Sonically speaking, Morissette has the best tone in the business. She has that full, velvety fundamental tone that sounds so pleasing to the ears. Her lows have great depth and bass, and the highs have a richness and clarity that you rarely find in today's female singers (who often sound too bright and shrill, with an ordinary tone). If you pay close attention, she has this signature 2nd harmonic when she ascends to the upper range of her voice, which I think is her whistle tone blending subtly with her fundamental tone. She has a mastery of her vocal fold closures, with ease of access to a variety of tones and textures, including whistle tones. If she's not the best in her class, then who is?
No one can better Morissette IMO! There's a lot of great singers in the world, but this young lady sits above them all.
Often enough she always been compared too someone // I’d say someone should be compared too her.
Love the adult contemporary vibe of this. This is her lane to me. That tone is magical.
Very well said, I have always been amazed by the clarity, roundness, and consistency in Morissette's high tones, which, as you say, in many female artists tend to be too high-pitched and garish. in her it is rare and wonderfully unique and best of all, over the years it improves and becomes more refined.

To me this is the type of vibe Mori should be going for. Adult Contemporary/ r&b . I particularly like Undangon here. We all know she can belt like noone else in the world but she is also just a really COOL singer. Her vibe is so special and her tone is one in a million. I have said for years put Mori on a stool with a mic and keep the mix behind her voice and the camera on her face and you are SOLID GOLD!!! Can't mess it up ... right here is the proof !

One of my favorite things to do is watch reactors listen to her for the first time. :)
@@rickramirez4514 hey there. I am one of many Loud and proud fans lol Believe the gushing is warranted . She lives up to the hype. So what I'm referring to here ,was an online show run by MTV during lockdown, because they couldn't do shows in the studio. It was kind of like TRL back in the day (If you're familiar with that MTV show) there's a video countdown and guests. The host Kevan Kenny took that concept online in 2020 and Morissette was voted on the show. Each week one artist would top the countdown and Morissette topped it her first week. The show ran for about a year and she managed to be the only solo Female to top it. It was dominated more by groups and Male artists so she was an outlier. There's uploads here and there taken from the show, and a full interview of her with the host . I could link it here, but sometimes they won't let comments with links upload, so I won't include it. Just look up MTV Friday Livestteam Interview with Kevan Kenny or anything Friday Livestream Morissette. That was her intro on MTV US.

edit: okay, Mirror has weird chords on that chorus. It's little off for me. Will You Stay is so good as well as Undangon Ta Ni. Her voice is crystal clear and so well rested. Kung ganito lang sana condition ng vocal chords nya dun sa Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw (wishbus) though she did greatest even at her worst.

I love Mori and her vocals is/are the best of all the best but Demi has a new album called "Holy Fvck" and it has 16 tracks. All of those songs are metal to alternative rock and I can say that Demi has better songs especially the lyrics, but yeah Mori got the vocals, but Demi can just do Metal lol.
