- A couple of people asked us to share how to meditate on the Rosary.
In this video we go very deep in making the Rosary come alive, and have GREAT meaning.
We give tips on how to use our imagination in the way God intended, rather than selling them out to the foibles of the evil one.

I pray the rosary every day. I have a lot of trouble concentrating. I have Parkinson's and dementia. Please pray for me so I could concentrate on the mysteries. Thank you.
Keep trying to pray the rosary as per normal, but now when you encounter difficulty or feel stress or frustration, dedicate that difficulty to God. The stress you feel is essentially a form of suffering, and so can be offerred up. Doing this might actually make your prayer more meritorious than it would be without the suffering. Suffering, if approached in the right way, can sanctify us.

I LOVE ROSARY. My favourite Mistery Rosary is SORROWFUL, cause when I meditate on it, it shows me how big Jesus Loves for us ; giving HIMSELF to save us, He falls 3 times; HE didn't give up. On the Cross in agony HE ask HIS FATHER, our LORD to forgive us" FATHER forgive them for they didn't know what they are doing". And on HIS last breath He gives us the most precious gift, HIS BELOVED MOTHER MARY . " behold this is your MOTHER, WOMAN this is YOUR son. and still more to be discover on all the 20 decades. Saying the Our Father and Hail Mary prayers very slowly with my eyes closed has helped me tremendously to meditate on the mysteries. Also in the Hail Mary, when you say the Holy name of Jesus, I pause and say something to remind me of the mystery: Hail Mary, Full of Grace, The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus, who was scourged at the pillar for us, Holy Mary, Mother of God.........
We were in Jerusalem & Bethlehem in 27 March 2023. We saw Garden of Gethsamene.

I pray for the conversion of sinners the poor souls in purgatory and my family my country and the suffering of people in this world
I can second the rosary for overcoming mortal sin. Along with striving for humility.

Don't give up and continue praying the rosary. Almost 2 yrs ago my son told me he no longer believed in God. I started praying every day and Glory to God he came back to Mass this past spring and last night attended the First Friday devotion. God is great! May our blessed Mother Mary stir a yearning in your daughters heart for peace in God 🙏

Children need daily Holy Sacraments, weekly confessions formation habits praying Holy Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet leading the Mysteries and fruits in front of Jesus in Adoration as Priest's hear confessions.
Annually visit cloistered orders and seminaries throughout the world 🇻🇦🌎✝️discerning vocations and Divine Office app all included ❤️
I love these dear nuns for their down-to-earth honesty and the way they address real-life issues for their fellow men.

Imagining images such as the stations of the cross helps- in any Catholic church, or of the crib. The images from the Angelus and from the Bible. Some beautiful images of the angel visiting Mary and of the Visitation.

I pray the rosary everyday but i admit sometimes it becomes mechanical and sometimes my mind is elsewhere...most of the time i would listen to a rosary prayer with meditation and I pray with it ,that helps..but thank you for your sharing,we should really medidate onnthe rosary and not just reciting it.. Thank you both Sisters. I’m committed to saying the rosary everyday. I do place myself there, but I always dread Tuesdays & Fridays due to the Sorrowful mysteries. I have a hard time getting to the Cross. It’s hard to make the journey up that hill. But how I get through it is reliving the scene from The Passion of Christ when Mary is following the crowd as JESUS was carrying the cross & her fierce gaze as satan was on the other side of the roadway & he knows she sees him. I am one of the women whose very being is sickened to be making that journey along with Jesus & I’m aware that satan knows I see him too. But it is so difficult to get through the nailing. JESUS, have mercy on us all. I love YOU JESUS . And I love you Sisters❤️. GOD BLESS YOUR MINISTRY ✝️💟🛐
Me too. A lot of times I cry during the sorrowful mysteries. Also, during the 7 sorrows of Mary chaplet.

I hear you on that one - sometimes it's great and sometimes i'm wondering when it will be over with 😁. Changes do happen though when you look at it retrospectively.
When I get off track while praying the rosary, I will close my eyes and picture myself on my knees in the presence of Mary placing a rose at her feet while reciting. This typically gets my mind back on to the respective mystery. I’m not ashamed to say this happens quite often.

Sisters only my rosary can save my soul,I always imagine Blessed is thy fruit among all women ,u can imagine the world the universe was in her womb. Blessed is my Mama ,his blood is sprinkled over the full world.

My wife and I praying the Holy Rosary every day while keep an eye on our 8 month old son at the same time.
It’s very difficult but we try our best to meditate it. Lots of distractions but we try to manage it.
There are different seasons in life. And depending on ones vocation and responsibilities, will determine how one is able to pray. St. Francis de Sales shares about this in "Introduction to the Devout Life".
the best gift my mother ever gave me was to teach me how to say the rosary. When I was young I was in church with her and I didn't have my rosary and I panicked. My mom said well you have 10 fingers right? So even now I count on my fingers and I con say the rosary anytime. Thanks Mom for the gift!!

Spent the large portion of my life with ptsd, always looking over my shoulder.I pray the the rosary everyday and many days feeling broken, busted, and hard to focus. I pray that i never give up the daily rosary and always give Jesus and Mary control. When i do this the blessings come.

I started listening to Bishop Robert Barron on You Tube. He has a beautiful set of videos on the Rosary and describes each of the mysteries with wonderful art work. If you have trouble imagining the different mysteries, try praying with his videos, and it can help!

The Hallow App. is wonderful for praying the Rosary.
You can choose the speed...backround sound and volume, like Gregorian music...male/female recitation...you can choose particular people like Johnathan Roomey, Fr. Mike Schmitz, Dr. Scott Hahn, etc...
The Hallow App. Is also helpful for many other prayers..lent..reading the Bible..religious content..etc...

When praying the rosary for example:
Joyful Mysteries:
1.Annunciation (pray and meditate for humility. To be the opposite of pride)
2. Visitation (pray and meditate on charitable acts. Be there for thy neighbor)
3. Nativity (pray for understanding of poverty and detachment from the world. I always like to think of the verse where it says in the bible somewhere along the lines, “naked I came into this world. Naked I shall return”
4. Presentation (Pray and meditate on obedience. the same way Mary and Joseph did as the laws of Moses that were given to him by God say when having a first born male to consecrate him to the lord first.
5.Finding in the temple (meditate and pray for Wisdom from the Devine one. Also reminds us of religion in the church)
It’s only a prayer when you ask. So that’s why I meditate on Jesus’ life. Nevertheless, at the same time pray for his virtues

Thank you sisters. Truly you can get better at praying the rosary with time if you persevere, it's a grace we can pray for. I sometimes ask Mother Mary to hide me in her immaculate heart before I start the rosary.
Tq Sisters for this video. Now I pray the holy Rosary with more care. I ask our Blessed Mother to guide me and the most amazing thing is I actually find myself smiling at the end. Sisters thank you for mentioning about the rosary being said so quickly. I am fortunate to have a copy of St John Paul 11's Theology of the Body rosary book. I got it off the shelf today for praying the rosary. That one I find helpful. This is a wonderful talk.

So beautiful my sisters ❤ saying the rosary in the Divine Will outside of time is so amazing 🙏🏼❤️For instance, I meditate on Sorrowful Mystery of Agony in Garden and I’m the Angel consoling Jesus. It’s so different then just checking the rosary off my to do list 🙏🏼
I've never been able to coordinate the part of my mind that can recall a Gospel scene with the part of my mind which remembers words in sequence. When we come to the reflection, I'm present. But that image evaporates as I begin the Our Father. Do I have a weak 'minds eye' or do other folks struggle to keep those parts of the brain working simultaneously?

Wonderful interpretations of the Rosary. Please do many more on this. I only started praying it when I returned to the Church in 2017. I use many English UA-cam versions to say the Aves FOR me as I think about the Mysteries, I do this way because I have no ability to do both
simultaneously, giving EQUAL attention to Aves and Ignatian/Teresian meditation. If I try both, I feel that I am ignoring the meaning of the words of each Ave and thus dishonoring our Lady.
Please know that in praying the Rosary there is not an expectation that we must consciously say the HAIL Marys. It can be a type of background mantra to encapsulate our meditation in our Mother's presence and Intercession.

I heard if you find yourself drifting during the Rosary, ask St. Michael and your Guardian Angel to pull you back. That’s what I do. Also, praying with the Hallow App using the Scriptural Rosary will also keep you focused. God Bless you all!! 🙏🏽✝️♥️🕊

Bit of day dreamer . My misfortune became a great grace praying the rosary. Just when l used to day dream as a child. Mediating on the misterys. Like a child of god. Thankyou ladys that was beautiful ❤❤❤❤❤
My hardest issue is imagining the mysteries while reciting the Hail Marys, I can’t do both at the same time, my mind wants to focus on one or the other but not both simultaneously…. So then I find my mind just wandering off 😕
We don't need to focus on Hail Mary. It can be a background chant amidst focus on the Gospel passage.

The rosary is scriptural. The sorrowful mysteries are so hard to enter into. The passion of Christ is brutal from the agony in the garden to the crucifixion is brutal, tears, tears, tears. It's extremely difficult to see Jesus' suffering. Christ is Risen is what enables me to go through the passion. Only with Mary, the mother of Jesus could John and Mary Magdalene go to the Cross.

I pray the Rosary daily. Lectio divina - I just don't get it! How does one inject so-called realities, created by sheer imagination, into Scriptural scenes, then deduce "truths" from them for one's daily practical living? It feels like a psychological placebo for consolation and comfort. I have tried. Mechanical or not, "body without a soul" or not, I use prayer books with meditations for each mystery.
One must meditate on the Scripture which is Truth.
Need prayers for the right diocese ✝️Exorcist to complete exorcisms to move to 🇺🇸 and VATICAN 🇻🇦OVERSIGHT of exorcisms ensure completed with signatures of Bishops, Exorcists, doctors, exams include in medical books 📚 protocol physical psychological exams signatures to send local ordinance for approval to expedite relief of symptoms, send to Vatican 🇻🇦
Establish 🇻🇦 medical association for exorcisms trained Vatican Course on Exorcisms annually and for students called to doctors, phds, psyds foreign exchange students to formal teachings called to do exams for exorcisms
The rosary is too wordy and particular for many people to use for contemplation.
