    I've been an occasional golfer (1x every 4-5 years for the last 20 years) but now I'm trying to play 3-4x/month last couple months. I'm a new subscriber and appreciate your articulate lessons that keep it simple for us beginners. I wish I had your lessons 20 years ago! Thank you!

    You're a great teacher of the game. My daughter who plays in high school has been watching your lessons and practicing all your drills. She went from a swing with a sway to swinging like a pro, your lessons are impressive and I've seen them make a huge difference in a players ball striking. Do you have plans for a pitch shot lesson?

      If you hit the play list button, I have organized videos into different categories. If you come to my website www.golfwithaimee.com, videos are organized. There are more contents such as golf articles, Q&A section etc.

    I stumbled onto your video and immediately liked it a lot. First of all, you have a very pleasant appearance, and next, your dictation and the delivery are very clear and concise. Obviously you are one of the best teachers of golf in the cyber world and you will be on the top list of my watch list. Maybe one of these days i hope i run into you by chance or by purpose since i live in L.A. area.
    By the way, on the spin chip, mine does have back spin but i want to see more check on it, like a hop or two, then stop. Mine's dribble a little bit, even not too far though.

    My wife and I both like your instruction and you're very clear on directions. I would suggest that on a few videos that maybe some panning out to see what the golf ball does would be good. I'd like to see how different the ball acts with the different strikes.
    Thanks for posting, and we both think you're an excellent teacher.

    I had never tried this method but practiced it today and really liked it. You have to stay relaxed and keep weight on left side. When do you use this method instead of the other chipping method shown in Lessons 4 and 6?

    Hi Aimee, I love your videos!! I have a question... you talk about bounce in your basic chipping video. In this video you talk about spinning and running, is it more with the leading edge? Thank you?

    Great tips as always. Watched a few tips now such as how to stop pulling short irons and chipping and instantly dropped 10 strokes off my game. unfortunately now I am hitting my short irons so pure I over hit about 8 greens. LOL

    Hi, and thanks for your help. In your distance control video on wedge pitches, you talk about moving the ball back in your stance to achieve more spin. In your chipping video you move it forward in your stance for more spin. Have I misunderstood something?

    In your Golf Lesson 004 on chipping, you were telling people to turn their body on the downswing like closing a door. But in Lessons 006 and 008 you were not turning your body as such. Are there two ways of going about the downswing ?

    • @GolfWithAimee
      @GolfWithAimee  8 років тому +5

      yes I did notice my head was down on those other chipping lessons. If I were just chipping my head would always be following through, like the door closing, but I was caught up with explaining other details in those lesson~ Thanks for bringing that up to clarify!

    when you open your stance for chipping do you also open the club face an equal amount?

    • @GolfWithAimee
      @GolfWithAimee  8 років тому +2

      +samiam1150 you can open the face for higher trajectory n more spin, but you can also keep it square to the target, depends on which shot you are trying to accomplish!

    Can you demonstrate a delicate soft chip for maybe 10 ft to hole off rough or fringe? Meaning I have a problem of just hitting grass and ball goes few inches hitting fat or clipping the ball across green

    Thanks.

    • @GolfWithAimee

      I would personally recommend using more than one club. Try doing the same chipping technique using different wedges and even some irons!

    I have been told that a chip shot is simply a putt with a different club. That thought has helped me prevent the lateral approaches, hozel rockets, snap fades, etc (sha---s) that often creep into my otherwise very good chipping skills. What are your thoughts re what I have been told? I think the putting thought with a chip prevents my getting stuck inside in the takeaway in a chip shot.
