Pretty tough song to squeeze. I had a hard time on the 1st activation for the longest time until I realized I needed to hit the last note of the overlap phrase late. Now it's easy peasy. I think the hardest activation (by far) is the 4th one. It's at the tail end of the awkward strumming section in the last solo. That section is hard enough to hit on its own, but then you need to be conscious of when to stop strumming to squeeze. It's very awkward, and I had many runs ruined because of it. The last activation is kind of awkward too. I'm still missing tons of ticks, but at least I hit all the squeezes.

Fortnite now has a Rhythm game mode and a Master of Puppets Emote, so it's certainly a matter of time before their music gets added to said mode.

Absolute most underrated song in the game here. Metallica has always been a top 3 band for me, and this just might be my favorite song in the whole game. It's also pretty damn hard (definitely top 5 hardest in this game alone.)
Yep one of the hardest, although Satch boogie is the hardest song on guitar. Once the solo starts im dead.

A true Metallica Classic of Ride Lighting, I make it at 98% I prefer the guitars for Xbox 360 since the PS3 ones were defective

@James LaBrie i know this is late, but I think what he is referring is to sync problems with les Paul ps3 guitars, you need to change a capacitor to fix the issue
@VTR_monsterextremo not just that. But there seems to be an issue with PS3 Les Pauls in general.
Of course there's the sync issue, but the guitars also seem to have an issue with their polling as they grow older. I've owned 2 PS3 Les Pauls in the past year, and they both had the same issue.
After a certain point, the guitar freezes and won't register new inputs. This is regardless of strumming or tapping, btw. So basically songs faster than slow are a miracle to get decent scores on with the Guitar

Shame this didn't get to be an exportable song. Could have been fun with the double bass on drums. Didn't have too much problems to pass this song unlike with Overkill, B.Y.O.B and Hot for teacher. Now that i think about it, every one of the hard songs (except for hot for teacher) would be 7th tier songs it they appeared on GH3, that is because although i had some of a hard time beating those songs, i eventually did them, meanwhile for the last tier i needed to use more time to pass those, and i can't still pass Raining blood :(
The songs GH:SH has at the two last tiers, those are real hard 8th tier songs.
Lol, almost one year later and now i can pass both versions of Raining blood haha. Now the real challenge tho is gonna be getting 5 stars on both versions.

Not integrating this song into GH Metallica was a huge missed opportunity. It’s super fun to play and it likely would’ve made the final tier of the career if it was in (with the actually hard songs, not The Thing That Should Not Be). Could’ve been a free DLC song or something. Alas.
Probably would have made more sense when they got Trapped Under Ice in the game lol. And they may as well had added it given Hot For Teacher was later in GHVH and even got a new chart. All a question of what could have been I guess

You think with this song being on World Tour, it could have been on Guitar Hero Metallica, but GH Metallica still has some hard to beat songs. As well as the three downloadable ones to Rock Band series.
What I meant was the 3 downloadable Metallica songs to Rock Band also should have been on this game. Especially "Ride The Lightning." I mean you include the other songs from the same album on the game, but why is "Ride The Lightning, ...And Justice For All, Blackened, and Trapped Under Ice not there?
