Replaying fallen order. The inquisitor's chasing cal are a well equipped squadron. Reaper and interceptors at least, all they need is a imperial raider.
Now see, I have a big issue with the technology in Fallen Order. It's stated to be five years after Order 66. Rebels takes place 5-2ish years BEFORE the Battle of Yavin. And yet, we see some extremely sophisticated equipment in the Empire's arsenal, namely AT-STs (even though the Empire doesn't have them in Rebels AND they have older model AT-ATs) and TIE Interceptors, which I'm pretty sure were created much closer to the Original Trilogy's time than shortly after the Purge. I kinda have issue with the Reaper being there, but given that it was shielded, and, frankly, competent, I would be willing to ignore that one as Tarkin not getting as much a say yet.

@@BogeyTheBear Dang it! How did I forget that one?! I have temporarily suspended my "dude card".
You should do space dandy
I like this design, but I always felt it was under armed for some reason, especially when compared to the LAATs used by the Republic. With the U-Wing it is more understandable since it is a Rebel design and pretty much an ad hoc creation to give the Rebels something to fight in aerial/ground warfare. The Reaper could carry more, than just a couple laser cannons (LAATs were littered with guns). Perhaps we never had a chance to see it in Rogue One in full action besides dumping troops.
Rogue One gave us so many new and amazing ships.
Makes me wonder how did they get the script approved by K.K..
Oh thats right, the Kantness speaches.
Reaper is the third coolest tie i like the striker and defender elite the best
A hyperdrive enabled crew transport ship just feels like it's asking for imperial deserters to steal it
It also looks better then the TIE Shuttle.
¿Where did you get the video of the RP?
Can you do the adamant frigate or arachne cruiser from battlestar galactica deadlock please?
Could you do one on the crossfield class spearhead science ship from Star Trek discovery
Christmas came early.
How would the X-Wing perform against the Starfury?
Also would like to see Viper against Rapier (Wing Commander)
probably makes for a great lego set
What does "fighter support" mean within the actual story? You don't think the reaper and U-wing are flying around shooting magical ship healing missiles? I'm sorry, I understand why it's a thing in Squadrons, it makes sense and fits well within the game, but I don't think we should consider it cannon.
They do mention scanners, sensor jammers, and resupplying.
@@UGNAvalon so EW and AWACS craft - as for resupply I would be cautious mostly due to size of craft and fact that it was not designed to be dedicated transport/refuelling shuttle and just say it was for the purpose of game
@@UGNAvalon Scanners and sensor jammers make sense for a long range patrol/scout craft, but I still don't see it being part of a fighter squadron. Neither the reaper nor the U-wing look large enough to hold much spare fuel or ordinance, and besides that, how exactly does it get fuel into the tanks or new ordinance into the torpedo tubes of fighters in mid-flight? Again, just doesn't make sense to me outside the game.
At one point he called it a tiepear 👍
@Spacedock I know you think the U-Wing is probably the greatest contribution Disney has made to the Star Wars franchise from a spaceship perspective, so I'm just wondering what your personal thoughts on both the Reaper and Striker are.
Question for everyone interested: Where do you think are the Heavy Proton Torpedo Tubes on the Venator Class Star Destoyers?
Wild how all the new designs In the game are from rouge one.
The TIE fighters and bombers should have been designed similar to the Reaper but smaller. Way better design overall
The new Imperial landing craft in The Mandalorian look they could be derivative of these.
@@heroicaknight4735 yeah fallen order did screw up the chronology a bit
I love Imperial designs, they show more imagination than the Rebels.
