Dionne Warwick's "ODDS AND ENDS" (Rehearsal demo)

Part of the "JOURNEY THROUGH DIONNE'S DISCOGRAPHY" Tribute series. Paul and I hadn't planned on doing this demo and were just playing around with it as the tape rolled. It was hard to keep a straight face with his little comedic remarks in between my singing, and we both started getting creative at the end...all in fun. We plan on doing a more serious demo soon. For the record, this song was quite deceptively tricky to sing. You have to really take deep breaths on many of the lines. Dionne really made this sound much easier to sing than it really its!

I had to track down this song; I always loved it since 44 years ago and have been meaning to catch up with it after so long. Still beautiful, still Dionne, and still Bacharach. I am not shy in saying it brings a tear for the memories it elicits. Thanks much! p.s.: This particular rendering is very personal in capturing the mood of the heart.
