A first try using the Serpens Modular ARA module as a five-step sequencer. We went a little MacGyver on the racks and now there are two MFB modules on threaded rails on standoffs, above a Metasonix RK8, also on threaded rails on standoffs. There’s two standoffs behind the RK8 too, which support a threaded rail behind the RK8 for the ARA module to hang from, with an UNCPROP Family Tool module hanging from that. The only downside is that you can’t see the ARA logo on the top of the module, which is in an ornate black letter typography, and designed as a palindrome, sort of like those unintelligible black metal band logos. Anyways, the ARA module is great. We had some fader caps left over from a Boss EQ so I put those on for a better feel and a bit less LED in my eyes.
ALM Pamela’s New Workout clocks the ARA and gates the Metasonix S-2000. The Ladik U-202 V/o-Hz/V translates the ARA and send CV to the S-2000. And that signal is drenched in a ridiculous reverb blended on the CXM 1978.
