Why I can’t get pass the damn 2 nd questions they are asking to pass
After watching this video it seems like the Curri app is better for you if you have a sprinter van. I have a 24ft box truck but the offers I see then I always end up saying to myself “if I had sprinter van it’s worth it”. Now I see you on this app with a sprinter van and it looks like it’s working out. 👍🏾

Curri can't send the order the night before because they don't have the order. Most of that is contractors realizing they short materials when they get on the job. It's same day hotshot delivery
Yeah, the Curri rep I talked to told me they do have some that they know about the night before, they just don't send them out to the day of. It is something they are working on hopefully changing.

Wait wait, 2017 Corolla, you never update your vehicle on the platform? You can get orders the day before, it's up to the requester if they want the order leaving early in the morning and they put it out. I done that before.
I did update the vehicle on the platform, but it still says that there. It does send me van orders though. Hopefully they start sending more the night before!!

Because you submit and "Offer" on orders to pick up - do you get to select the terms and or $ you want to take the offer? Or why would you need to give an offer to pick up the order?
No, you don't select or give your terms. I think they do it to see how many drivers respond to that order. It then is like the 2nd people become a backup.

If Curri is going like Roadie I might pass... It's frustrating to submit for a perfect triple route and not get accepted on any of them or only getting one.
I feel the same way about Roadie. They are great orders if you get both or all 3, but they only give you 1. I end up canceling the one cause it is not worth it alone.

Thank you!! I was on the Curri waiting for like 3 months. It was crazy. You have to do a driver adjustment form after the order is complete and there is a box to check for the pallet.

I like Curri but lately they have been sending me offers that don't pay and have too many miles on them.
I think some of the offers are too low too! Depends on the order I guess. Those Rush orders get pretty good though!!

It took me a few orders to decide if I liked it. I just wish they had more orders available more often.

Hey bro .. question. Do they check your vehicle, I noticed it said for your “ 2017 Toyota Corolla “ but you are in a sprinter van, so I was wondering if you could drive another vehicle to deliver something as long as it fits inside your car?.
They don't check it. It says corolla because that is the car I listed on their app first before I got the van. It has the van now, but it never updated to say the van.

Not necessarily too new. Each app has different ages they will accept. Check their website for vehicle qualifications.

First come, but the closer you are to the pickup, I think the more likely you are to see the order. I also think your order track record plays a part.

I use a Mercedes Sprinter Van.

We definitely need to make them pay more by not accepting less. People have different profit magins cause everyones expenses are different. Some can afford to take less pay and still make a decent profit.

Definitely depends on the area! No areas are the same. In my area, I could make $1200/week pretty easily. Just depends on how many hours a day I want to work and what types of jobs I feel like doing.
@@carsandcribs But you're a 1099 self employed . So from your $1200.oo in a full week , you have to pay taxes out of that $1200.oo . Depending on what state you're in you have to pay the IRS Taxes of 27% to 35% out of the $1200.oo you made , plus your fuel , insurance and all your vehicle maintenance & repairs !! By chance are you getting compensated from CURRI for your video promoting them ? Otherwise the Money is Not all that you make it sound like !!! Plus you're a young adult so hand loading and unloading is ok for you , I guess . I'm much older and drove big-rigs with no touch loads Five year's ago and made $3.00 to $3.50 per loaded mile and $1.25 to $1.50 dead-head or empty per mile plus $15.oo per hour sitting & waiting !! I decided to sell my big-rig and retire early in my early 60's to receive my Medicare . Now with the economy or Bidenomics I'm looking to do something with my personal heavy-duty diesel pickup truck or my little gas pickup truck . So $1200.oo minus 27% 1099 IRS Taxes which is cheap , leaves me with $876.oo !!! Plus all my fuel , insurance's of vehicle & cargo which are different must have insurance or commercial hauling insurance , maintenance & repairs costs which leaves me and everyone making very little and I'm in a state that IRS takes the lowest amount of 1099 Taxes which for many increase with state taxes with the dollars I stated in this comment !!!! Whatever you make you need to bank 30% to 50% after All expenses for fuel , insurance , maintenance & repairs and after Taxes !!!!!! Or you will be living in your vehicle or van alone !!!!

There r some youtube videos on booking orders threw a load board app or aubcription . but. I belive these are delivery that are out of state probably need different insurance. May be where roadie or dispatch gets orders?
@@travisschwartz3397 It's possible that they do. I do believe you have to have commercial insurance and possibly DOT/MC for orders from load boards.
Make your own app right book loads for people charge a fee.

I just realized with these app what they don’t tell you is you have to be put on a list and wait for them to accept you, or find deliveries that suite your vehicle type, so just throwing money and time

We can’t hustle forever, the best bet is use your vehicle and shoot for contracts. Then bring on drivers to free ur time. These apps are cool but ultimately you’re not building ur brand.

Can you share advice on how to land contracts for either a 26ft box truck or a Sprinter van? You can’t make a decent pay when working with 3PL and dispatchers. It is frustrating to say the least. Thanks for any insight you can offer.
