Eiji Oue is one of the most outstanding conductors among the many students who studied under Bernstein, and he was highly trusted by Bernstein.
At the first PMF Music Festival in 1990, he performed as a substitute for the ill Bernstein.
After Bernstein's death, his family gave him the baton and jacket that Bernstein used in his final concert as a keepsake.
Amazing, all of the foreign conductors who studied under Bernstein are exceptional interpreters of American music.
Really beautiful performance. I think Leonard Bernstein would have smiled on hearing this. Thank you so much.
Our pleasure! Thank you for watching! 😊
He got them to sound American, bravo Maestro Oue
Vielen Dank!
Absolutely, Lenny would love this performance.
Happy to hear that! 😉
Wunderbares Orchester!
Vielen lieben Dank! 🎶🤩
Our. I have never seen such a dead interpretation of the play. Sorry to those who liked it, but if you thought this was incredible, listen to Dudamel with Simon Bolívar or Leonard Bernstein himself conducting, and see what happens.
