You can really sense the music sync in the nighttime battle, which makes it super satisfying ngl (although intensely brutal; I'm still stuck in nighttime P1)
The thing that I appreciated the most from Inferum is how their reworks are for the most part, fair while remaining remarkably challenging. Being able to see when and where the projectiles are coming is a welcome addition, especially how the start of each attack pattern is evident and very well timed, allowing for a bigger reaction time, and not punishing you by trying to predict and react to the next attack before it starts because with enough experience you will be able to recognize it.
@@billcosta Infernum SCal is wayyyyy more fair than regular Calamity SCal. All her attacks are telegraphed and you have ample time to react, unlike in Calamity. She also isn't invulnerable for 80% of the fight.

I find it funny how, despite most of the effects being blue, there are still yellow bits here and there such as some of the shockwaves, dusts and other bits. It makes the effects look kinda wonky. That being said, this was probably just added in as an afterthought, so I can't go too hard on them.
Making them all blue might not look that great actually. It could be excuse that she still retains her actual power as Sun Goddess and not Moon Goddess

Funny story: I tried recoloring the previous profaned guardian sprites into a nighttime form like providence, but it was easily rejected by all servers. I’m glad to see that they’re now a thing in the mod!

I've never even played infernum, let alone finished calamity. Despite that though, I actually think most Infernum boss fights I've seen look way more fun. Sure they're definitely doing to be more difficult, but I love challenge in games and they just feel much more... choreographed than what I've experienced in base calamity. For context I've beaten this boss in regular calamity. Maybe a bit further? I can't remember for certain.

It seems kinda whatever? the inabilty to crit is massive for every class, as that's losing a 2x modifier for that accessory, outside Summoner, whom I dont know if attack speed would even affect. It also doesnt even work on all weapons, like Rancor or other stuff, so as cool as it looks and in theory, in practice it aint nearly as broken. At least in my experince, anyway
Considering you get an average of about 60% crit chance with a mixed offense/defense build, you miss out on a 1,6x multiplier to get a 1,96x multiplier. As crit chance does’nt matter, you can focus more on pure damage instead (like menacing instead of lucky) and you get even more extra dps.
Sooo.... why with tarragon armor and full warding I take 601 damage from 3:18 but you take like 184? Even with melee it can't be that significant. Also pretty bullshit getting hit by the phase 2 spears when you're stuck in between the blue pillars of flame with nowhere to go.
4:33 This used to be the worst f**king attack in the entire history of mankind. Why? Because the Molten Bolts had completely separate s from the big meteors, making it so if you would get hit by the Molten Bolt, then you would get another hit from the meteor despite your s' only reason for being in the game is to prevent that. You would get 3/4s of your whole life get cheaply sniped. What's even better is that then you have the big lazers attack which was the second worst thing in existance since the hitboxes were extremely uncomfortable. Then the arrows that she shoots were just yet another form of cheap damage. And that was just the day version
