The Holy Savior Cathedral (Armenian: Սուրբ Ամենափրկիչ Վանք - Surb Amenaprkich Vank; Persian: کلیسای آمناپرکیچ - Kelisā ye Āmenāperkič), also known the Church of the Saintly Sisters, is a cathedral located in the New Julfa district of Isfahan, Iran. It is commonly referred to as the Vank (Վանք; وانک), which means "monastery" or "convent" in the Armenian language.

Не как армянские звери, они на Карабахе все постройки разрушили, выравнили с землёй. Крупные города агдам, физули, джебраил, губадлы, зенгилан, лачын, келбежар, истису, ходжалы и многие, сотни деревни исчезли. Эти звери оставили несколько мечетей, без верхушки, там держали свиньи . Вот разница, порядочные люди и люди равно на звери

I know the history of Armenians in Islamic countries and cultures. Not only Armenians but Christians of all sorts. The starting point of wars against Christianity was in the 7th century....I will not go into detail because I do not want to get embroiled , on this site, on discussions of this sort.

I visited Vank cathedral twice, and it is really worth it. I recommend everyone to also visit the small thematic museums in the church complex, as these reveal very well, in both English and Persian, the history of the Armenian Christian community and its trading links with other parts of the world, from Kanton to Amsterdam and from Venice to the Americas.
Great respect and glory to Iran which has excellently preserved the Armenian churches and other cultural heritages. Being the hearth of civilization itself, Iran has preserved the pieces of other cultures and handed thewm down from one generation to the others intact and in perfect condition. Thank you so much, Iran.

@@markrosenberg6499 Эту церковь построили по приказу шах Аббаса для армян ,которых он спас от очередной османской резни и перевёз в Исфахан. Учите историю глубже ,а то таким темпом вы все синагоги переведёте в собственность палестинцев.
@@erikart2526 Это вам следовало бы понимать,что в церквях христиан восточных обрядов не допускалась живопись на библейские сюжеты ибо это считалось неканоничным,а только иконы. Эта же церковь была построена либо же христианами латинского обряда,либо же для них. На это указывает обилие живописи на библейские сюжеты. Я какраз родился и вырос там,где примерно поровну православных и католиков и такие отличия сразу же улавливаю. Может быть часть армян перешла на латинский обряд,как это случилось в Осман.империи,но там это привело к кошмарным последствиям-перешедших на католицизм армян свои же армяне-монофизиты убивали,травили,изгоняли,сжигали дома. Я однозначно считаю,что это не армянская церковь,а католический костел. А тебе бы посоветовал получше изучать историю,а о судьбе синагог в Израиле позаботятся другие,там есть кому.

@@erikart2526 Пример Софийского собора,который был построен при Юстиниане,некорректен,потому что христианство разделилось на восточную ветвь и латинскую через примерно 500 лет после строительства собора. И да,уже в эпоху Юстиниана западное и восточное христианство заметно отличались друг от друга. А в эпоху шаха Аббаса никаких случайностей и исключений быть не могло:если строили костел,то это и был костел;если строили восточную церковь,то она и была церковью. В 17-ом веке в Иране с разрешения властей была открыта католическая духовная семинария,по моему в Исфахане. В то же время в Османской империи власти разрешили деятельность некоторых католических монашеских орденов. Власти Ирана и Осман.империи были достаточно веротерпимы в отличие от армянской монофизитской секты. Даже сейчас армянские попы носят какое-то подобие черных мешков. Почему не придумать такой наряд,чтобы людей не отпугивать? Или хотят казаться святее всех святых? Да и армянским языком армянская чернь не пользовалась,в Иране они использовали фарси или тюркский,а в Османской империи-тюркский язык. Армянским языком пользовались только армянские попы,даже не все мелики знали армянский.

تو زبان ارمنی وانک به معنی صومعه هست (جایی که راهب و راهبه ها زندگی میکنن) برای همین اسمشو این گذاشتن✌️
احسنت به شما، به نظرم حتما یه سفر به اصفهان برید. حتما ویدیوهای خوبی میتونید بگیرید🙏
در اصل اسم کلیسا وانک نیست ، اسم رسمی کلیسا ( محل عبادت ) ، سورپ هووسپ آروماتاسی ( هووسپ آروماتاسی مقدس ) هست.

Армянские церкви очень мрачны. Эта церковь не похожа на армянскую. В восточных церквях не допускается живопись на библейские сюжеты,а только иконы. А в этой церкви много живописи на библейские сюжеты,поэтому она скорее всего принадлежала и строилась христианами латинского обряда. Кстати ,власти Ирана разрешили открытие первой католической духовной семинарии еще в 17-ом веке. И была она открыта по моему именно в Исфахане. В те времена и Иран , и Османская империя были довольно веротерпимыми странами. Власти Османской империи в то время разрешали деятельность различных католических монашеских орденов на своей территории.

Part of the wall paintings in Vank cathedral were made by a Dutch painter in the 17th century, just like one wall painting in the imperial palace at the meydan. Other paintings betray Italian influences. At the time, Armenian traders from Isfahan had a strong commercial presence in Venice, where they dominated the gems and diamonds trade, and in Amsterdam, from where they imported the big printing press that can be seen in one of the Vank museums. It was the first press in Iran.

I found this channel and I love it. Persia today Iran is a Muslim republic but there a Christian cathedral and in Turkey 🇹🇷 is a secular republic and Erdogan converted in a mosque 🕌. Who is more secular.
That’s because Turks came there through warfare versus Persia’s tolerance attracted millions of Jews and Christians throughout the years and in fact in ancient times played part in the development of those religions.
This Church represent Humanity not the blood of the nation.
