      @@SylverReactsyeah in her concert. I heard it is a b-side for her new album. Also, she performed Deserve full version. Can't wait for the studio versions of them.

    Love Lane was included in the Piano Man album in the original version w/o Moonbyul. The program producers have a lot of say in what the song sounds like, and they didn't want a rap, but after the fact, Mamamoo always adds a part for Moonbyul. The live band version was at the ModernK music academy. In K profiles, both Solar and Swan of Purple Kiss are said to be graduates of ModernK and that's the academy where Onewe self-formed and used the academy as their agency before moving to RBW a couple of years later. There are a number of videos of Mamamoo, Purple Kiss and Onewe performing there and even a few with Onewe backing Mamamoo. Sometimes Vromance gets involved. One of the producers at RBW is Kim Hyun-kyu, who is the CEO of ModernK. I'm sure the backing band and vocalists were students there, but the featured keyboardist is probably Kim Hyun-kyu himself.

    Marriage not Dating was my first kdrama that I really liked - I got hit by a huge sense of nostalgia and I remember hearing their voices in it before I was a fan

    Haven't listened to these songs in a while so thanks for helping me revisit them.
    Lol about your interpretation of Man to Man cuz there was no way you were going to figure it out from the footage. I would have drawn the exact same conclusions but kdramas have a knack for taking stereotypical tropes in unpredictable directions and turning your expectations upside down before finding ways to wrap everything up with All's Well That Ends Well finales. Man to Man is a fun show and I recommend it but I wouldn't put it anywhere near the top of a list of must-watch kdramas.
    On the other hand Goblin is a must-see. It would be in my top 5 if I made a list. You have to see it for yourself so I'm not gonna say anything about whether your interpretation was accurate but you made sense of the clips in extremely perceptive ways. I'm not an enormous fan of the song but as you said it's got that early MMM jazzy vibe going for it.
    Love Lane was much earlier than you thought. It their first OST back when they were rookies in 2014. You have to see the performance of Love Lane at what I believe was an early fanmeet where moomoos surprised the girls by holding up signs reading Never Letting Go, making them dissolve in tears. That's the incident that inspired Solar to write the main lyrics for their first fan song I Love Too aka Never Letting Go (the Korean title). Here's a link: ua-cam.com/video/s4PBxZgpphE/v-deo.html
    As to other OSTs I don't recall whether you've reacted to their solos, which are their best imo. Wheein is the certified Queen of OSTs among the group, having received an award as one of Korea's top 10 OST singers. With My Tears, Shine on You and Shadow are my favorite Wheein OSTs and You, You is also excellent. Solar kills it on Adrenaline and sings a genre I guarantee you never expected on Bluebird. Hwasa's only solo OST is called Orbit and Moonbyul's only solo OST is a collab with Gaho on Half of Half.

      yeah someone else had pointed that out about Never Letting Go, I definitely need to watch that one! as far as K-dramas go I really would love to get into some, it's now just finding the time lol

      @@SylverReacts In that case beware of making time because, based on personal experience, you might find that between kpop and kdramas you don't have time for much else. They're the tv equivalent of Once you Wheein you can't Wheeout. :)

    I like love lane the mostt !!! They sang love lane lots of time during their early days, you can hear the fan counting the beats at 40:51 for hwasa to help her bcause that part is a little difficult where she always misses a beat. Bfore it was mamamoo that were helping hwasa but after that, moomoos pick up that role 😂😂

    Time for kdrama recommendations 😎
    Goblin is an iconic kdrama .. recent kdramas have alot of similar scenes from goblin but still goblin is goblin hope you have the time to watch it.

    I try not to start Kdramas because i always end up bingeing the series until i end up a zombie at work lol
    Dr Romantic was the most recent kdrama I watched though and after watching the 1st season, I realised there were 2 more seasons (Kdramas usually only have 1 season) so almost started the other seasons reluctantly knowing id lose more sleep hahaha buuuut I squealed in season 2 when i recognized Mamamoo from Hwasas 1st note! Lol Though im a moomoo, I truly didnt expect it!! I either forgot or never knew lol
    Anywayyyy, no they werent the main characters. 'Dr Romantic' is an older genius Doctor in the series who has romantic ideals/values of life (not so much romantic-love-life, his parts are almost all medical drama). The characters you saw were a male Nurse who worked with 'Dr Romantic' for a while and the new female doctor, who followed 'Dr Romantic' after witnessing how effortlessly he worked at the hospital she was at prior. All in all a good watch

    You have to watch Doctor Romantic. It mostly tells about young doctors who have met the genius doctor, Kim Sabu. It has 3 seasons. I don't think it focus on love-like romance. More like, the romance of doctor's life.
    I love Love Lane out of the songs in the video

    • @SylverReacts
      @SylverReacts  7 місяців тому

      Oh so it's more primarily a medical drama? interesting!

    • @MooMooMuse
      @MooMooMuse 7 місяців тому +1

      @@SylverReacts yep. I really like this drama because the doctor Kim Sabu, despite being a great doctor, he hates the fact that healthcare system has to be more business-like(?), profitable. So, some of the young doctors who are in slump, has been 'thrown' into this hospital and found new meaning of being a doctor. :) that's how we got 3 seasons of it.

    You asked about k dramas most have songs thru out happy sad goofy heart breaking, one thing I have to say if you check you'll find the girls write sometimes for the k dramas. I found that like on the drama order it has twelve songs
