Just wish GM fixed its quality control issues, it even had a stop sale on the canyons and colorados recently
Man, I keep watching videos about the bison with great anticipation. I put an order down for one back in January and there still no update on production. News says the bison is currently facing a complete constraint. Every time I watch one of these videos I want the bison more and more, especially this nitro yellow bison. I mean its how I have my order optioned too. Its literally my dream truck; I always wanted a gen3 Tacoma... with 35s, rock rails, full steel front, rear and underbody, even with the spare moved out from under where it always rusts. But I tell you what that gen4 Taco is kinda ugly and it too has a 4 cylinder. So GM had the perfect answer for me, is 65k or you know 88k CAD expensive? I'm sure upgrading a gen3 Taco to this level would cost the same and it isn't factory. So I'm ready GM, just build me the god dam truck already!
I couldn’t imagine buying a $65,000+ mid size truck right now. I would 100% wait until Rams RHO comes out. It is literally a TRX with a smaller engine but still significantly more power than a midsize truck has all while getting a full size truck with a crew cab🤷♂️ Now, if you’re getting a lower trim in the $30-$40k range then midsize is the way to go but these top trims pricing are ridiculous right now.
I really like this truck. I have a 23 Tundra 1794 TRD Offroad. Lifted with 35s. I love that truck but its huge and gets 13.8mpg on average. The ZR2 Bison gives me something to think about. That or go EV an get a 2025 refreshed R1T.

I’m so surprised that didn’t have an option or include the GM back up mirror cam on this. It’s been around for years. Yet didn’t opt to put it in on the highest option midsize truck lol
Truck is great except for two big mistakes: Engine is severely underpowered. Having 310 hp and 430 lbs of torque sounds good until you start driving this truck. It feels heavy and slow, and it simply needs more power. Moreover, the wheels are ugly af. Chevy has somehow made a brand new truck look dated using those ugly wheels. At least this is fixable, unlike the underpowered engine. However, the inside is excellent and the layout is fantastic.
And tunes will be available soon that’s a forsure plus this is a expedition vehicle not a Baja unlike the ranger raptor if that’s what you were comparing to
