This is a rewatch of multiple times for me, a masterpiece which comes out shining post disection. It has a very different kind of FL, one full of sassiness and bravery which I think a lot of viewers have missed. FL is a porcupine always with her spikes fully extended ready to strike at any sign of threat no matter to her physical being, mental health or heart. Antagonising and always ready to fully charge is her self-protection mechanism, and these are exactly the traits which made her irresistible to the ML. FL had a lot of physical and emotional traumas to bear for which people purposely overlook because of her hard outer shell and for which she never received any assistance for. For years whenever she was attacked FL would slinker away to lick her own wounds and then come back in full zena mode to avenge herself. FL is a force to be reckoned with and her stepmother and stepsis (sfl) are fearful of her even as they try to sabotage her but they are also cowards who don't dare to take any big actions hence we are blessed with no reapeated kidnappings, just one near the end as a catalyst for FL to recognise her true feelings. The worst villain in this story is FL's father who sees everything but decides to chose wilful blindness because of his dislike for FL's mother. He holds figurative and literal whip which he does not hesitate to swing. The ML was also great, we watch as he's first hung-up on her because of their one-night-stand, then becoming more fascinated with her as he slowly peels back her many layers to see the real her, to understand why she does what she does and to love her because of all that, her bravery to survive all the unfairness in the world that has been heaped upon her by those closest to her and society. The mistaken identity in here is forgivable because ML was lied to by both FL and SFL, and the ML was constantly trying to prove his saviour was the FL because he so wanted it to be her. FL didn't want ML to be burdened by the fact the he was the direct reason her aspirations of becoming a professional cellist was destroyed which was a major contributor in her misery and misfortunes of the last 5 years before their reunion. However, for all the mistaken identity the ML never mistreated or abused FL, his head told him he should love sfl because she was his saviour but at every turn he sacrificed sfl to protect FL, the sfl never won a single battle in this 2 1/2 hrs of drama, in fact FL'S entire family was strung and quartered from start to finish. FL would retaliate for any punishment any slight she received, and the ML would also avenge her even against sfl. ML could not help but gravitate towards Fl seeking her out at every turn and when he's forced to chose either fl and sfl in a direct face-off he will always chose FL even if it means ruining sfl's reputation or upsetting her. ML never participated or condoned any actions from sfl that could cause fl to misunderstand their relationship, he continuously profess his care and love for fl, he'd run to her when he hears she's in trouble or at the club calling male hosts 😂, and he wouldn't even abandon her at the hotel by herself when sfl called him for help because fl pretended to faint to keep him there, even if he knew it was a ploy. I've said a lot as I really love this style of pampering, the one torturing everybody including the ml is the fl but he always forgives her and comes back for more because he can't help himself. It also helps that the leads have great chemistry and are great looking. This is on my fav drama list for rewatch. 10/10. P.s this version cut out quite a few good bits and the translation's also off.

Drama drags because of the twisted amnesia/night blindness trope. Even with that watching the SFL fall out of favor and ML gradually fall for the FL is good. Have to follow closely to realize his older brother’s heart is transplanted in him. She realizes the bittersweetness that he might not live to old age
I have to confess that I only watched about 15 minutes of the beginning and then fast forwarded to the the last 20 minutes. I get tired of too many antagonists and protagonists only to get about ten minutes of them coming together.
I have no sympathy for the female lead because she have no backbone in standing up for herself against the ones who bully her for almost her entire life and who they hired to physically hurt her but when it comes to the male lead then those so call backbone she have to stand up to the male lead and even attempt to hurt or kill him with her car.
Plot: fl saves ml but due to various reasons he thinks it was 2fl. They meet again and it takes a long time before he identity is revealed. Personally, I'm fed up with dramas who takes ages and play the wrong person acknowledged.
Surprisingly i really like the story. The two leads are not my big fan and i am impressed by their performances. They really pull this off with their chemistry. The downsize of the female lead os her confession to him at the end. Emotions at time were forced and not convincing. 😅
in drama this rich man really serious about marring their savior even they love someone else😂 in normal people they only grateful and thankful about their savior they not need give any money or compensation or marriage😅😂
50:30 makes no sense. The kidnapper has no reason to lie, or actually forget but be so adamant that he is picking the right person. Did FLs sister and her mom magically find the kidnappers first and pay them for the off chance they get caught to say it was the sister and not the FL? lol
But eh everyone in this drama are a good looking except for the bad sisters friend. -sorry- but her eyes makeup , did she think that she is Cleopatra ':) , anyway I hate misunderstanding dramas but cuz their characters i watched ,
