So here’s the mystery with Carti Jon. Hip hop was and will always be about the teenagers and what they like. Back then the best skillful rappers were deemed cool. Over the years via Wayne,Kanye,Travis, it evolved to where the youth determined that the coolest ARTIST was the most influential in “the culture/hip hop”. So basically his music is the purest form of hip hop. (As crazy as that might sound to older people lol) I’m 27 and I studied the trends in hip hop in college for independent study lol😂

I can understand anyone who thinks that this is trash but I don´t know, I really just love it. Jon, idk if its just me seeing this, im 23 i used to listen to metal and rock alot and everything u say about carti and mocking him for his music and lyrics, but when i listend to rock and metal i never could catch the lyrics first time and their lyrics are so mundane, i feel that what carti has done to rap is the same as what metal bands did for rock, its the vibe and the energy and the beats n melodies... dont take it as rap take it as smtg new to u have an open mind
