- Two protesters were arrested during a four-hour statewide pro-Palestine rally in Texas on Sunday, May 19, which was held to commemorate the 76th anniversary of the Nakba, despite organizers being notified by the Texas Department of Public Safety of an unexpected closure of the Capitol grounds just days before the event.
