I'm American so some of it is a little hard for me to follow but it sounds really cool though. Better than this mumble rap fad that's gaining ground in the states lol. McCroy sounds like a Scottish version of Eminem. Pretty awesome. I like hearing rappers that aren't American. It's a very unique sound that you don't really hear in the states. I didn't even know Scotland had a rap scene.

Yeah I’m also American and I remember when I first started immersing myself in Scottish rap on UA-cam, I was kind of seeing Eminem edges in several artists (Gasp, especially) but don’t worry, it’s just a phase. These guys are unique and this scene is focused locally, don’t need American referents (IMHO). I’m new to McRoy but he appears to me to be quicker, sharper, more enigmatic and deeper into brutality than his Detroit Majesty the “rap god.” And tongue-twistessimal to the n’th degree! Yeah I’ve been a ridiculous fan of Scottish rap offerings and scene(s) since 2015 and forever will be! Reminds me of the punk scene in Berkeley circa 1989 (so many caveats there, though). Keep dropping bars, y’all!
