Again it depends on your karma from past lives for example whether you got a happy marriage. Thirdly no one can say marriage or romantic love is the ultimate grave! Oh my lord. That's just to sad for me to think that way. Of course I can relate to you if you are talking about Buddhist believes that romantic love can bring attachments and suffering. But even Buddhist didn't preach everyone to be single or am I mistaken?
And there is no such thing as " a single elite" because are you a suggesting somehow the elites are somehow worthier than the rest of human population. If you are familiar with letting go of attachments, why would you have this distortion in thought?
