiculous claim. In 50 years, Hank may not be in the top 20.
favorite M L B player of all time..
@@rooseveltgreen1276 he was a great one. Maybe the greatest

@@ironfarmer7169 two great players!
The HoF vote is a joke sometimes. How can you look at Hank's career and say "nope, let's leave this guy off the ballot". Disgraceful
Should have been 100% unanimous. That’s the problem with having writers voting. Someone always has an axe to grind. Thank you for the comment!
There were a lot of racists running around back then.
Also the same thing with Willie Mays too. Two thirds of my 1960s outfield with Aaron in left, Mays in center, and Clemente in right.
@@BBUYTTVLuis Tiant was a better pitcher than Don Drysdale, but which one is in?

Hank was an extraordinary person.
No doubt about that!

That is an interesting point. He definitely had super strong wrists and hands. Thank you for the comment
The Hammer! It hit hard when he passed.
Absolutely, He was such a great man. Definitely a true hero on and off the field!
Still has the HR record in my book 👍💉
In my book too!

He gets my vote for the best of all time. The numbers are mind boggling
Hands hitter, stiff front knee. Not done anymore.
@@jomamackdaddy not done anymore but you can’t argue with the results
I like your videos, but the background clicking drives me nuts. It makes it really hard to watch your videos.
Thank you for the feedback. We will work on taking those out going forward. Thanks!

I don’t see your logic. To me he is at worst #3. Thank you for your comment
@@BBUYTTV 3 would be top 10. Logic.
Hank used amphetamines to enhance his performance 😊
They all did, it was standard practice pretty much
@@sandmanlogan5ran149 Dont worry. Amphetamines good, roids bad.
