Boomer is extremely well behaved for a puppy. I had a rat terrier for 15 years and she was a great companion. She passed 2 weeks ago and i do miss her.
My avatar is our cat 🐈 😻 Sahaira. She was near 18 and we had to send over the rainbow 🌈 Bridge last Dec 09th. My wife and I took it real hard. When you lose a pet, it is so hard. I cried quite a bit for weeks after our kitty was gone. We miss her so much.

So sorry for that. It's a friendship sorely missed. But you'll get through with time and with another K9 friend. Its why my K9s always have a family to leave behind.

Hi...now your name is: Lone Wolf but not Alone anymore. I love and learn a lot with your adventure at the forest. This year at my 67 y.o. I prepared everything, from buying a nice sleepbag, bed, Tent, stove , etc etc, I sat up for 4 days online to a Provincial Park where we wanted stay. We made a nice camping with my grandchildren. I was expected to do it many years ago but never did. As soon as watched you here I fallowed the whole winter. Love that tarp. My favorite thing about your videos (unlike others), is that you don't have a selfie stick in your face all of the time. People want to see the camping experience more than close-ups of the camper. Great video!

Great video. Id add a small step ladder to make it easier getting in and out of truck bed. A friend of mine had one for his ranch truck and I laughed until I bought one for my truck. Hahaha. And it great for checking engine fluids, reaching upper tree branches. Multi-use. Awesome tacticool dog harness! You can lower Boomer by rope outside in the middle of the night to pee without ever getting out of bed.

Boomer is a great addition to your pack, he is such a sweet boy. Also, the camping location is excellent.
I have the exact replica of your dog, in breed and looks. I got him at 10 weeks old, he is now 4 and a half. Being mostly JR, they are pretty hard to train. They have their own minds and will, and if they don't want to do it, then they wont. Milo is great now, but it took 3 years to get him where he is now. He is my bicycle touring/camping dog, and my main best friend. We are never apart. Am retired so, their is virtually nowhere where he doesn't come with me. They love being treated with respect, and should never be tied up on a lead at home. They really are an inside dog. I only use leads whilst touring and camping for his safety. You will have an interesting a fantastic time with your dog. Just when you are out bush, know that if they get a SCENT, IF THEY ARE NOT ON A LEAD AT THE TIME THEY will TAKE OFF, regardless of how good your training of him is. Anyhow, another reason why I will watch your channel.

Love the battery powered chainsaw.. I went with Ryobi just over the costs of them and they were on sale but I love mine for gathering wood...so quiet compared to the gas saws I was raised with....i was amazed at how well it worked....wasn't expecting much when I bought it but it's turned out to be one of my favorite tools for car camping and yard work.........
Your dog is amazing...he never said woof even once. I think he loves you. Your Sierra has a serious lift. I would need a step to get into that thing. The tent is pretty nifty as well. I am glad you can give Boomer a good home.

I'm glad you got a new puppy bud! I got one too! I bought a Pure Bred Airedale Terrier female I picked up in Northern Ontario...she is from Thunderbay orriginally and is 7 months old too...she was born Feb 6th, so she's still learning but she's going to be big...she may turn out to be a 100lb dog which isn't typical of the breed but there were show dogs and working dogs bred up there and she was bred for working judging by the size of her.....normally they're around 50 to 70 lbs but she's going to get big judging by how she's growing.....puppy's are so much fun and I was just thinking as I started your video I have to get her started on camping young so she enjoys it......and knows how to do it...so far she has been a trucking dog and knows her way around the inside of a big rig well and inside the house at home but time to move on to camping and possibly kayaking with her to get her started on that...might need a canoe juding by the weight of her or a tow boat to drag her along behind the kayak with her size...we'll see....

I love both setups
In bear country you’re gonna need a portable electric fence. There’s a compact model out there, weighs less than 2 and a half pounds. But keep your pup away from it because it’s powerful enough to put a griz on its ass. Nice set up.
