Mr. Beck I wanted to take a moment to thank you for recording this lecture and posting it on UA-cam. I'm not a lawyer however, I am representing myself in a case that I've taken to the appellate level. Your lecture was very informative for me to assist in writing my brief even though you were speaking to a class of future lawyers. Please don't stop posting videos such as this that are open to those seeking this type of information.

That was a great demonstration, especially for those of us, dealing with this issue from a personal level.

Mr Beck thank you for this interesting lecture I am about to graduate in law in Italy and here we do not learn how to write properly , after graduaton I am going to move in Ireland and take my two years in law school as I want to practice in a common law system rather than in a civil law system . I am particulary interested in litigation as briefs and legal writing takes a leading role as also oral advocacy

    Dear Mr. Beck,
Any way you can make the material in the handout available to your viewers, perhaps in the comments?
    Enjoyed your video, thank you.

You could check the state bar website for Texas which will list him and his contact info. If you ask for a copy of his handout maybe he will send it. Respect his time as it is of great value and appeals and trials are often bottomless pits. Albeit ones that can be worked through.

Any culture or country that needs permission to appeal is not democratic.
