Gamers are told, game is unfinished and unbalanced. Gamers buy unfinished game. Gamers complain about game beeing unfinished. The internet in a nutshell.
This is an early access, beta... I think some people think it's the early access of a full game. With some tweaks to loot and currency, many problems are solved.
"It's in EA, so don't give feedback." -You in a nutshell. EDIT: So many banned asmon chatters in here with L takes that make no sense; "Feedback is fine, unless it's the flavour of feedback I don't like, then it's crying/whining/complaining". Don't you hear yourselves?
this is a ridiculous take. the game is $30. early access games sell for significantly cheaper prices in the early access stage than in full releases. If you are buying a game for $30, (technically not buying a game but access to early access), it should be worth $30 and be functional like $30. the game did reverse strategy of industrial norm. instead of giviing discount to players for playing an unfinished game, they hyped up the game and sold access to an unfinished game.
i agree but missing loot is really a problem i was running 3 zones and got like 1 rare which was garbage. I dont want loot explosions like poe1 or diablo 4 but they could tweak a lil. bit at least
Shouldn't be re-evaluating build in the first or second act. Maybe the 3rd. As to re specing. cost is to high for early on. and drop rates are crazy low. Finally spend hour killing one boss and he drops a scroll of wisdom.
I'm 62 years old. While I am an experienced gamer, my reflexes aren't what they used to be and this game is not too hard. Difficult, yes but I enjoy a challenge.
I can't believe people are calling it hard. Same boat as you, just not as far down the river. Were people expecting D4 button mashing where the only thing that matters is your character's stats vs the mob's stats? It's not a HARD game. You just don't get given boss fights.
People are treating POE 2 like it's an expansion, not a sequel. They're also failing to realize the game is in early access. The people playing right now are essentially testing everything so the devs can fine tune any wonky interactions, scaling, etc. before the official release.
People complain about mechanics and design they find bad or ufun -> random dude on the internet "he people playing right now are essentially testing everything so the devs can fine tune any wonky interactions, scaling, etc. before the official release." .... like yeah ... @@PraxesArdenn My feed back for POE2, get rid of unfun dodge rolling, unfun support gems. Make maps fun to run not terrible mazes like all maps are in POE2
Very positive rating on Steam with a 500k concurrent player count 24h peak. I know Asmongold is just farming the drama, but this is a big stretch to say "everyone is negative".
The video is specifically talking about the POE sub-reddit. You don't want to go there. People are indeed very negative. And even the mods are super touchy. Got literally banned from telling a few people that's it's a skill issue when they can't beat a boss. Rest of the internet is happy. But that cesspool of POE elitists in the sub-reddit. Oh man, the game is everything they hate.
Stop turning everything into drama like some mindless drone. The whole purpose of EA is to finetune the game by receiving feedback Litterly everybody agrees that the currency drops were a problem. This made everything else even worse especially early game. The dodgeroll not having a push mechanic was also something everyone complained about, especially melee players. Some areas in the campaign being way to big while having to backtrack to find the exit is also bad. GGG has addressed all of these things now with their new and upcoming patch.
It's not even that difficult. You just have to play the game like an actual rpg. If you're stuck on a boss, just switch around your skills/ passives and learn the mechanics. Boom. Done.
Watching him take out that boss in a few seconds had me in disbelief. It took me 10 attempts as a Sorc to beat that boss, mainly because the vendors sold items that weren't for my class, and monsters never dropped useful loot. Dude was CHUNKING that bosses health, while i had to whittle it down.
Some deaths def feel bad, but my least favorite part so far is getting trapped at a checkpoint cuz there's a group of rares/elites standing on you the second you spawn. There should be a small area around the checkpoints where stuff can't spawn or like an aggro delay so you're not getting ambushed the second you respawn. Some areas are def worse about that than others, but it's common enough to be annoying.
@@DarioLeonRincon weird, cuz I've def gotten rushed on spawn. Maybe it's got something to do with minions? I'mma have to check and make sure I'm not the one fucking up lol. But I do have an infernal hellhound that would trigger aggro just by being near an enemy, so that could be the problem for me.
@@JackSnider9000 nah you don't xp or anything fortunately, unless you're doing maps in endgame then you'll lose the map. All the gear and stuff that dropped should still be there until the area refreshes tho which generally takes around 8-15 min if you're not in the zone or you manually refresh it.
I experienced this for the first time early this morning. Activating totems which spawn mobs and if you die to said mob, you respawn at check point with the same mobs there that jump you. And once you clear them you still need to reactivate the objective just to clear them again (or get trapped and die again.)
Today's patch addressed some of the feedback may it be negative or positive feedback, GGG listened and they increased currency drop rates, which is one step in the right direction. WP ggg

@@Viper3220 I'm playing warrior as well & it's a drag. I've always played barbs & bruiser type characters. I don't mind the difficulty but I feel the drops are too low for the difficulty of the game. Also the warrior feels way too slow with its attacks. The accuracy mechanic is unnecessary as well. I can see it being relevant for ranged character but not for a warrior who gets up close. The game is good, but I'll probably leave it when I get to the end game because I'm not into playing ranged characters & that's what is meta.
I love POE2, There is a clear distinction between “hey I need learn the mechanics of this boss and learn how to defeat them” vs “okay it’s clear I just need better equipment now”.
The fact that it's actually both makes it so good. Even with goor gear, better than you need, without thinking a bit and building knowledge about boss, you just die. And the more experience you are, the lower the gear you need up until gear check is mandatory.
@@vitali1002 Totally dissagree. It needs to be the first one. Then second one to make it somewhat easier. Where it needs toning down, is the builds, items, numbers and all the nerding over 100 builds, numbers, gear and items that makes it unnecessarily convoluted. Then the game has poor GUI aswell on top of it.
I am interested in buying it but have some questions. How long is the campaign? How's the mtx in the game? Will the early access have seasons? How long until full release?
@@TRPDKcampaign is 3 acts, each act can take around 6ish hours to complete depending on if you explore stuff or grind bosses (backtracking through a dungeon can be a bit tedious) Right now it’s $30 for EA (up to $100) which means 300-1000 points towards MTX. The only thing you’d maybe want to get is stash tabs, everything else to my knowledge is purely cosmetic. This also goes towards PoE1 I personally don’t know about seasons, I think during EA they will just be tweaking balance and working on adding the other classes and ascendancies along with their weapons. Early access is estimated to be 6-12 months.
When the guy mentioned that he hasn't done the Trial of Chaos yet, I immediately thought "Okay, this guy doesn't have nearly enough perspective on the game yet to tell people that their complaints are wrong."
Yeah he's way too opinionated about things he has no experience in. Also he talks down on people with valid problems too much, e.g. the body blocking situation.

Yeap dude is literal "d4 dad " that was stanning diablo when all the vets who already knew real state of game where called haters. This dude is doing it in POE. Now i dont think POE is in that bad of a state but it does need plenty of fixes to be playable each season.

I never played poe, this was my first one. I played a witch at first and was afk killing everything with summons. Then i tried warriors, and it was like playing a no-hit dark souls run, absolute brutality, barely survived every encounter.
@@GorehowlBeardhead Warrior has nothing to really help them until they get the Totems and bosses always outpace the Warrior, they're way too mobile for his skillset.
My summons witch had a parabolic arc. She started out feeling weak, hit her stride, and then became quite strong, and then started falling off at end game. When I remade the character in a far later season I ramped faster since I better knew what I was doing and because GGG had massively buffed the early game but still fell off late game. Now I'm pretty sure I could solve my late game issue by following a build guide, but I dont like doing that in any ARPG.
My first one as well and I was getting my ass handed to me on monk despite making it to act 2 with a friend. Gave it a rest and started a mercenary and a sorceress and sorceress is popping and feeling good for me
“Stop playing warrior” is not a helpful sentiment. Anyone with a brain wants all classes to be viable, it’s the whole point of beta testing it to begin with. To make the right changes. If warriors need a buff, then buff them. It’s that simple.
The only changes I wanted are the ability to teleport between checkpoints and higher drops on crafting stuff and they just patched both in. Amazing game just keeps getting more amazing.
Yup and they only took 3days doing it. That tells me they care. Not that I didnt know that already. Game is early access and this is the worst state the game will ever be in and its still amazing lol
Lost ark has difficult, fun and rewarding bosses. I didnt have any of those memorable encounters in act 1 or 2, so im back in poe 1 now. Maybe when ggg figures out what theyre going for, ill try again. Just felt like they were wasting my time.
i did feel at some point that it was not a fair fight but then i went back, got better equipment and a level up and it was doable within 3 tries. After that act 2 has been easy (im just a lvl 29 in act 2, not that much time to play these days), no boss has given me problems so far (at most one death per figth). I'm using a warrior btw
Unfair? No, totally do able. Just a bit much in the last 20% health when his move set goes from punishing to "Well he knicked you, try again." For a first act boss that could probably go. I don't think the first boss needs an enrage mechanic. There's only so many tools you have for survivability at that point and the possibility of that filtering a lot of players is a problem if you want new players to get into it and stay.
Asmons either a prophet or the design team contacted him: Allow to get through little shits body blocking you > patched Allow teleporting between checkpoints > patched
Never played an Exile game. I fully expected to die multiple times as a monk to Geonor. I beat him in one try without sweating it. I think what really helped me was taking my time and exploring every corner of every map and got all the loot I could to make my gear better at camp. The game is this good now, at the start of early access... imagine how good it'll be at full release!
On the one hand, there's valid concerns of drop rates in a few key areas being low meaning some players got dice fucked. Devs have to start scarce then raise drop rates, can't be dialling down the rewards (they did that once on PoE 1 and it was explosive). On the other hand, many complainers aren't detailing what they're doing while being toxic. That leaves them open to being interpreted as scrubs who can't adapt. The PoE 1 community has a lot of spoonfeeding as a lot of complexity needed outside reading. PoE 2 aims to be more self-explanatory and that exposed some players for being unable to learn on their own. Like, how many monk players thought to look at sorceress skills to complement their recommended ones? How many warriors thought to pick up a crossbow for synergy?
@@Psieye I haven't been toxic as I explained how the skillweb is fundamentally bad design, its the reason people stop playing PoE1 and they kept it for PoE2, people act like "it's good now, I promise" because they haven't had years to nerf all the builds that show up in people's recommended tab here on UA-cam "X Build is so broken" GGG nerfs every build that is OP, which nerfs all of the casual builds that used those passive points too, leading to the problem in PoE1 where making a build is more difficult. The Skill Web only works if they leave the power creep in the game, thus the reason this unbalanced "easy" skill web is "better" but the moment they start nerfing builds, is the moment it returns to the PoE1 skill web and everybody quits the game because making a build is too hard. They didn't add the ability to import builds because they don't want people to think about how few people actually interact with that thing. Because it would be an open admission that the "iconic" skill web is not used by a majority of players as they simply copy builds from other people.
@@Psieye Honestly, for most POE1 players, its a skill issue (cause they never needed to consider tactics and actual gameplay, when all they had to do was face roll a boss and spam the same single skill over and over). Only a few gameplay concerns are valid, like being able to push monsters with a dodge roll in melee, or giving dodge roll some phasing during boss fights. Every single boss in POE2 so far has been much easier than POE1 end game bosses, mechanics wise. Its just that they aren't used to not one shoting bosses and having to do the actual "play" part in gameplay. I honestly don't mind if they all never play POE2 and quit because its too hard. The game shouldn't be catered to them anyways.
@@Psieye ya I got no rares and no blessed orbs past level 4. I quite literally couldn't get better items. Let alone thinking of a second weapon to help.
@@SherrifOfNottingham Nah brother you are literally just totally uninformed, if you dont like the skill tree that much just leave. They have nerfed like 4 builds that broke the game. Johnathon also literally said they have the function to import builds in game and they plan to have it on full release. You have actually no idea what you are talking about at all.
People don't form them. Mobs are on top of each other and tons of levels have only narrow spaces. Game expects you to roll and dodge which can attract more minions. Minions have ability to raise skeletons and what not and have aoe attacks. So yeah, you get stun locked very easy by a small mob that does huge damage. It's not fun.
I agree you should. That isn't what happens with Collison though. I have a clip of an enemy placing there pot down in a doorway creating a Collison object preventing me from getting through it as a melee and the enemy sat back and shot at me while I had 0 way to get through or go around since it was the 1 access in and out of a side room I was in in act 2.I have gotten to maps and 3 characters through act 3 already. The only character that collision didn't feel super punishing and just unfair was monk because he has a teleporting attack by lvl 3. For party play the teammates can easily body block you or FORCE move you and interrupt your attacks just by them also trying to play the game. The collision is in a TERRIBLE state currently. I don't think it needs to be removed but there needs to be a way for you to be able to actually have agency and interact with it and not feel like just a victim of Game design. I think attacks that don't have knockback shouldn't force move enemies/you when the enemy collides with your model. Monk's Tempest flurry pushes enemies and allies when you aren't targeting and thus can Shift attack a spot and force move any enemy or ally. Also there should be no collision with Allies(Their created objects can still have it Ice wall and bell) And the new changes they are making to dodge roll where you can roll though small enemies and through tiny gaps should solve the issues with being surrounded without either obvious traps or creating a train.
I played through the game and into endgame as Warrior and didn’t have a problem getting cornered. Happened once or twice at the start. And I realized I was making a mistake running into packs. So I approached fights more strategically and never had a issue where I thought it was unfair. It was almost always my fault.
I play warrior stun build. Killing mobs is SO fun. Killing bosses on the other hand? Not so fun...BUT, killing a boss by rolling around and smacking it every 5 seconds makes me feel like an overpowered god trolling bosses.
No, as a hardcore gamer, these complaints from these most likely idiots, what would happen is plebs get their nerfs because they can't spend 10 minutes to learn the new movements and starts and actually get good. And then the people that complained would be making the same complaints "game to easy" But I guarantee if the people complaining actually stfu and played the game for a week they might actually realise its not that hard once their skill is up. But I have seen this shit happen to another of games iv needed out over the years
@@sdm6054 and yet GGG made these changes... again, u guys are completely crazy bro... ignore all criticism is literally the same as complain about everything, both are crazy. And GGG isn't blizz, they listen and do their own thing, like not putting phase on dodge, so i guess we can trust them a bit better...
When you invest a lot of time as a developer making an expansive skill tree with lots of choices, you do yourself a disservice by making it very hard or costly to respec. Free respecing allows for people to tinker, experiment and have a lot more fun. Alternatively you’ll just end up with people min/maxing and cookie cutter builds a lot more than just letting players have fun
yes but if you make it free it loses SOME value, should it cost as much as it does....maybe not .....but free....probably not a good idea, also it makes running meta too easy if you mess up and then are like im just gonna run meta, imstead it forces younto only make a few key changes to your nodes, also dont see why people are saying its too high, ive respeced three time comepletely cause i wanted to build more efficient paths
And gives is starting location on tree as option instead of once again locked under class... I hated this in poe1 and hate it in poe2. It would be so much more nice if I could grab mercenary and just start at witch location with my passives. That would mean the ascendacies are the only thing that matters between classes pretty much and not skill tree position also.
@ in my opinion making it free doesn’t lose any value at all. All you really do is incentivize even more people to look up builds and guides rather than give the option to AB themselves to see what they enjoy. I understand the cost will be low for beginner level progression. For a game like Diablo where you have a fraction of the choices as PoE the cost to respec would be more palatable
Honestly some controller issues, quality of life swapping between kbm and controller and the odd bug are the only issues. These games are meant to be hard, everything else so far about the game is great!
My graphics card is fried so I’ve been on console - when playing with my friends I noticed they can basically steal everything that drops since when you’re in combat with a controller you can’t interact with items whereas MnK can.
2:04 this is what the tekken players are yelling..we play tekken because we had to play for years to get good and we put that time in and now they want to "make it more accessible " but its making all the good players mad..the difficulty is what drew me to the game..I was a top 100 halo3 player i quit gaming for 8 yrs and came back and was a top 100 halo5 swat player. But hacking became so rampant in the fps space I moved to the fgc and now I'm realizing just how dumb people actually are..if they don't win 100% of the time they quit. If they have to think they quit, if they have to try the quit and yell it's TOO HARD
It doesn't have to be made "easier" but being able to zoom out a bit more and a way to deal with body blocking would be nice. Right now I feel like I'm playing at 125% zoom and getting stuck just isn't fun...
Must be getting caught in a lot of corners and surrounded quite a bit for it to be stressing you that much, but if it happened once or twice, then maybe be a bit more aware of the maps layout and direction enemies are coming from and this won't be a problem, I myself don't like this problem either but if it's happening only a handful of times then it shouldnt be that stressful, let alone there I do believe attributes in the game that lowers a players stun threshold to be stunned Mayne build a lil bit in that, I also believe until we as players are fully equipped with really good items problems like these shouldn't be changed until those top tier items are found, maybe there are ways in the game eventually that make this unfun mechanic less possible for enemies to do to you, we don't know just yet.
Completely disagree. It's a mechanic like any other. You need to understand when you encounter mobs that are likely to swarm you like the beetles, and then play around it. By the same logic of not liking body blocking, I could say that enemies shouldn't stun, slow, or cause flinch.
@@E7ernalWolf There is a big difference between the current body blocking implementation vs Stun/Slow. I don't think it's a fair comparison. That difference being the current collision for those blocking is a mess, while stun/slow all have relatively clean hit boxes. The body blocking needs some major work. Remember people were defending Soul's bad camera when fighting certain large boss at the beginning? They also claimed you need "Skill" to set the camera right and plan your movement so your view don't get blocked by the boss. Now, most people have agreed that the camera angels are just bad for certain fights and it has nothing to do with skill. I feel the same for body blocking, it needs to be done in a better way to serve it's purpose.
its the bad way of hard, Sanctum is an RNG clown fiesta, lab was atleast the same for everyone on a daily basis. Just too many random mods that can brick your run instantly. Also Sanctum inherently favours rangerd classes, who would have thought that?
the difficulty is just tedious, getting swarmed by mobs in a narrow corridor and being sent back to the checkpoint is just annoying asf. just not having phase run makes the 2 worse than the 1
POE2 is the most boring game I ever played. Only game I’ve ever refunded in my entire 38 years of gaming. Played 10 hours. Got to level 38. Never died. Dominated all content. It’s just so boring. BOOOOORRRING. Tedious. Uninspired. Easily refunded
I am also guilty of complaining about the difficulty, but I don‘t want them to just nerf the bosses etc. What I am sad/mad about is that the experimentation they promised us is very restricted. I have no problems with magic item currency, but rare item currency drops are very lacking. What I also believe is that many people are not using vendors because they need the gold for respeccing their passive tree when they made some mistakes. The respec cost is far to high right now. I talked to someone who spent like 80k gold on changing their build, the new build sucked and then they just dropped the character because its easier to just redo a new character. Also some things need to be balanced of course. Fire spells and Ignite suck atm for example.
What you yapping ? You mix fire with poison clouds and one shot everything , people are just weak for now, later on they ginna cry its too easy, gamers truly dont deserve anything, because there is no more true gamers, only complaining one brain cell idiots, that dont even read descriptions in games and cry all over internet , and then they all come together, and ruin all games
Most of the complainers haven't even realized yet that your secondary weapon can be a different type, allow you access to all of those skills, and automatically swaps itself. 99% of the people in game are locked into the assumed class weapon.
@@malyman316 If you read the OP's post very carefully, you will notice the issues he wrote about did not concern difficulty, but rather a very specific mechanic in the game concerning resource costs, and whether or not the drop rates are satisfactory.
When it comes to exprimenting and crafting PoE 2 has really not lived up to the promises of alot of currency drops and more acess to crafting your own gear. Poe 2's crafting system remind me much more about poe 1 back in 2013 which objectively war terrible. We are also missing some rather crucial currencies such as Alteration & scouring orbs which makes crafting even magic items a "slam and hope for the best" kind of a deal. Also the rune system dosent even come close to replacing the crafting bench as a way to plug any holes in your stats as it suffers from the same issues of you barely having any artificers orbs and your reluctant to use them because of that and this makes rune more of an endgame system which as far as i understand was not the intention. There is alot to love in poe2 but this part of the game im really dissapointed in and i dont think the recent buffs to currency drops is going to be enough as we are lacking to many of the key crafting currencies that we had in poe
i prefer arpg's when they drop you surprise items that make your gameplay fun, like diablo 2, torchlight 2, borderlands 1, etc. and not spending 30 mins in town re rolling stats on an item like most diablo/poe copies. Diablo 4 was like this at first, then you realize you get the same few legendaries from lvl 1 to max lvl and it gets a lot more boring.
This is my first time playing any POE besides a small go at the start of POE 1 and I found the difficulty to be spot on. Gold was absolutely in abundance opening weekend as well. That alone made it clear they wanted you to purchase from vendors. I had 25k by the middle of act 2 and realised I need to be spending it much more aggressively. Began purchasing rares and socketed items purely to farm those materials on top of what I was already getting. The changes they've made this week should be great quality of life changes though but I was def nervous for them to make things too abundant too quickly
The issue with the new labyrinth is that it isn't hard. It has a fake difficulty spike called Honour. The labyrinth itself is very easy, but the boss hits you once, you lose all honour and get kicked out losing all progress. Melee classes might not even make it to the boss before they run out of honour because just a few hits will remove all of it. This is not fun.
A "fake" difficulty spike? If its making the game harder for you that doesn't sound "fake" at all. Working as intended. Also not a new mechanic, it's the sanctum league mechanic from PoE. It's a TRIAL for a reason. You cant just potion spam your way through it, you need to get good and not get hit. All the mobs in sanctum have slow attacks with big telegraphing animations so you have plenty of time to avoid them.
I only completed it with a powerhouse monk being OVER 20 levels above the recommended ao I could use a "ranged" melee to take out mobs and burst the boss before it can do anything. Honour's sucks, the negative modifiers in trial of chaos is terrible. I don't even want to know what the 3rd trial is.
It's the same as having time trials as endgame content, it rewards perfection and not perseverance. Just unfun to a majority of players, despite what Dark Souls nolifers might say defending this game. I can get to the boss room keeping above 80% honor pretty easily, but then it becomes sweaty rolling dps check time as they spawn shit all around the arena to spew fire. I'm failing because I'm not getting an A+ with triple extra credit, I'm getting fucked for getting that A- and told to git gud
Can agree it's hard, especially since I'm a tank build. But I think it's important since it's essentially a dps check, and I would be building too much defense without it.
I'm playing as Warrior and I'm destroying people, I'm level 22 and beat the act one boss in just 4 attempts. Warrior class in my opinion is actually kinda broken, I can clear out massive waves of enemies with one bone shatter.
Yup same here. People complaining about body block? bro I dodge mob packs just so I can run past em, aggro more packs, run to a corner and splash all of em at once. That was the mines and the secret passage in act 2 though so we'll see what happens later on. Balbalba was kinda annoying cuz she damn fast but still I only died once cuz I was standing still waiting for the poison to clear the room xD.
I didn't like Warrior at first... club and shield is cheeks. But once I got a great hammer, holy hell did that change everything. I mean, having God tier gear drops definately helped too early on but still. Insane how strong they can get by comparison to say Monk or Ranger.
Since you guys are apparently 1 hitting everything and happy. They should make the game easier so other people can enjoy it. You can’t one hitting any harder so the game would be the EXACT same experience for you
I just wish a ton of skills weren't weapon locked, shit I wanna do a flicker strike build, but I'd be forced to use a quarter staff only when in Poe 1 you'd simply pop the skill as a gem directly in your gear and you're good to go all you needed was a melee weapon that's it. My family & I are playing this, I myself a poe 1 player as well as my son a poe 1 player, and it's extremely uncomfortable and very inconvenient to be stuck using 1 weapon type just to try enjoy making a particular build. We're having some fun, but it'd be a much more fulfilling experience if we had more freedom with making builds and more flexibility with theory crafting.
the intent is for your build to use two weapons. You can set it up so when you use flicker strike, you auto switch to the staff and you don't even notice. In the staff weapon set you can have something like 20 unique skill points, as well as any auras you want. It will make more sense when the 4 or 5 other weapon classes get added and we see the build possibilities. In other words, the game is unfinished. Who'dathunk
One thing I don't like about common hardcore gamer andies is that they just love gatekeeping feedback and playing unsolicited lawyers for the devs, and what's worse they do it more often than not to feed their ego rather than genuine concern about the game. Then you have brainwashed simps as well who think that everything is near perfect, and the players are the problem.
The only problem I really see with this game is who in the hell is going to want to play through this game ever league that does sound like a boring slog fest to me
@@theWebWizrdhe meant when playing leagues/seasons is to start again with the slow walking/hard difficulty gameplay making the season boring. And it would take weeks to reach the bare minimum
As they fully release everything, all the abilities and supports, some movement things will come into the game ie improvements to roll or dashes like poe1 and a quicksilver flask equivalent, which will make the game much faster. First few leagues will be very slow but thats also how POE 1 was at the beginning and look at it now, can do all the acts in 8 hours or less - even as a relatively casual player. They know their playerbase doesn't enjoy the acts much past the first time of doing it and will intentionally speed it up in future leagues to the point where you can just steamroll through it with minimal itemization - especially when item bloat becomes a thing.
its genuine feedback from people who are invested into the game. You can't just constantly shit on people because they're not having a good time with it. Hell both asmon and lighty said the didnt have any issues in the game yet they just so happened to be playing one of the strongest builds available at the moment. Different people have different experiences and complaining about the things that suck is how poe1 got to where it is now. Complete schizo take from the original video poster.
While I do mostly like Tri's points, I do think he almost tries to over-reach when justifying some of the (currently) bad decisions. Being smug about disenchanting blues and yellows seems tone deaf when all that gives you is orbs you KINDA don't need. The Exalted orbs are WAY more important and the drop rates on those are currently abysmal, even with the chaos orb nerf. I do think being able to upgrade lower tier orbs to higher ones would also fix this, as I'm currently swimming in the first two orbs. WAIT I'm confused, Tri is defending the Trials but he hasn't reached them yet???? Also defends endgame without having experienced it yet?? I'm sorry, but him and his family "loving" the game and its progression is such a weird barometer of the game being good. I'm loving the game, and it is easily one of the best games I've played all year, but I certainly do agree that the game needs a lot of tuning, and dismissing critique by being smug, and gaslighting players into believing it's them and not the game is certainly a weird hill to die on.
Trials are crazy dumb right now, I just lost an attempt in the crystal challenge room because I made a wrong turn. I was not even trying to kill enemies, just trying to complete the objectives before the time ends. The game punishing you for not guessing the layout of the map correctly, it's such an artificial difficulty decision to have in the game. There is also the gamble altar, that tells you to exchange a curse for another “minor” one, but in fact, the new curse is not necessarily “minor” at all. I ended up getting 40% less damage in exchange for not randomizing my next door. For a game that relies so much on words to let you know what are you getting, this is a huge oversight. I only made 2 attempts, but that's already enough for me to see how unbalanced these mechanics are.
I completely agree, he was being a smarmy elitist asshat. The new "lab" is terrible, with the old lab even new players could make it through at least the first lab on a crap toon to be able to get an idea of ascending, now good luck even if you're a halfway decent player.
Completely agree with this. Like I'm sorry but if you haven't even reached the content then you have no leg to stand on to defend the content. Your family enjoying the game has zero impact on the state of the game. Definitely with you on loving the game but it does need a lot more work.
I like Tri but he does this alot. Got to get them Jaydog interviews and they ain't free. You got to do some virtue signaling or strait simping to get them. For the most part ggg only does interviews with "fans".

24:47 when I roll and I’m pushed by mobs into the wall as I’m rolling, stun blocked, dead. The jackass that said skill issue is idiotic, when you roll and a mob is pushing you, that’s bad design 🤣 30:39 again mine beginning act 2, when I walk around corner and mobs swarm, I’m not chaining, go to roll and pushed to wall
100%. People don't want to admit it's a game design issue because saying "skill issue" and stroking their ego is a better option to them lol we all know we've had this issue and I'm sure nobody enjoys when it happens
Guys you do realize you can equip movement skills that get you out of a situation like this right? Lol jesus christ people are so dumb. Keep body blocking if you dont run a movement skill then you should be punished for putting yourself in a bad situation simple as that
The guy who made the video isn't even in act 5 yet. He has no idea what he's talking about. Just a massive GGG shill who is just as one-sided as the people he's accusing of being one-sided. I enjoy PoE 2 a lot right now, but there's OBVIOUS problems with the game.
For real though, you get some awesome gear from vendors. At level 3 or so I bought a wand that gave me a level 3 spell for normal use and a bunch of awesome mods and a offhand with a lot of intelligence.
But if you want it to be hard isn't that what the hardcore mode for vs the standard? Standard should be average gamers and casuals. Also a lot of other games vender gear is trash compared to what is drop in those games so folks don't think to look at the venders. I think that is a big issue a lot of folks have cause most other games vender gear is trash.
As far as getting cornered and stunlocked to death, I have some ideas. 1. A skill that let's you phase roll through X amount of enemies based on evasion on a 6-10 second cooldown. 2. A skill that allows players to push X amount of enemies X amount of distance based on armor with a 3-5 second cooldown. 3. A skill to allow players to teleport X amount of distance in correlation and in cost of the players energy shield with a 10 second cooldown. This way, each type of build can have some form of escape, but it's not crutch.
I agree with what you said here. My problem with asmons take is that he doesn't factor in the dodge roll implementation. If you could phase through enemies a high evasion character could literally never be killed because you can dodge roll through anything AND anyone. So then to balance that they would have to make the dodgeroll have a cool down which would suuuuucccckkkkk
@@PandorasBox7777 Well you still have other solutions like a blink staff, what youre saying is to add a compulsory skill you essentially have to take, that also requires you to max defense to have an , which favors specific kinds of gameplay while nerfing others. Im pretty sure what youre saying doesnt inspire different playstyle, not the other way around
The guy took every point made on reddit and went against it, shit takes from a guy that didn't make it to (early) end game, invalidating players experiences while barely having played the game himself.
no yellow drops no regal orbs you can craft items but only blue items that you will never use anyway because you probably got something better .... sorry but the loot is a problem especially with maps that big where you have to run around for 30 minutes to find something ... imagine you run into the 20th dead end and find a golden chest that actually drops more than 20 gold and a grey item that would improve the fun of the game tremendously ... difficutly seems to be fine from my pov but trials can be a little bit cursed imo
Diablo 3 was the same. The whole genre is like that, I don't understand the issue. There's no yellow drops because if there was early in the game there would be 0 difficulty and bosses would be piss easy and it would be boring like D4 is. I've had quite a few yellows and you can buy yellows often from the vendor.
@tigerpaws111 imagine now you wont get your yellows and good upgrades from vendors but from actual drops while running around for 30 minutes in giant maps ... and sorry yellow chests not being anything special just defeats the purpose of them being yeloow chests .., I understand where you are coming from if you are just a brainless drone anyway why not run around in circles pushing two buttons in a video game too
Act 2 boss was tough the first character I made but the second one I one attempted it. The more you play the more you learn the mechanics and how to set yourself up for success.
Almost can't see them and they do a ton of damage, then on top of that the insane amount of trash mobs swarming you where one of them has the potential to 2 shot you.. Fun right?
It is your problem of not having secondary weapon that allow you jump or break out with skill like Two handed Mace. It is your free jail card. Learn and stop trying to play a game with single button build that allows you to instant killing everything in screen.
My guess is that in every game , people follows very popular builds. There's almost no builds right now , so most hardcore players are just like the cusual ones. People are so used to have an easy experience...
Only problem with Warrior is that armor as a stat objectively is bad. Compared to evasion and energy shield, it’s worse. And this is because most of the game that is objectively hard doesn’t use physical damage and as a melee character getting hit by ranged attacks that armor doesn’t negate at all and all this while standing in pools of blood or poison because you have to run up to the enemy.
EDIT: Yes, I visit the vendors often but lack of gold and my current weapon and attributes on it make vendor purchases not worth it 95% of the time. I spent upwards of 4 hours trying to beat Jamanra as a warrior. I love the game but dang. Granted I’m a new player with zero prior PoE experience. My main gripe is that there isn’t enough weapon drops to be viable. HOWEVER this does make it extremely satisfying when you beat a boss. BUT the loot they drop is lackluster IMO.
I don’t even get buying from vendors, like in any rpg. The best gear is never with the vendors, and it’s RNG crap that will be gone by the time you have the money necessary to get what is essentially a slightly better random drop. You might as well stack up on luck and just farm areas. I just never understood caring about vendors in a game like this
A lot of bosses are just not designed for melee. You can only beat them if you SKIP all their mechanics (by overleveling or having an OP oneshot build). All those people saying "skill issue", are basically just skipping mechanics, that those people who are struggling have to do over and over to take a boss down.
They actually do tell you to check the vendors when you level up. Its a message on the loading screens, for me it loads so fast that I only see it for a second but its there
27:50 I completely agree with this, stun locks are just a bad experience. As a player you should always have a chance to outplay the mobs/bosses, for some classes having a big mob coming at your way in the middle of fighting a boss is almost impossible to recover.
The problem isn’t the difficulty of the bosses mechanics, it’s that the loot system is so shitty that ur severely underserved for every single one of them
Okay, then reload and kill things, level up a bit. You expect to blow through everything all in a linear fashion with no road blocks? On diablo 2 you could get all the way to act 5 and still not have had much drop. Then your friend sat next to you could have had about 15 uniques. Sometimes you can blast through, sometimes you gotta farm andariel/mephisto for a bit. You are just a noob.
@legendofmirr nah i gotta agree with the op here. The loot is terrible ive had to buy all my gear from the shops in order to be geared enough to do the side quests. All my loot is either wrong class, common or the stats are so garbage that it's only useful for currency. I've seen maybe 3 to 2 items that I use that dropped from a boss or mob that being a ring, the only 2 rings that ever dropped during my 12 hours of gametime. Don't get me wrong the game is super fun and it's the best arpg we ever had but this loot problem needs to be fixed someway cuz I didn't know I would have to window shop for new gear every level.
@@xcolmanrickx3027Actual question and not just criticism, what's your loot rarity? I have mine at like 14% and I feel I get an adequate amount of item drops. I also find using new magic items is very beneficial Moreso than old rares since they have higher base stats, which is the most important part imo
@ or axes, if you click on those weapons in the skills menu it says everything is coming soon, hard to believe the game is literally only 50% with how big it already is
"Tactical error" you mean full clear the map. Its one thing to make you need to fight monsters and its another to make you full clear white mobs because otherwise they get surrounded and body blocked to death
you don't need to full-clear any area once you know the layout. In Cruel I cleared act1 in about 1h 30m. Only the zone between cemetery and farm area made me full clear it as I was looking for Crowbell boss and missed it. First time going through the game I was much slower, was trying out skill combinations and finding what I want to do. In Cruel campaign re-play it's basically smooth sailing with some reality checks in between when I'm getting too cocky. Once I make a new character it's going to be even more smooth as I'll besically be going through the same zones 3rd or 4th time and have learned their general layout. Once acts 4-6 drop it'll be slow again for first time going through, finding what's actually beneficial, fighting all mini- and maxi-bosses to learn what's there to learn. And we're back to zooming through campaign again.
Worse yet is when you full clear everything, but then you activate a ritual you get enclosed in a small area and overwhelmed by a throng of enemies using a build designed around letting minions distract enemies to let you create distance to kite - on hardcore. Next build was designed entirely different to avoid that specific scenario despite the previous build working really well in every other scenario.
@annojance skill dif started at character creation lol. The ritual interaction felt terrible on my ranged character. They just spawn around you and when you respawn at the checkpoint the original mobs are already there. Terrible gameplay loop that is not a skill check
@manwithnewname oh yes, the dashing dogs, fast crabs, etc will surely slow down so I can outrun them. You aren't even adding to the conversation if your comment is " just do the thing".
This is the first time I've ever played this type of game. Nothing similar to this ever. I don't think this game is hard at all. All the basics are explained well enough for me to understand and anything I don't know i can just find it on Google or UA-cam.
Tip for New Players or Players that cant decide what passive to take, Remember just that simple thing: GO FOR DMG as muich as you can, its easier to compensate missing durability with Skill and movement, then it is to compensate missing dmg with longer fights, if you have to decide which way you go, offensive is better defensive, if you follow that Rule, you will do atleast enough dmg.
the difficulty is not the problem: the lack of rewards is. U fight a hard boss that takes u a few tries and u end up with just a rare and several blues? and that's the reward if u are lucky...
you dont get it.....ive been using a white item from act 2 all the way threw act3......do you even use any of the orbs and crafting ? or do you sell them and just wait for loot drops?
Ppl just wanna start a completely new game just as strong as they were before 😂😂😂 or to get loot fast enough for them to have everything back, years of progress in a week, hope the devs don't hear to those ppl a good game has progress not just oh look legendary gear week one, if everything is legendary nothing is legendary
After playing more. They shouldn't change body blocking or difficulty. Just the currency increase, which is a great move.Loot poofing isn't good but there is nothing wrong with more exp (mobs respawning).
I'm fine with body block as long as there's enaugh space. Something has to be changed about those ritual altars in act 1. it's on the worst zone possible with little space for maneuvering and tight bridges, .Once you activate the altar, it spawns like 20-30 mobs and you can't escape until they're dead. I'm sure many player diead there purely because of bad luck and not because of skill issue.
@AlbusPercivalWulfrykDumbledore if I remember that part (rituals) correctly, the solution is most likely to start the ritual and then bottleneck them on the small bridges. I only did the quest on 2 toons, sorc and witch, and I just circled the area, not against the walls, and widdled them down. Melee feels too bad to the community, so I haven't bothered to roll one, so I have no idea about how that would fair in that situation.
The game isn't that hard. People are just mad that they are forced to actually use skills. Yes I have died plenty of times but as I kept dying I got better. For example, all the bosses are hard yes but they all can be beat by learning their patterns.
People are not mad about that, it’s just there are obvious design flaws, and people are trying to defend them for some reason. And they usually didn’t even finished acts
Some of these takes are awful. 'People are upset labs hard now' Tedious is the word your looking for. None of this new combat is difficult. You literally step to the side or press roll every few seconds. 'Players aren't crafting' again crafting might work for you.. congrats you rng'd into a good item. But if you spend all your orbs and don't rng a usable item you're just stuck. There's no way to be better at crafting than anyone else it's literally just a roll of the dice. If he's getting 'constant upgrades' then he's getting good rng on his orbs while others aren't. He hasn't done anything special he's just got lucky. I've cleared all bosses in 1 or 2 trys when there's a second stage with an ability I hadn't seen yet. This combat isn't hard.
for context, this guy had beef with r/poe before since he couldnt take a tiniest bit of criticism about how his videos are structured and he blindly praising every single decision made by ggg even tho its universally questionable. and this time, unsurprisingly, again he agreed with all the changes and balances even tho zizaran spoke out about it such as the loot drop.i liked his videos at first and even subbed but over time, i just found his content dull and lack of originality.
Me and my friend died about 15 times at the Executioner with the warrior and Witch. Some characters are better than others. The revive time is a problem that should be fixed. If one dies from a party of 2, it is practically impossible to revive him during battle.
One of the bosses i really loved was the guy who has the fire canisters at all 4 corners of the room, during my first few attempts I let the boss run into / attack the flame canisters and I kept dying over and over due to having nowhere to dodge. I didnt realize till about my 6-7th try on cruel that you can actually kite the boss in certain ways to avoid having him destroy the cannisters, ultimately making the fight 10x easier without burning ground everywhere. This is a great example of a punishment that makes sense, and might seem unfair but once you figure out the mechanics and how to play around it, it can feel very rewarding to figure out the progression.
Used to play Cabal Online for years back in around middle school, progressing through the game and levelling up to max would take so long that I never ended up reaching the max level, neither did my brother who also didn't open multiple characters like me. And that, was an amazing experience for me back then. For poe2, I see the progress taking time rather than a speedrun to the end as an absolute win.
I think you're on point. Some players are used to POE1 gameplay. I've never played POE1 or any Diablo games. So this is my first game like this. I'm having a blast and thought the vendor's changing stock was common knowledge.
I'm tank... sanctum was a breeze... Warrior gets tons of ranged/aoe attacks. Drop earthquake, back up two steps, screen goes boom... Just, I guess maybe harder that ranger, but I had no problem...
10:50 what people nowadays don't know anymore is that the trials were just as hard when they came out as well. People used to have to get carries for them all the time
The reason I feel like respeccing shouldn't be free: I like it to feel meaningful whenever I commit to a talent. If there were no commitment, I don't think it would feel quite as meaningful, since it doesn't matter if I choose wrong. There doesn't seem to be a lot of weight to my reasoning, but there is to me. A "half-way" approach would be to make the previous few points (1 to 5 points for example) be freely respeccable, so you can try out a few points with no severe consequences, but every point beyond that would require gold.
15:51 I think they could improve honor by making it interact more with your character's tankiness. Honor scales with health, honor damage is reduced by armor, resistances, and endurance charges, life steal and regen increase recovered honor at fountains or give a small amount back after each room.
The body blocking issue can easily be solved by making evasive skills (slow paced "phasing" skills, like jumping over mobs) accessible at an early stage. I had that with the ranger and though I was blocked sometimes, trying to escape and succeeding feels really rewarding.
For the mob stuck problem. What If you could get an ability that break stun and to push them all back or stagger if they are too big. But that ability has charges that refill every 30 minutes, so you can not spam it. That way, you have a chance to correct your mistake and be more alert for it. Maybe each class can have a unique ability, for example a monk would have a wind shock wave but a warrior will use a berserker warcry
I only had a few hours into poe1 maybe made it to lvl 30s. Playing poe2 and being fully invested in it now. I can tell you I’m really enjoying the difficulty. I love that the devs made the game challenging throughout the game. I love the drop rates. Being a huge Diablo 2 fan this game feels like it was made by the same people who made d2 . The die hard gamer. Poe2 feels like the first time you got to hell and a quill rat trucks you lol. I love the depth of the game so far and excited to learn more about end game. I’m a little bit away from that still. 🎉
I think the toughest thing most players and people in general is admitting "I messed up" or " I fucked up" and seeing that it is not the games fault that you are not interacting with it correctly.
I have a problem with a game that has already shown us multiple builds that just one-shot all the bosses and content. It's like dooms' god-mode (IDDQD) . Most people are going to use those builds to make the game irrelevant.
The main problem with the less loot is that its so much more likely for you to not get an upgrade. If you finally see your first rare halfway through Act 2 and its not even something you can use... youre gonna hate the loot system compared to the guy who ended up slowly getting loot that he could use and was an upgrade
As PoE2 is right now I do not give a shit about it. What I really want is an update to the graphics of PoE1 and if my memory serves me right that is how PoE2 started out. The decision to change and make it a whole new game was made later on and now it's difficult to not feel like the development of PoE1 has been stunted ever since. I'm happy GGG seems to make a game that they themselves enjoy more and that they have monumental success with it, but it seems to come at the cost of the game I actually liked. Of course all of this is just feelings and I have no clue what is happening behind the scenes or if some of the great updates we've seen to PoE1 come from the mechanics designed for PoE2, so for now I'm just hoping PoE1 gets the updates I wish it already had
Gamers are told, game is unfinished and unbalanced.

Correct. I'm tired of being an unpaid intern for studios trying to feel out the market or wtv.

I think they should complain more. More complaints = more critical issues will be spotted and fixed ez.
this is a ridiculous take. the game is $30. early access games sell for significantly cheaper prices in the early access stage than in full releases. If you are buying a game for $30, (technically not buying a game but access to early access), it should be worth $30 and be functional like $30. the game did reverse strategy of industrial norm. instead of giviing discount to players for playing an unfinished game, they hyped up the game and sold access to an unfinished game.
I'm actually loving the slower pace and difficulty. The act one boss really forced me to re-evaluate my build and get better gear.

Litterly everybody agrees that the currency drops were a problem.
Considering GGG released patch to address some of the negative on the PoE sub, it looks like the PoE sub is correct
Most people think vendors are useless, because path of exile 1 and diablo games taught them that.
I got very lucky at vendor buying these randomized items, after 2-3 I always got a useful rare for whatever I needed to upgrade.

Let’s be honest, it’s still an amazing game while being difficult.
It's not hard. But after 10 hours of play it gets boring and tedious.
It's not even that difficult. You just have to play the game like an actual rpg. If you're stuck on a boss, just switch around your skills/ passives and learn the mechanics. Boom. Done.

They don't attack until you do an action, so you can TP away.
I dont figure it out until now. Did we lose xp with Death? The gear that dropped already despawn after death, right?
WP ggg

This!
But it's need to be like second one, it's not rpg or souls game, it's repetitive farming arpg
The fact that it's actually both makes it so good. Even with goor gear, better than you need, without thinking a bit and building knowledge about boss, you just die. And the more experience you are, the lower the gear you need up until gear check is mandatory.
@@vitali1002 there's nothing that says that it needs to be like that.

Right now it’s $30 for EA (up to $100) which means 300-1000 points towards MTX. The only thing you’d maybe want to get is stash tabs, everything else to my knowledge is purely cosmetic. This also goes towards PoE1
I personally don’t know about seasons, I think during EA they will just be tweaking balance and working on adding the other classes and ascendancies along with their weapons.

@@Psieye I haven't been toxic as I explained how the skillweb is fundamentally bad design, its the reason people stop playing PoE1 and they kept it for PoE2, people act like "it's good now, I promise" because they haven't had years to nerf all the builds that show up in people's recommended tab here on UA-cam "X Build is so broken"
GGG nerfs every build that is OP, which nerfs all of the casual builds that used those passive points too, leading to the problem in PoE1 where making a build is more difficult.
You should be punished for forming a huge train of monsters and cornering yourself without the dps to clear them. Risk vs Reward.
>30 mobs spawn 5ft away in a narrow corridor

It costs fuck all.

I 100% agree with his take on mob blocking, it is such an unnecessary mechanic that adds nothing of value to the core game play. It's just stupid.

@@bojangles5226same here 😂
Completely disagree.

I really think we should have several free full respec items per campaign.
i prefer arpg's when they drop you surprise items that make your gameplay fun, like diablo 2, torchlight 2, borderlands 1, etc. and not spending 30 mins in town re rolling stats on an item like most diablo/poe copies.

Who'dathunk

About the vendor system, everytime you level up, the vendor items refresh.
SSF player know this.
don't worry, they will gaslight themselves into believing it only refresh after beat Act final boss
But it’s normally trash gear there’s should be loot in a loot game shouldn’t have to rely on vendors when you level up dumbest mechanic ever
@@adamcunningham8044just because its white or magic doesn't mean it's trash. I have so many rare that i build from white. That's how the game work "crafting"
@ if I want to make my own items I’ll play D2, it’s 2024 I shouldn’t have to combine things to make weapons or armor in game slows you down and makes the experience not immersive at all, 90% of my time spent was in town looking through trash gear that didn’t help me, y’all have fun with your wannabe ARPG I’ll face roll everything in D4 day 3
Which would be helpful if there was actually useful items on vendors.
Rolling isn't phasing you out of existence. What you expect this mechanic to be? A get-out-of-jail-card?
100%. People don't want to admit it's a game design issue because saying "skill issue" and stroking their ego is a better option to them lol we all know we've had this issue and I'm sure nobody enjoys when it happens
If only there were movement gems you could equip.... say leap slam or teleport, to get out of those situations.
Good news is it’s been patched
Hardcore is not "hard mode".
Hardcore is permadeath. It pushes for a very different playstyle, regardless of difficulty.
They made it so you have 0 hit box in the first half of your I frames
@NickRigas-rd3zv yeah, but that's not as interesting and doesn't inspire different playstyles
I like the idea of having an evasion check on the body blocking.

But you can upgrade the normal items you don’t need to only find a gold item
That's just it. Every time I roll a character the game seems to be easier 🤣
getting swarmed by little bugs in act 2, is not fullfilling punishment.

Warrior is awesome, I can't even touch other classes since they feel awesome
Is this including vendor ? Are you checking them? are you breaking items for upgrading shards ?
They buffed drops today
You gotta disenchant and craft man.....the answer to your problem is right there in front of you already in the game
The problem isn’t the difficulty of the bosses mechanics, it’s that the loot system is so shitty that ur severely underserved for every single one of them
this is it
Okay, then reload and kill things, level up a bit.
The fact that my only unique that dropped was a club when I was playing sorceress. Extremely disappointing
@@xcolmanrickx3027Actual question and not just criticism, what's your loot rarity? I have mine at like 14% and I feel I get an adequate amount of item drops. I also find using new magic items is very beneficial Moreso than old rares since they have higher base stats, which is the most important part imo
This video has hilarious timing because GGG just posted a new patch that addresses like all these issues
it was already perfect, so I'm glad the game is more perfect now

Just walk away from them lol you don't need to full clear an area even if you don't know the layout just keep moving and don't get trapped
@manwithnewname oh yes, the dashing dogs, fast crabs, etc will surely slow down so I can outrun them. You aren't even adding to the conversation if your comment is " just do the thing".
I think its from the competitor buzzer army, they hire to give negatif feedback and stop the hype lol, only bussines and money matter here
This is the first time I've ever played this type of game. Nothing similar to this ever. I don't think this game is hard at all. All the basics are explained well enough for me to understand and anything I don't know i can just find it on Google or UA-cam.
Also I'm doing a two handed warrior build and idc how many times I gotta try a boss, I'm gonna make it work. 😂
then you have a decent bulid. Congratulations. Now run a cold blood mage.
Tip for New Players or Players that cant decide what passive to take, Remember just that simple thing:
GO FOR DMG as muich as you can, its easier to compensate missing durability with Skill and movement, then it is to compensate missing dmg with longer fights, if you have to decide which way you go, offensive is better defensive, if you follow that Rule, you will do atleast enough dmg.
the difficulty is not the problem: the lack of rewards is. U fight a hard boss that takes u a few tries and u end up with just a rare and several blues? and that's the reward if u are lucky...
6:05
Ikr? You should get a full set of your perfect gear because anything else would be unnecessary and unfulfilling.
you dont get it.....ive been using a white item from act 2 all the way threw act3......do you even use any of the orbs and crafting ? or do you sell them and just wait for loot drops?
@Kulinarchi No the problem is that these people who complaining are 9 times out of 10 people who either never played POE1 or never played Diablo.

I don't find the game difficult just slow and unrewarding. It really is getting boring.
Some of these takes are awful.
'People are upset labs hard now'
Tedious is the word your looking for.
Isn’t this the same asmongold that always says the players decide if a game is good and if they don’t like it, it’s a bad game?
I'm level 22 and I'm still using the same weapon I was using at level 12. And yes, I check vendors at every level up.
I'm tank... sanctum was a breeze... Warrior gets tons of ranged/aoe attacks. Drop earthquake, back up two steps, screen goes boom... Just, I guess maybe harder that ranger, but I had no problem...
That's a fkn caster not a warrior. Earthquake is cool but wtf they only got 1 melee skills.
War is a caster lol
@eclipse369. After I cleared act 2 I pretty much only use boneshatter now. But ya it's mostly slam and pray.

The reason I feel like respeccing shouldn't be free:
I like it to feel meaningful whenever I commit to a talent.
I don’t need to even see the trailer, I saw their first go at the source material and I’m fine with that as the only one in existence.
Imagen that your all so used to sht companys giving out sht on a plater and having you PAY to test an UNFINISHED game.lmfao cope more
I only had a few hours into poe1 maybe made it to lvl 30s.
