@@qazzaqstan I know, I know. I was just poking a bit of fun. As @AscendedWalrus pointed out: he usually recaps each act and goes over the options and reasonings behind them.
this might be my favorite baalorlord run. i wasn't sure about the title since he usually uses very neutral descriptors for the titles of vids, but this sure delivered. thanks for the many hours of content baalorlord, you've given us many days and nights of pleasant coziness, and here's to many more!
makes sense, because usually, rather than actively trying to do 14 unblocked hits, you'd be actively trying to kill that jerk. Avocado and Snake Plant are both massive jerks.
you must have done it early on and forgotten about it. i'm so bad at this game and play so rarely that i still remember that effect from very low ascension.

This run exemplifies why Silent is my favorite character. She has three "main archetypes," but it never feels like youre too far in one direction to add elements of the other archetypes to the deck. Great run!
Holy cow I love the combination I see on the thumbnail. Love myself some crazy Shiv builds on Silent. I think my first Heart kill ever was on Silent with like 3 Blade Dances and 4 or so Accuracies on a low Ascension. A2 or A3 or something. It felt glorious. Don't remember my relics anymore, though.

The Silent had her work cut out for her this run!
Brother said "Panache" is not that good of an option and then won the entire game just because of that. It's all about the relics, fellas. All about the relics.
I can only think of 1 high roll I've had that was this good, it was the Defect run that got me to A16 or 17 which got 3 early seeks and a Bottled lightning and used a power build to kill most things on turn 1. Got to love Dead Branch. It and Snecko Eye were the 2 relics I under-valued the most for a reasonably long time.
For me it depends on which character gets it. It's hype when your iron clad, scary with silent if you don't have extra energy, useful with defect and utterly abysmal with watcher.
@@thewillofd2418 I don't think he was talking about how good the relic is. I try to avoid the relic if I can, not because it's bad, but because every dead branch ironclad run is exactly the same. When it does its thing, everything else you did with your build doesn't matter at all
Literally yesterday I watched a random run from Baalorlord channel. He was bulling his enemies with envenomed shivs with a snecko skull. What a coinsidence.
I had almost this exact same run. Had panache, letter opener relic, spinning top and Concentrate, Thousand Tiny cuts and lots of 0-cost cards. Sooo much extra damage.
it is a good combo, but baalor gave a few prerequisites for when it's not great, conditions which usually appear in act1, not having a deck that can make use of it, not having snecko skull, both
I never see a downside to gambling chip, but there can be better alternatives in some situations. Dead branch on the other hand can actually harm a small deck that is striving towards an infinite
funnily enough, I just had a ridiculous dead branch/shiv run earlier today (storm of steel was actually good, especially after i got tingsha). never had so many clutch adrenalines from dead branch before
Its so funny, I've only ever completed Ascension 20 with Silent. Shes the most fun character to play. Theres something satisfying about getting poison up and just getting to hit enemies with the "owari da" moment and end turn to watch them die
After watching the low budget spire #133 video from yesterday where the RNG just absolutely robbed him, hearing 'ok, so this is going to be one of the silly runs I see' fills me with joy.

Easiest coffee dripper of my life: proceeds to not take it for another 5 minutes
Lol I like that he did a little act 1 summary personally

He said easiest not fastest. Plus the Silent was still feeling a bit sluggish because she hadn't had coffee yet.

That was awesome.

50 minutes of playing on A20 with no damage taken through to heart, insane to do live. Would take me easy 5 - 10 runs to get close.
