My shadow rap yellow perch only has two sets of treble hooks.... Are the shadow rap deep out yet? I bought mine at gander mtn and they had a huge new display of shadow raps but unfortunately they were all shallow versions, every single one of them out of giant display too......
can you tell us why the shadow raps keep cracking and filling up with water? it seems like they have a "weak spot". I own the shadow rap and the shadow rap shad both deep. none of them broke yet but I did hear something that sounded like a crack. please fix this issue.
+goga56 +bassmankam I have both the shadow rap and the Megabass 110. I think the shadow rap actually has better side to side movement than the 110. Both suspend amazing. 110 cast further. I've caught more fish on the shadow rap then 110 but I pull out the shadow rap way more often b/c at $10, I'm not as afraid to lose it as compared to the 110. Honestly, buying two Shadow Raps is a better deal then buying one 110.
We have a few more weeks until Spring starts and I'll be new to using jerkbaits. I heard early Spring is a great time to use them. This is only one of the few kinds of jerkbaits I saw listed in the top 10. I really wanna catch some trophy bass and any other kinds of jerkbaits that anybody knows about, please let me know.
Seth Winters I have three of these lures after using the first one I bought I was impressed enough to buy another 2 I usually go for the more natural colours when it comes to these baits
Yeah I bought some new lures online. One called the X Rap. The color is very realistic. Another one called the Husky Jerk. The rest are light swim bait lures. I'll be going to the lake tomorrow. Been having very nice warm weather lately. It's been cooling down a little bit, but not much. Basically it's all Spring weather down here in the state of Georgia.
Seth Winters Ontario, it’s been warm a few weeks but the weather is unpredictable so I give er take it a month or two before the lakes are thawed maybe sooner than that if it stays this warm
I want to say or retract the part where I call these pros names. It's not my job to judge them. I just want to tell it how I the lure works....I wish that in the future, they don't overly hype something that isn't so........
On January 27th Rapala uploaded a video on how to spool a bait caster and they did a knot joining mono and braid, and they used no lube to lure the line before they joined the knot...... Why would that be....if Rapala could comment back that would be appreciated.

takes too much effort to be worth it. jeez you can't wear yourself out jerking these things for 1 or 2 bites. I'm talking all jerkbaits not just Rapala. I actually like these baits. Would rather use them than a $25 JDM Megabass.
walks like a jerkbait--sounds like jerkbait--must be a jerkbait. Probably as good as any but im not convinced better---at least from from advertisement, didnt see it do anything a megavision 110 doesnt do.

beautiful! another great lure from Rapala! I almost feel like these are more work of art than an all-purpose jerk-bait!
I just caught a dozen 2 pound plus crappies on one if these had boys and several spotted bass.
I was fishing with this at lake powell and on the second cast I caught an 8 pound largemouth! Thanks for the great lure rapala

i catch more giant crappie on this lure than bass! biggest slab crappie out the lake will be caught on shadow rap

There are several differences between this and the x rap including the action and the fact that the x rap is suspending not slow sink
