Chris, this feels like a watershed moment. It seems like Runge Cars has taken a big step forward. As long as the quality and aesthetic remains paramount, the future is worth grasping.
Your shop and the work you and Finn do is my idea of heaven. Being able to work with your son is frosting on the cake. I can't think of a better way to build lasting memories.

Thank you Steve. It has been amazing as a father and car guy to watch Fin dive in to this! Can’t wait to see where he goes with the skills he’s developing!
It's not that you're a busy fellow, but that aluminum door surround begs to have your logo embossed in it. Happy New Year. I appreciate that you shared your work.
Thanks for the belated Christmas/New Years gift! That project looks/sounds absolutely incredible. As always I continue to vicariously live through you.
So cool to see how far you've come. Your beautiful workshop is the perfect setting for these fascinating videos. I'm really excited to see your first Runge 4-cam get built. Have a happy new year Chris
Very interesting update Chris-overhead cams and fuel injection on the Polo motor. Would love to see a video of it on a dyno. Happy New Year to you and your family! Looking forward to more updates!
really exciting news packed into short video…new engine sounds very interesting! one of the characteristics of your cars that i love is the organic nature of them…they aren’t “over processed” …i hope that you are able to maintain a level of this after the refinements of the process…it appears that finn has really stepped up to the plate, and is hitting it out of the park!…of course under the eye of a fine mentorship with exception work ethic …especially looking forward to seeing the porsche build come to life… happy new year to you and family!
Fantastic builds some really innovative thinking, and I think you're exactly on the right track with all of the continuation stuff and what you're already doing
How good is it to find another Rungè update Chris, it looks like your son is shaping up to be a chip off the same log of excellence, I can imagine how proud you must be of him and for him of you. I am looking forward to more videos as soon as you are able. May you have a fantastic New Year and 2025 to follow Tony from Rural Western Australia 🇦🇺🦘
The 4-valve Polo sounds amazing. Porsche seemed unable to solve the thermal management issues with their 4-valve air cooled attempt. I recall it was about keeping sufficient cooling air around the valve guides, maybe getting the cooled oil flow there as well. How Swinden solved that problem would be a nice story to tell.

Agreed on all counts. Swindon has gone to great lengths to perfect cooling on the 4 Valve per Cyl/air cooled head. We will report on all aspects over the next couple months as ours come to life👍🏻👍🏻
Have you played around with digital sheet metal forming? Been seeing several videos about it lately.

I personally have not but have a friend who is well versed in them... sounds fascinating but still a ways to go with the technology but it is looking like it has potential!
I know these videos are a hassle when you are trying to get work done, but I could definitely stand more updates.
Happy new year to you and your family
As usual gorgeous! Good luck guys! More videos and more enthusiasts to be in artizan coach working you do!
Thanks for the update, and… I see a lot more videos worth of stuff that I REALLY WANT TO SEE!!!
Ahem. Yes, more videos would be welcome. 😊

Belated Merry Christmas Chris and Happy New year Mate. Hope 2025 is onwards and upwards for you.
Looking forward!
Damn! Absolutely fantastic stuff going on. What a great way for your son to learn, there's nothing better than making mechanical artwork.
Eventually he can call his company "Runge and Son".
That chassis is really cool. Same with the 4 cam motor.
Those new designs are exciting to look forward to.

Have you looked at the laser welders coming out of the UK? They are starting to get tracktion here in the US...
I've only seen information online about them. A friend of mine is planning to get one so I'll go take a look when he's set up!
Big moves over there, congrats!
Did my little eye spy a 917 restomod render? 🤔 😏😎 Happy New Year everyone 🎉!
There's a lot of talented people in Michigan, I'm just saying because I'm one of them.

When hit the lottery...
Have you done a jaguar E type style before?
We haven't done anything quite in that design realm. Beautiful car though!
