Imo food should only stack to like 4 at most. Stacking is nice for reducing inventory space but food in Beta is OP as opposed to the tedious hunger system of prerelease/modern so I think that 16 is too much.
I agree, I like the regen effect that food gives but 16 feels like way too much. I feel each food should have it's own max stack size based on the effectiveness of the food. I don't think porkchops should stack at all but maybe make things like apples and cookies stack to 16 and bread stack to 4.

Food mechanics is what I liked about minecrat beta the most. Adding the regen balances out the stacking and it doesn't seem so bad but I'm sure I'll have a hard time getting used to that change. I'm trying to be open-minded but I'm hella biased and it's hard lol. I'd like it as an option to choose from or gamemode maybe? Or at least something you can turn off in settings. I love some of the other features here tho. The fire containers and glass doors???? So excited for those!! and new biome is honestly so dope
I like most of the changes i think they are still going on the right direction.
Contrary to some players i do like new additions like biomes and blocks, my problem with modern is not that, it's the excessive amount of progression systems and mechanics.
I agree with you the slate texture is not good.
And the food, it feels cursed to see stackable food on beta, but since we are getting more and more blocks it helps with inventory management, they only stack to 16 witch is a good limitation. I don't see they having a negative impact on single player experience. But for PVP it will change things a little bit, I guess the new regen mechanic can balance things out, but it changes things without completely revamping the game mechanics, so i don't believe it will ruin the beta experience. But they should add a gamerule so people can revert back to non stackable foods with instant Regen. (doStackableFood or something.
The nether red tint doesn't offend me but it, should have a menu option to turn it on or off. Like most of the game mechanics revamps and other effects added.
All in all its a great direction for the game, i just hope the rope can be placed from bottom up like scaffolding on modern. It will be very handy for caves and the nether.

I love the idea of modding the old Minecraft versions. It makes you feel like you're your own little developer making official content for Minecraft. Also these additions are so good, I wish they would be added to 1.20 lol

Download the better than adventure "Update Utility" from the website below, then import it into Prism/MultiMC and run it. It will create a managed instance that you can launch.

@@rickthiccem Thanks be to God, long live your marriage. So, she is snoring. That means she breathes through her mouth in sleep: the problem isn't the sound itself, though it's annoying to sleep right next to such noise, it's that snoring is a common effect of the obstructive sleep apnea cause. It's too common to be such a killer (literally, because it reduces life span along with IQ, it makes you not feel energized when you wake up because all night you're battling with choking yourself and gasping for air)
Definitely get O.S.Apnea checked, though often there is no need, and then act accordingly to fix it. That's why I reccomended MSE, it's an orthodontic procedure that expands the upper palate and therefore gives more nasal volume along with other things.
If she has O.S.A., it means her jaws are narrow, no kidding. If she has narrow jaws, she may 'need' to get wisdom teeth removed, if she hasn't already. Wisdom teeth are foundation points, they keep the face forward so it doesn't retract into the lower airway. By expanding the upper, and then perhaps also the lower, the teeth will have enough space to not be crowded.
I said to not talk to ENTs because they're just going to give her deviated septum surgery, or turbinate reduction, and that's a temporary fix... deviated septum is caused by a high palate which is an underdeveloped upper jaw.
Look into JawHacks on YT, and raise your kids well if you have them (nose breathing, chewing though foods). You need all this because of our modern ways, soft food, smog everywhere so you mouth breathe etc. A lot of us CAN'T nose breathe because only 1/2 of a nostril works.
