I have that same ole African inspired bag that I got from some type of boutique setup (if I am remembering correctly), got it like 12+ years ago but never actually used it. It has been a really hot one here in the heartland lately been over 100F degrees and it just been sucking the life out of this old girl. Glad we have a 2 day cool down before it goes back up. Have you ever thought about using the Lu Lu Ro maxi skirt as a strapless dress? The lay so well so they can work like that to and like you I love the prints. I have a maxi skirt that in the same family like skirt you thrifted here and it had adjustable waist and it look to be crafted by those of the culture and it just too beautiful for me to wear. I can't believe that school started Aug. 1 there, it ridiculous how earlier and earlier the school year starts. I enjoyed the video. And yeah I got back to doing some thrifting because it is a stress reliever/the hunt is joyful and God bless me with some extra funds. I got a few maxi pencil straight line plain skirts, I like how some influencers have been putting together looks using them. I wore one yesterday handling some busy at a temp placement for my mom and visit. It was white of nylon windbreaker material with a drawstring waist, and I put a silver metallic MIckey mouse on grey tee and my chunky Dr Martin black slide for a mostly thrifted look (except the shoes). The shells on the skirt are Cowrie shells. I just purchased a Lulu Roe Dress from Goodwill this week. I can also tell who they're by by looking at them. I have thrifted several of their pieces. It was interesting to hear the back story on the brand. Another great haul. Loved the entire haul. My favorites were the yellow dress and the Aigner bag.
Lol…. I have a two piece luggage set exactly like the Safaris bag that she bought….. mine is barely used. Guess I need to break it out the next time I travel!
