Preparing For a Ranch Horse Show

Jessie, my 21-year-old Foundation Quarter Horse mare, and I are going to do a local ranch riding show. We will compete in Ranch Reining, Ranch Riding, Rail, and Trail.
Jessie has had some soundness issues and I've been bringing her back slowly. We did one show in September and, while we didn't score particularly well, she had very little soreness. It's a real balance between how much to train on her and not over-working her.
