You prolly dont give a shit but if you guys are bored like me during the covid times you can watch pretty much all the new movies and series on Instaflixxer. I've been streaming with my girlfriend for the last couple of days :)
thanks a lot i am studying for my exams and i needed to understand the romeo and juliet acts and scenes...and the notes we got from school are in old english so they are very hard to grasp so your channel was my saving grace, thanks again
Hi I just want to say thanks 😊, i have a test today and I’ve been up all night revise for my bio test and forgot that I had an English test on Romeo and Juliet, all I can say is that theses videos have been an massive help I just enjoy the way you summarise all the scenes quickly and in an understanding way. Definitely going to continue to watch the rest !
I’m upset I have to waste my time watching this video, but this is better than waking up, leaving my house, go to school, then watch it at a computer there.
My personal note: (Summary) Romeo and Benvolio help an illiterate man, Peter, which grants them an invite to the Capulet's feast. Paris wants to marry Juliet Peter asking Romeo and Benvolio for help is a major event because it causes Romeo to attend the feast that's being held, which builds up to Romeo meeting Juliet.
Just remember that Romeo used a ton of hyperbole (exaggerations) when talking about his love for Rosaline. When a person speaks so extremely about anything, it is most likely the case that the person is exaggerating and that the topic at hand is not altogether that extreme. Romeo wasn't in love with Rosaline. He was in love with the concept of being in love. The evidence of this is simple. He meets a girl in a house party, Juliet, and without even getting to know her, he falls in love with her completely. What's more important is that he doesn't, for a second, contemplate if he should continue to love Rosaline or move on to Juliet. He literally, entirely forgets about her. If a friend starts talking to you about how amazing a slice of cheese cake was and uses all of the most extreme comparisons to convince you that this cheese cake was the most tasty cheese cake on earth, and then decides to also be equally convinced that a beef patty is the most amazing food dish on earth, simply because you put one in front of him, I'm not quite sure that you would trust anything he says. It's simple. Romeo is young, immature, overly-enthusiastic, and far too idealistic. Thought you might be in a rush so I quickly wrote this up to give you an idea of what's going on. Our analysis videos will be going up this week, and they cover all this detail. Since they're not up yet, I thought I might quickly drop a comment [ unedited though... careful =) ]
What a lifesaver, I never know if my writing is good enough for the Honors class that I am, so it takes me a while to get started. This piece of information was very helpful thank you. You just gave me confidence in writing again.
in modern terms basically paris is way older than juliet who is 13 years old. he basically tells him to wait for her to get older and to win her over instead of just giving him permission to marry his daughter right off the bat.
@@shaynesato8545 oh hhaha. That's alright. I was looking through those scenes and wondered what was so special about them. But thank you for answering my clarification :)
