Fitting aftermarket seats (t4)

Fancied having a change and updating my tired old seats. Bought these Mark 5 Golf seats, had to make a bracket out of some random metal but got them to sit perfectly

In Germany you would go into jail if you would use that thin aluminum for the Seat adapter 😁👍

i would suggest some propper rigid 4mil metal corners either side from bottom, weld or screw on.
the seat will fly in case of accident ahead if not 200% strong fitted, you have passanger or your self via seat belt strapped to it... i hope you get what i mean.
also thinking of swapping mine seats - will look for sharan 2002 heated, swirvel, recaro type seats...

Marti LPG I have changed the metal since this video and got stronger, thicker in place, this was just what I had about and used as a test.
Mine are heated just haven't got around to wiring them up yet.

Yer strait in which was handy but if yours don't its a very easy swap just one bolt on each seat and you can put the t4 buckle onto your seat 🤙

Spray those torques with wd40 mate
