The Iowa Hawkeyes defeated Minnesota, 94-71, at Carver-Hawkeye Arena during Alumni Day on Saturday, improving their record to 13-1 and 2-0 in conference play.

Caitlin Clark: 35 pts (8 threes), 10 assists, 5 rebounds, 2 blocks, 2 steals.
Hanna Stuelke: 19 pts, 8 rebounds, 1 assist.
Kate Martin: 13 pts, 3 assists, 6 rebounds, 1 steal.

Catlin Clark is the best player in the country no one is even close
Paige B from UConn has skills too if she can stay healthy and injury free. Clark is great player but she should follow her shots more, she should know if she is going to miss it and especially if it will come back toward her…. WNBA is going to require her play better defense. Great offensively but she does lack defensively and Paige has her beat in that area. And believe me, I don’t like giving any UConn player any props being a Lady Vol fan but just making observations. Hoping IOWA is able to go all the way and win a title. They are playing better and better each game and the team is playing more cohesively. All the players are continuing to improve. Best of luck to IOWA.
She is a joy to watch and definitely one of the best female players in the country.
The Iowa players are still missing their 3 point shots because they a catching the ball, loading then shooting. They need to catch the ball already loaded to shoot.
Just announce the game and stop gushing the overdone superlatives. Geez!
