I watched your whole course on "Introduction to Formal Logic" of 40 videos. It was a great course and I thank you for creating it. My reason for learning about Logic is that I needed it for Computer Science and Programming.. Thank You and I enjoyed your style.
Hello, Thank you for commenting. Yes, please post in youku.com. If you would be so kind as to email me the links to the youku posts, I would greatly appreciate it. All the best, Mark
Your videos are awesome and help me so much! Can you please make videos for 8.6 and 8.7. Identity is super confusing!! THANK YOU, it would be very appreciated.
@24:22 Wait, I thought the universe was reduced to...42😆😆😆 Sorry folks I couldn't help it. It was just to perfect, but on serious note I'm loving these videos. They're really helping me out with the material in the book. I'm applying this coarse to a Biblical Hermeneutics class where logic and critical thinking are invaluable for finding context and meaning.
Hi Prof. Thorsby, Thank you for all the videos. I have followed all the lectures which help me aaaaaaaaa lot. But it is still difficult for me to translate ordinary language of an argument into symbolized logic sentence. Would you pls make a video about that when you have time since we all like your illustration. Many many thanks. Akira
Please continue the rest lessons pleas mark 🙏

Thank you for this wonderful series Mr. Mark Thorsby, could you recommend me a next book since this one is an "introduction" to formal logic?

Professor Thorsby do you recommend any books after you have finished basic predicate logic.

Thanks for all your videos...they r amazing. Do you have anything on predicate logic trees? I am stuck on those :(
Check out the Logic and Philosophy text. It is an excellent resource for both propositional and predicate logic trees.
